| Hello, my name is Hope and I'm a high school student in my final year and I plan to join college next year. I watch anime of any genre and my favorite being slice of life and action.Though both are antithetical, I still find myself enjoying both. I'm still new to light novels and have started reading them only recently.I also read some manga but mostly as a continuation to some anime series. |

Lets see, i like romance anime a lot, but i try most genre. I stay away from ecchi and harem a lot tho. Slice of life anime makes me smile! I read manga a fair amount. | Helloo I'm Red (or Rin or Ace or like 5 other nicknames feel free to call me anything really) uh I really like anime and manga though I haven't gotten too much into manga (as far as my paycheck allows me pretty much). I like most genres and I'm open to any recommendations you've got! Besides that, I like comic books and video games and movies and I used to love sports before I got sick and stuck in a wheelchair. | Hiiiii! My name is Johanne, but you can call me whatever (in the anime/manga community I'm usually known as Yumi) I'm 18 and I come from Denmark. I'm just gonna apologize in advance for stupid grammar and spelling mistakes T.T I used to be crazy about anime and manga, but the last four years I kinda pushed it aside because of school and dancing. But now I'm back, eager to check out all the new stuff! I suck at watching the same anime for a long time. For example I've watched about 350 episodes of Naruto two times, but I always end up getting distracted. And when I decide to pick it up again, I HAVE to restart the whole thing (restarted Naruto last week, there's a looong way to go) Same thing happened with Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I am one of those people who are obsessed with Game of Thrones, but I have not read the books yet. Go on, hate me, but please don't spoil if you read it! :D I talk a lot.. sorry.. |

| All right so the Hib-Factor will give this club a chance. I've been joining new clubs the last 3 or 4 months searching for clubs that make content I'll actually post on, I don't bother with spam games and only regularly active on my fall 2014 anime discussion thread in the anime guild and vote for girl of the month in the harem club. As for me I'm a college student who likes hard-rock, power metal, some techno, and sports besides anime. I'm also a 10+ year MMO veteran. I'm a pretty soft grader on anime but if the anime does something pretty bad or has flaws up the butt I will eat into it pretty hard. Generally though I'm a pretty nice guy...so I'm told -.^. |

| yo. I also do some martial arts, actually. I'm taking a Shotokan Karate class at my university and I'm going to start doing it in our club soon. Still pretty unskilled though |

| That's interesting. Karate is really enjoyable. The class (and the sensei's dojo) has this sense of attention and rigor that I've attached to the concept of learning a martial art. Martial arts train the mind and the body, and that sense of 'becoming stronger' is so fulfilling. Karate is a martial art which is about hitting, rather than grabs and throws as in Judo or Ju-Jutsu. So that's kind of really fun and exhilarating, but it also makes it harder to actually do training exercises against opponents, because everything is intended to seriously damage your opponent. I have a friend in Ju-Jutsu (or something of the sort) and his techniques are more grapple-based, so they can practice on each other more openly without fear of real damage. I totally want him to kick me over winter break when we see each other though xD. Also I'm kind of in love with the side thrust kick. What's kendo like? (we can move this to social chat if you want... or not >,>) |
