| This MAL forum threads for this manga is a complete mess. The official English release has two prologues and one epilogue so the actually chapter this should be on is chapter 3. It will limit discussion for this manga, which is a shame because Inio Asano's work is ripe for discussion. I'm not too disappointed because I just don't like this manga that much. This manga is spending so much effort in keeping up the mystery that it prevents these chapters from having any actual impact. |

Well, the epilogue is at the end, so this is actually chapter 4 (the official release also labels it as such). I'm just checking each off as I go. That includes the prologues so I don't get confused. So far, it looks like the discussion is on track, at least (though it is pretty limited). Anyway, I read the scanlation of this years ago and was suuuuper confused. I'm enjoying this a lot more on a re-read with the official english release. I'm also taking notes as I read, which could be part of it. There's a lot of jumping around in time so I highly recommend at least keeping track of names. I wish I didn't have to do so, but it makes the reading experience much easier. Now that i'm looking at my notes, I think the story has been fairly straightforward up until this point, but if my memory is correct, things take a weird turn later so I hope that I can still follow it when I get there. |
