anime is ok , but i had a feeling it could have been so much better ... I hoped they all find out about kamito being ren ashbell ... but it didnt happen ... i hope we get season 2 , so we can see more of kamito past ... I herad the story just gets better from the point they ended season 1 ...

The anime pretty much adapted only the prologue of the series, so of course the main plot would be much better than the introduction.

i mean i feel like this is ZnT couple years later and i love it but i guess other people didn't i mean i loved it through all 12 episodes ..

(I have read the Light Novel all until volume 12) I just love it.
If there's a second season, I hope to see an improvement. Actually, in terms of plot, the second season would be better than the first one.

The only problem I see with the anime is the art. It's TOO "Kaiwaii", it should at least have a little bit of a "darker" style. The art would not fit the anime if there was a season 2.
Also, I prefer that Fiana's hair to be Dark purple-ish or simply black.

Here's the problem with the series in general, it starts SO slow! Honestly, the first 3 volumes are considered as a prologue and, in this anime, these 12 EPISODES are the adaptation of those 3 volumes meaning that THE ANIME ITSELF IS JUST A PROLOGUE. That's about 240 MINUTES for a prologue! But, hey I think I spent even more time reading those 3 volumes.
In the first 3 volume, almost everything is about fan-service and, apart from the fact that the characters and events involving Jio Inzagi and Velsaria leaded to the creation of "Team Scarlet", the events and characters still feel irrelevant (Not until volume 12).

Honestly, this show just left a hole inside of me and I hope to see a second season to fill that hole up.

Hi there everyone ! ^-^

I finished the Anime today. And as I heard it was kind of a prologue, it seems only legitimate to hope for a second season. And I actually found out, that on the latest japanese Blue-Ray of the series, there is a trailer to season two :) and that there will be a total of 6 OVAs containing side stories with Restia and all other female characters with kamito. But as the information with the trailer was only translated by a fan, but given an actual japanese source, I hope for the best. If you are interested in the source, here is actually the quotation, it is in German, because I am a German native speaker, but I think you can despite read some data or see the link for the official webside of blade dance ;) :

" Hallo, es wird natürlich eine 2 Staffel geben. Grund: http://www.bladedance.tv/news/

auf der Blue Ray die erst JETZT kommt ist als Extra der Trailer zur 2 Staffel zu sehen.

DIe 2 Staffel wird aber wahrscheinlich auch nur 12 Episoden beinhalten.

Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen!"

I really hope there would be another season. But I'm not sure if it'll happen. To be honest, I kinda dislike this anime. From the start, Blade Dance has been introduced, and that was what I was hoping for, turns out this was just the prologue.

3 Volumes of prologue for the LN, I'm not sure how I feel about that either. But I really want to see what happens after that.

If there's going to be a 2nd season, I really hope they improve the animation though. The fighting scenes in this anime were kinda rough.

The plot is more engaging in LN...

Given the horrible sales, we won't see season two. It's common sense.

So let's just keep following LN.
