| i actually only read the manga, and i couldn't get hooked with the anime. i love the soundtracks though. Nonetheless i'm so hyped for this. i'm just hoping for more sweet and heart-warming stories, especially when there are 3 new girls |

Mhm Alice,Akari and Aika look really good imo,but I'm not sure about the 2 new ones...they look too "moeblob-esque",if that makes any sense.What I always liked about Aria was that every character had it's own charm,personality and quirks,something that is,from what I've seen,really unique for it's genre. With "only" 3 new episodes I fear that the new ones won't get any of that but are just being cute.It's not good to judge that based on a key visual,I know that, and it's a new generation afterall so it's only the Natural(...) thing to happen,that it looks different that is. Neither good nor bad,just different;) But who cares,it's Aria so ofc it will be great,right? :p |

Neither good nor bad,just different;) But who cares,it's Aria so ofc it will be great,right? :p Maybe b'cos it's made by a different studio maybe... but then again, to make you feel more assured, the two new characters actually made by Kozue Amano herself (like I already stated), and that a new manga chapter that becomes the base of the anime's third episode will be completely drawn by Amano-sensei (with the first two episodes come from the original manga chapter that has not yet been adapted, don't know which ones though). For more information, I suggest you to click this blue link that will lead you to ANN news about this. If they really plan Aria to be a "moeblob" show, that means they're following the trend instead of staying true to the nature of the show. If they do that, means there are some elements of "money-milking" behind it. However, I won't go too far as to think that this is a "money-milking" attempt to gain profit from something that has been concluded 10 years ago (no fuking way. no. not Aria). Unlike a certain recently-concluded ninja manga which supposed to be done but somehow got continued again (now with people with father issue as a bonus), Avvenire seems to be a "one-hit" planning; it is meant to commemorate, not to gain profit. That "pure-hearted" intention alone is enough to make me believe that Avvenire will be a beautiful ride, just like its predecessors. And yes. It's Aria, so it's automatically good (it must be), just like how any LN adaptation which involves school-life is automatically bad :P Period. |
