Joined the club to say thanks for mentioning Kaiji, never heard of it until now and it looks great.

My favourite three right now would be Hyouka, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita and Shirobako. Enjoyable, well executed shows. I don't think they're the best anime out there though.

Hyouka doesn't look half bad actually, it looks interesting. I might check it out.

Is Initial D really that good? I've never bothered with it, but I always see it in the top anime.

I'd have to start from Stage One though, and the animation quality doesn't exactly look up to standards.

1.) Code Geass- Great art, the English dub was done fairly well, spectacular ending and characters, with the sound track to boot. Despite its flaws. Especially within its second season. I consider this anime to be the closest thing to a perfect master piece of an anime that I have seen to date.

2.) Baccano!- The best things about this anime defiantly comes from its English dub. And its amazing, zany cast of characters. From the good to the bad. And a main character in this series is never really identified. The English voice actors really take on good, and believable accents for there time. Sense Baccano! Is set in like 1930 ish america. And without the amount of interesting and exciting characters that they did. It would not have been the same. I defiantly think anyone who doesn't mind gore should defiantly check it out.

3.) Fate/Zero- An anime with a very interesting battle royal concept. With great development for all of their character's. Even if it takes a while to get to them, or some end up more sad than others. Everyone in this sires gets their time to shine and I really loved that aspect. And it got me more invested into the characters. But, what truly stands out about this anime is defiantly the animation...My god. I have no idea how much money they could have possibly have gotten. But you could tell they wanted to show off how much money they had in this anime. This, along with UBW have some of the most beautiful and fluid animation for action scenes I have ever seen. Like, I can barely think of anything that can compare really.

(There are plenty of other anime that I love, or find to be master pieces. But those are just my favorites that first come to mind. Also, this is purely opinion.)

The animation quality from stage one looks dated ... But fight scenes make up for it, they use cg graphics for that.

Hmm..tough one.

In no particular order.

- Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann - Single most epic thing I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

- Baka and Test - Single most hilarious thing I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

- Angel Beats - Single most emotional thing I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

There are plenty of others, I just picked three at random.

Stop. Calm yourself. You're an idiot.

Angel Beats was so sad, I almost cried at the end. I need to rewatch it.
