| I just received Sankarea tankouban 11. It contains the final four chapters and a special short chapter called "Shiromabito", with an English second title of "Sankarea If". It's a short shaggy dog story. Let's just say that it could be called "The Power of the Penis"... Sen manga has a raw scan of the story now. |

| The little girl looked like a mix between Mero and Rea, and the boy looked like a light haired Furuya. Offspring perhaps? And it's nice to see that Rea's making ample use of her time in the woods, lel. |
| People in the Chinese forums say that those are grandchildren of Ranko and Chihiro. 1. For me, the boy's personality reminds of Ranko and the girl's hair style reminds me of Mero. These are grandchildren though so maybe Chihiro's, Ranko's and Mero's children married and have grandchildren who resemble them. The boy = Chihiro + Ranko. The girl = ??? + Mero. 2. After closely observing the children's and Rea's appearances.... there's a chance that those two children are Rea's. The flower petal Rea always wear is still there and the boy has one on his hair too. Rea's new appearance seems to include a ribbon that's tied up exactly like the girl's ribbons. So then when Rea asks them to say hello to their grandmother for her, it might actually mean Rea's own stepmother, Aria Sanka. But then I'm not sure if a zombie can get pregnant... So... yeah, I guess the author really means it when he says he wants the readers to have their own interpretations of the ending and the special extra chapter in vol. 11. Rea's still alive after all these years.... while we have no clue how everyone else is doing.... Really, this series has been bringing up the issue of not everything/everyone will last forever. Everything that has a beginning has an end. It's sad but you must let it go. I don't know why, but seeing Babu go is extremely sad for me. Same for the last page of the special extra chapter. PS: The hype for Sankarea has gone down. But I'll always remember this series. | ^just finished reading, thx for translated version of you Rea said "tell your grandmother I said hi" so I think the two kids are either child of Mero or Ranko. Well I just want to think that Chihiro and Rea ended up together even though they can't have a child. |

Note that she said grandmother though. Rea didn't really know anyone's parents that well so the logical assumption would be these two kids as the grandchildren of Chihiro and ???. There can also be mixed relationships between the children of Chihiro and others. |

Rea would be alone in the cave then. But again, this is only one side of the interpretation. Some people have also made up some scenarios where Furuya is alive and well. It's up to you to choose the ending. That's what the author wanted the readers to do anyway. |
