| Zane: I walk into the city, Hecate slithering along beside me. I still use my staff to help me walk, although I no longer need it. The city is filled with people, and I immediately feel as though all of them are staring at me, although it is more likely that none of them are. I quickly adjust the gloves that cover the pentagram scars on my hands, and I feel extremely conscious of the one on my forehead. I wish I could cover it, but my hair is not long enough. I sigh. Maybe someone /will/ recognize me. Maybe they can tell me about my life. That wouldn't be a terrible thing. |
