Sorry to disappoint you but we probably will not be getting a new season for a while. The manga is moving wayyyyy too slow, it's still on the third players match of the semifinals, so the semis aren't even halfway done since saki and Nodokas match tend to be a lot longer. At the pace it's going, MAYBE the semis can be animated in 2016, and the finals a couple years after that. Not to mention that the individuals are still to come, plus it was hinted for a World Cup arc during the combined training camp. Saki is far from over!

It would be very stupid for the whole franchise to end the anime after this season, when there's a Side-B semi-final and the final left to go on.

RWBY Club. RWBY is anime. Deal with it.

For the love of God. I'm in episode 10, and they still didn't make it to the semi-finals with only 3 episodes left. And now you tell me that manga is moving super slow. Bah, we should probably get another season in a couple of year seasons.

I'm hoping they do one about the prequel while we wait for the manga to get father ahead.

I'm still hoping for split-cours.

Probably will be more seasons for the finals and World Cup (?). Because the manga really is slow, we're mostly likely to get the next season the end of next year (?).

It took over 4 years for the first season to get a sequel, disregarding Achiga-hen in between. I definitely won't be expecting a new season any time soon, especially with how slow the manga series is. Perhaps they'll adapt Saki Biyori or Shinohayu: Dawn of Age later on.

Saki have a strong cult following after all.

That was only because of the several injure that suffered the mangaka and the reason for the hiatus in the manga until a few months, Ritz was present in the animation of the first anime and also in Zenkoku-hen (Side-A probably too).

And regarding of the subject, yeah, Saki is still one of the most popular mangas in Japan after all, so obviously there will be more anime, is only a matter of time.

Achiga-hen bought more time before Zenkoku-hen had to be made. The anime-original scenes in Zenkoku-hen also contributed to what otherwise would have been a short cours. Given that Kiyosumi's semi-final is only halfway finished in the manga, it will be some time before they are ready to make a direct continuation.

However, depending on how the Shinohayu manga progresses, we may get another spin-off series before that next season.

The sales for this show are horrendously bad. There will be no third season.

You have a seriously warped concept of 'horrendously bad'.

Goodness. I'l probably have to watch all 3 seasons (spinoff included) before the sequel comes out. Not to mention I rarely remembered the charas when I started watching this season. Meh, great series overall though. Gotta love that monster Saki. :)

unless something happens to the manga and it never gets finished then absolutely yes it will get more seasons.

dont listen to the idiots spewing doom and gloom although it will take a really long time at the rate the manga is going
