As for the person who set that trap, I think it was that doctor guy that is shown on television a lot. I think his name is Ogura or something. :/ Can't remember. |

Who'd do that ? and what with the ghoul restaurant :I Is there something like that out their and the CCD doesn't know about ? anyhow, the gourmet isn't fool so that someone like Kaneki can investigate him. We also knew about the other "one-eyed" ghoul and that he's a psycho who loves human flesh. -_- and there will be a lot of people who will mistaken Kaneki for him. It was well explained why A ghoul and A human can't have a baby. |

| I definitely found Rize's death suspicious from the very beginning. I actually thought that Kaneki had purposely led her there, knowing the rope was loose or something. This is definitely an interesting turn. The one-eyed ghoul was also interesting. The only way I could imagine a ghoul/human fetus surviving in those circumstances would be if the mother was a human and ate human meat during her pregnancy. Then again, she'd have to eat food other than meat to stay alive, and those other foods might be toxic to the fetus. An interesting idea, nonetheless. The genetics don't really make sense. I've never heard that a liger is superior to both lions an tigers. You generally think half-breeds are weaker, like with InuYasha. There are recessive genes when put together give you a terrible disease, but if you are only a character they hold an evolutionary advantage, like with sickle celled anemia. I guess it's a combination of the two? Superior in some aspects (powers), but weak in others (ravenous appetite). I have a feeling that this means our Kaneki is going to have people coming for his head every now and again, and perhaps Gourmet is one of those people. I think it would be best for Kaneki to sit this out. He should worry more about his life then sating his curiosity. Stay away from the Gourmet. |

| It seems that she's a competent informant, given that her job is partly chatting with many patrons about a lot of topics. Half Ghouls are confirmed to be a lot stronger than the average Ghoul and that accident turned out to be more than a coincidence. The situation with crossbreed Ghoul babies is pretty sad. Artificial half-Ghoul production is already complicated enough but naturally born crossbreeds must be on another level. Itori's gonna tell more of the story if Kaneki proceeds to continue the story himself? Nice deal indeed~ |

| Great chapter with lots of information. I really like Itori but I don't completely trust her. I like the dynamic between Ren and Uta. I don't like how Yoshimura didn't tell Kaneki about this. I'm sure the old man means well but he's being overly passive. It reminds me of the 3rd Hokage from Naruto. |
| Only old men are anteiku manager and the doctor. the story seems to be grounded still and doesn't explore outside the 20th ward. good story, nothing to make it great yet. |
