I really wish he would be given the chance finish something other than a one-shot. |

| Can't really say much about the ending (the "another adventure awaits" ending) I reckon it was a tad too technical with all the science stuff. But that guy got some pretty cool ideas. Love the main character's pure and laid back attitude. |

Ya the "I saved the world and am now free" was alright but than have it for like in the next few days another "cirsis" will happen that could destroy the world again.. zzz. They should have had a "After 10 years" or something. Although I have to admit that the story itself was actually pretty good. I was sceptical at the start when they made him destroy an entire army unit but atleast it was a one shot because it would be hard to balance that out.. |

| I really loved it. Such a great one shot and the artwork was very beautiful. I enjoyed it too. I love the main character. He's so laid back, yet he's very emotional when he saw his friend died. The ending was great. |
| I've liked some of Naoshi's oneshots, but reading this, I found it to be very generic for him. The characters especially were cute, but mostly uninteresting. The only thing I really liked about Apple was the art, which has improved, but is worse in an aspect that I think affects the attention his works get-it's overly detailed and has poor organization of panels, with all the intricate line art making it harder to follow the story. It's a pity, because Naoshi has some very wonderful stories, certainly making him a gem among the artists of shounen manga. |
| I hear a lot of people talking about wanting Double Arts to continue here, even though this is about the manga Apple. :P I liked Apple as a one shot, the mangaka has a knack if delivering original, amusing story lines with both humor, drama and action. He should do more stuff. |
| This was a nice oneshot. Gives very pleasant feeling while reading. Main hero is light-hearted and cautionless, but he brings up important topics as happiness and friendship. The art also was great. |
