| I don't really understand the characters'...sympathy? understanding? of Ruri. There is a difference between being a Dullahan, not understanding human emotion, having superhuman strength, and BEING A SERIAL KILLER. |

Dullahans are considered evil monsters in Irish lore that take the souls anyone unlucky enough cross paths with them. They aren't human nor do they have human emotions. They are a textbook monster. The point however is that both Celty and Ruri abnormal beings who ordinarily should not be able to live in the bounds of human society because of that, but Celty who is a complete monster was eventually able to do it. That represented hope for Ruri who realized then that she can live with the fact that she is monster, but it's not impossible to find some happiness and normalcy in spite of that. Basically she is not alone as an outcast. |

From what I gathered from watching season one, a Dullahan is kind of a grim reaper like figure of Irish lore, but it isn't something inherently sinister. My point was that Ruri is going around murdering people. I don't get why that is something Celty or Shizuo's brother find acceptable? Her version of being a "monster" isn't the same as some of the other oddities in Ikebukuro. (I realize she has supernatural aspects to her, but I am focusing on the murder part). |

Takuan_Soho already covered what I was going to say, but another bit on this point, Ikebukuro has all kinds of oddities some which like Saika has killed plenty of times because of their natures in the past. Even Celty killed people when she was just a Dullahan. So this isn't a reason to differentiate Ruri from them in that aspect. |

| I was excited for Ruri's story from the beginning part but as the episode went on ... I didn't like it :( So she's got a bit of "supernatural" to her and she considers herself a "monster"? I was hoping she actually WOULD be a crazy murderer but no of course she isn't ... *sigh* So yeah, really didn't like her and Shizuo's brother getting together too OTL Not to mention that whole Hollywood storyline was pretty (dully) concluded ... boring >_< Crazy Shinra and his dad and then the twin kiss ... oh my. Twincest has been all the rage recently, eh? Then they meet up with Walker and Erika who I suppose are on their way to meet Aoba and Anri and Mikado ... hmm, will we have a huge congregation next episode? :O |
| Oh, that's how it all connects. The first person Shizuo brought up to the air was in fact Hollywood. Damn, Hollywood is actually a girl named Ruri Hijiribe. Yuuhei gets apprehended, but then he explains himself, thus leading to kisses. It also leads to Kyohei saving Kururi and Mairu. Celty then brings Ruri home safely. The second person Shizuo threw in the air was Egor. He's brought to the Russians. Egor was in charge of getting Ruri for Shingen. Then Shinra sees Shiki. Mikado, on the other hand, gets surrounded by the Yellow Scarves. Damn, I wonder what will happen next. |

| THE TWIN KISSU. It was sort of expected to happen sooner or later. I'd expect nothing less from that family I guess. I'm digging the new characters and the way the episodes are cut up and given to us is as great as ever. Really look forward to the next episode. |

| well, seems like the fanservice of the twins really worked to get mainstream moe-lovers and yuri-perv audience. But as a characters, they can be useful at some point. with the excess of new characters, the time for resolution of simple scenes became too slow, and broke the suspense. In the first season it was ok, wasn't much forced... |

But I do wonder what exactly it is that makes her a *monster*? You know, besides the fact that shes a psychopath who rips people apart...lol. |

| man I just love Ikebukuro. That city is just full of life. And I like how the story revolves around all of them. Whatever happens everyone is affected lol. Though, of course, it has been that way since season 1. I just wish Anri and Mikado should just get over it and bang. And Celty, just marry Shinra already. twin kiss = I'm not amused |
