The artwork was brilliant but it also captured a more realistic side of plastic surgery or rather its effects on people. Now, we didn't get to see the old her but I got a feeling it doesn't matter anymore. Shame this was a one-shot. I'd love to see character progression. |

| For what it had to offer it was rather lovely to read. A bitter sweet ending I suppose. I wonder what she looked like when she was younger though that is what had me curious and what happened. |

| It was beautiful and really sad. I didn't feel the need to see her old face. It really doesn't matter. The ending was a bit shocking for me, I thought she would try to be happy and to be loved and love once, but she didn't. I think one person can't change what you feel for your entire life. Not that fast at least. I wish it had more chapters *sigh* Well, loved it. |

| I feel that the ending was really fitting (& bitter) because this one shot is never about her salvation, just her pains throughout her teenage year and how it carried over to her adult year, how it is affecting her present. Of course, it is a different story if it was longer than a one-shot (which I hope it will be continued one day), we would want to see a happy ending after reading couple of chapters. |

| Absolutely gorgeous. This is hands-down the best work she's written. It's poignant, painful, and real. I would also love a story built around this theme, but the little glimpses to her past are so effective that revealing more would disassemble the charm. Velvet Kiss was all-too-often riddled with drama to prolong the plot. Despite that, Kikuchiya Kanoko was a captivating, fascinating character that I couldn't get enough of. Her insecure, yet demanding nature -- I'd never seen that before. I feel like Transient Flower capitalized on the author's incredible female character-building. And as a girl, it's always great when a hentai artist can draw both males and females equally attractively. |
| The art is pretty neat but it speaks volume of the downside of a perfectionist society.Cant hide the hideous heart by that mesmerising glitter.It's a cycle and a happy ending wont cut it.Cant say i have any sympathy for the girl though.Poor chef. |
