| Origin story cram fest! Considering her background is basically "I want to stop bad guys because I happen to have powers perfect for doing that" I feel like that was a bit unnecessarily long of a flashback. The art looks good and I think it could be promising, but it was quite an underwhelming first chapter. Stan Lee cameo was on point. This chapter does feel a bit like the short Gohan and Videl high school arc, couldn't stop thinking of those chapters while reading this one, reminded me of it quite a bit. I'll be keeping an eye out and hoping for more development! |
