At least it seems like she apologized though to clear the air a bit. Good to know they made it out of that mess or it could of turned into something more nasty. Overall, a fun series I guess. Wasn't too fond of the second half and I kinda wish there were more chapters. Meh ending. |

| Hard to say that this series wasn't cancelled or something like that judging from the ending. I really liked the first half of the story, but the second half was quite abrupt. At least it didn't end in negative tone. |
| Art was amazing, and story would have been better if longer. Ever Green falls into the unfortunate category that "it would be better if it were longer." More padding between the first half and second, and more dialogue/inner torture involving Hotaka and Niki would have made this pretty damn good. The twist was not out of nowhere, but could have been introduced better. The ending was just... eh. I felt kinda pissed that it ended on such a mundane note after being dramatic for a while. Worth the read, but I will forever remember how much better it could have been, because the artist and author are extremely talented. |

| This was sad,the ending is. damn it could've been better if it was longer. -,- I wished theyd do another chapter just to see what would happen 5/10 years from now 'coz I really want Hotaka and Niki together :< and to think that the author was the same author of hit romance novel/anime series' Toradora and Golden Time,and for it to be axed? Ugh :'( |

| I had a feeling the ending was going to be something like this to avoid any 'incest' issues, like OreImo. Still, this was a pretty disappointing end. It's still good to see Hotaka and Niki are on good terms again but it's still lacking closure. Hotaka and Niki are basically acting as strangers again and just hiding the fact that they're related. It does feel like this series got the ax, sadly. I still had a great time reading this series for the past few years. Overall: 7/10 |

| At least it didn't end on a negative point. It's nice to have a semi-positive ending these days. But that's about the only positive. I mean the random spirit of their dad, being lead to safety, trying to take some kind of meaning out of how things turned out, etc. Really abrupt and certainly reflects a cancelled manga. At least it wasn't a tragedy ending I guess. |

| Well, I will readily admit that I was wrong about them being siblings... However, I totally don't get his mother saying she "looks like him", since they don't really look alike at all... maybe I'm missing something. I think that it is clear at the end that Hotaka is going to stay by Niki's side regardless of their sibling relationship. Sure, he may step aside if she gets married, but somehow I expect that the two of them won't. I get the feeling that they will be together, even if they are not "together", you know what I mean?I wasn't thrilled with the ending, but I did like the tie in with the title. He had always compared Niki to the sun, and the "sun and rain" that brings life, but no blossoms is an interesting analogy to how their relationship will work. He will watch over her, protect her, love her, but there will be no blossoms or fruit (children), just a life that is nourished and healthy and... Evergreen. Yeah... I like the analogy. But my initial reaction at the end was "That's all?!?!" ... and I still wish she was his step-sister and they could just be together! |

| Certainly for a long time I'll think this manga had great potential, but I think it was not altogether tapped, otherwise could be one of the best manga I've ever read Or I wanted at least that the end would be more explained and shown how relations have developed a little more, well, I thought excellent the first half, but then only showed the disillusionment of the protagonist couple and a final rather vague, certainly I expected more of this manga, or at least a grand and sentimental end to finish it I think the relationship that the characters will take the following is left to the reader's imagination, so that each one imagine will be as Niki and Hotaka from now on, I particularly would not mind them still keep in a hidden romantic relationship .. |

| Cant write a good romance story? No worries ,throw in some incest in it for good measure to add that drama and tension you are desperately seeking and you've got yourself your story. Don't forget the half assed comedy thrown into the mix whenever a situation get's to serious (because we cant have that! no way) I still cant believe this author wrote Toradora, between this and Golden Time its just a cesspool of absolute trash... |

| It's nice that they patched their relationship up, but it sucks that they didn't get together. Although I can't really be sure of that. The last page kind of implies their relationship could just be hidden. Or it could imply they didn't want to tell everyone they're brother and sister. I'm verging on 7/10 and 8/10. |

| This entire series was a huge blow to me... First few chapters were great. Loved the whole premise behind it and loved the two main characters. Really thought this was going to be a promising rom manga, especially with the writer of Toradora behind it. But then the shit hit the fan and all that was good got flushed down the drain. At first I really thought the both of them losing their dads would have made a good bond between the two and strengthen their relationship. Then the whole sister-brother thing happened. Honestly, the moment that happened I knew for a fact the relationship between the two was a goner. The ending pretty much wrapped up the entire shit show of the second half of the story. I really had high hopes for this going in so seeing how the story turned out had to be one of the biggest let downs ever. Wish I never picked this up in the first place... |

| to be honest, this manga went from 100 to 0 real quick. when i see they’re kissing in the festival without any development beforehand. i knew something will be weird, seeing they’re lovey dovey all the sudden gives me a sort of death flag. their relationship is so weak, it’s only based on “iam having the same past as him, so i feel closer” and thats it. but i get it, it feels like they’re having a connection, they’re yearning for the same thing, and they though they can fill each other. but i love how mad is Niki, i love how they depict it so emotionally bad, like mental breakdown bad. but then again, after some time, it just went back to normal so fast. they really rushed this manga to be honest. i though the story will be better if Niki is the girl that will opened his heart towards redemption of his regret. but this is also good. but come on man, it can get better, oh well that’s that now i’m really sad because this beautiful artstyle, who has a potential to be at least a good read turn out to be like well, a pretty decent. nvm 7/10, can be better, but i still liked it, and on-chan is cute, i love how free spirited she was. and i hoped it ended with brother-sister healthy relationship, please. |

| I found this on a random occasion and absolutely loved the cover. Until halfway through chapter 16, I was going to give this a 9/10. After 16... Well I don't really know what to think about it. I knew the truth from the moment that grandma said that there were 2 keys... And I'm not a fan of incest either, but... I really wanted them to be together. All the chapters until 16 made me get so attached to them, I... I don't know. It's just hard to think. Why couldn't they have just made it a normal romance... The way everything suddenly changed was so abrupt... And that firefly being the father? I didn't get that either, it was so random... I wish it was longer. Much longer, so that I could truly understand their feelings after chapter 16. But it'll never come true, I guess. I'll settle with a 9. The ending was appropriate, but the buildup to the ending was not good. The rest was absolutely beautiful. |

| that was bad, i'm speechess, this story could be potential for good material and ended just like this was so bad that make me want to rate 1/10. damn it, it was intense development and twist and wonder how the story will end up but this kind of endind is destroy the whole series. I expecting atleast they could end up to incest route to be honest. |

| A story of a mutual love from interest with misunderstandings that grow them closer, until an abrupt twist of accidental incest with guilt that gets somewhat resolved peacefully with the supernatural help of their father's spirit... terrible development. Worse, with unexplained relations from On x Soga, Hotaka x Niki, ended with a horrible open-ending ... fucking disappointing. 4/10. What a waste. |
