Although she often ridicule him it is mostly not in an ill intent, she keeps doing it as a facade because otherwise she would felt awkward with him, it is the only way she could maintain the 'friendliness' without giving the wrong signal. Quite interesting though that she still remembers him and says hi when they meet again. If she felt him as 'disgusting' she would rather ignored their encounter, but on the most occurrences she strikes me saw 8man as 'interesting' plaything, because I think all the friend she had is all pretentious, even on the highschool. For her, 8man is probably the only honest friend she had. Then again, I don't read the LN, so take it as a grain of salt. |

Good point, I know similar girls like her thats just awkward with talking to a school mate after all these years, there wasnt any ill intent in that, they just wanted to add drama in it adding Hikki's style, if I were Hikki I would have teased her back that would have been more fun lol. Yes Yukino don't deserve the backlash because after all she is probably the only direct person that confronts the problem as seen in the end of episode 7. But we also get Hachiman's break up with the club and he will not be hanging out with Yui or Yukino again for sometime. Sometimes it is good to lie to prevent something bad happening, at least that's what Yui's doing. Now Hachiman is going to be spending more time with Iroha, I'm smelling some date coming... |

I agree with this, a mainstream example is Naruto. Because he end up with Hinata, the supporting character and not the first girl, Sakura. So there's always hope for secondary characters like Yui or Iroha. |

Damn because of Kawasaki role in season 1 is omitted a lot, the season 2 can't just pop up Kawasaki as a romantic interest or regular supporting character because that would confuse anime only viewers. |

| Neither Yui nor Yukino really stood out for me, neither in S1 and even more so season. 8man interacting with other girls is proving to be just as interesting. Sadly, there hasn't been much of Shizuka this season either. Instead, there's quite a bit of Isshiki and there's some small chemistry moving along between her & 8man, though it most likely won't go too far(the ship won't sail but I'd still like to see them become friends). 8man's carrying this season more so than the 1st and among all the other characters, I find his interactions with Hayama to be the most interesting so far. |

Little things like that make the LN more interesting yes, but in the anime i feel like it would just take up too much time for 20 min. episodes. |

She should be doing something apart from just existing. Yeah I actually kind of agree, pretty much all of Kawasaki scene with Hachiman is for gag or fun. A 20 minutes episode of 13 episodes would be hard to adapt everything :/ |

In all likelihood, i expect it to be something original, or something more similar to how such a scenario would play out in reality. |
