| Wow, that episode was awesome. I thought the first ep was good, but this was even better. I especially liked the end with the girl in the wheel chair looking out the window and turning away, with the music playing over the other character's reactions. Well done scene. |

| We got quite a bit of interesting characters, lots of designs that stand out, even if some of them aren’t relevant I wish more shows would give the background characters this amount of detail. And damn those flip phones man, that’s how you know this came out in 2004 lol, one of my favorite things about watching older shows is seeing the tech from the time, and I’m old enough to remember flip phones so it’s pretty nostalgic. Also that one girl being on her phone in class, the more things change the more they stay the same lol. And the end of this one was quite intense, was not expecting Mai’s brother to be nearly devoured by something like that lol, I’m betting this is just a taste of what this show has to offer, I gotta say they got me hooked now, I’m excited for the next episode. |
