| I can't believe some of the posts here (Okay, I do. This is MAL after all...) Yeah, this isn't Fate 2.0 and the animation is a bit worse which I sense some outsourcing to Koreans in a few scenes. And yes this is definitely an SNK clone...if it weren't for the fact that the source game came out before /sarcasm inb4 "they're just cashing in on the SNK fad hurr" Ranting aside, I wish they opted for the female MC route instead of the male. Would've been closer immersion to my game counterpart. |

| I wasn't hyped waiting for this anime . I first heard of it only today, watched episode and its great it has different style but i see don't where all the hate is coming from ? I guess that's what happens then people over-hype a show and has to high expectations . Sorry for bad english |

I won't lean either way without watching it but yeah a few screenshots/gifs/previews were all I needed to prioritize other shows this season.no i dont expect a fate 2.0 but i do expect some lvl of quality...im not ignorant to the studio and i know they have made other ovas and other stuff that may not be on par with fates quality but its still good....but this is just a try hard show....the amoung of shading or shadowing or whatever effect they used makes it feel like a CG show. im not saying this has to be anywhere similar to fate but im saying as their next big anime i would think they would try something new...they arent a studio that really adapts much tv series so i thought this was their break from the stigma of only make the fate series good. sad to say this but i havent enjoyed a ufotable work since Knk |

| For all that hype, it certainly wasn't what I expected. The artstyle is like even worse that the one from the game (there was a clip in youtube with the movie from the game). I don't know why they decided to go down that path, but I will stick with it and see where it goes, but from the first episode, the only thing that made me happy was hearing the voices of Kazuya Nakai and Hirata Hiroaki, that's all. |

| 8 Animation Directors + 12 Studios for the first episode premiere. This is really not a good sign. Expect more QUALITY and even SnK-tier unfinished cuts from here onwards. |

| I dunno, visually it was a spectacle ( although with some jarring shots ) but story wise it was pretty bad. Hope it picks up a more steady pacing and story telling. |

| That was... not as bad as I thought, and by that I mean the art style. It looks really cool and all, but the action scenes were a bit meh, except the last one, that looked really cool. Definitely excited to see more, hopefully ufotable doesn't fuck up. |

| snk is a masterpeace and this is not... plain typical simple characters... i like oldcodex opening ,but the animation... i don´t know why i don´t like it so much i will continue watching but because i like the action maybe i miss here some reflexions about life , death and surviving some more trascendent and phylosophical questions about human being (more juicy)(deeper),this is very simple to entertaining is enought.... |

| Not so groundbreaking story wise, but then it's just the first episode. It was good, but I was expecting more. Animation wise it certainly not upto other UFO series but better than most other series this season. And the soundtracks were pretty good. Decent episode. Want to see more of Unit 1 tbh. |
