| Higher.... i need to get higher... The sound of the guard from inside tell me that my party guests are fast approaching "Crown Prince... please stop these shenanigans" I turn around and stick out my tongue before turning right and jumping through the open window. I land on one of the walls and start climbing up the spire "Sire! Come down, your mother will have your head for this!" the guard sticks his head out of the window but cannot get out with the heavy armor he has on "Tell her you can't cage a bird!" I jump from one spire to the next as I head higher and higher up the castle I have grown in and have found every area and how to climb up every tower "Just let him go george" A young maid walks down the hall towards the guards "But.." The captain tried to argue "Like he said, you can't cage a bird" Higher! I need to get... here I hold tightly to the flag, I have finally reached my destination, the top of the tower. I stare out to the city below, the sun now peaking over the wall "One day.. i will cross that wall" |

| "Ugh, can you get him karen?" The captain asks "Hai hai" The maid politely bows before heading to the window "Lennox..." "ITS LEON!" I yell back "Your father needs to see you" I jump down and time it perfectly so i grab the ledge below the window and pull myself back up "You doing that is causing me to lose years" "Please, you don't look a day over 20" "Flattery cannot keep me from telling your mother." I laugh as I head towards the throne room where my father and mother and sitting "Glad for you to join us Lennox" "Its... nevermind, what is it that you need from me papa" The king gets down from his throne and pats my shoulders before kissing my forehead, causing me to back up a little "You are getting married" ..... "What?" |

| "Honey that's extremely blunt, subtly not one of your strong points" My mother, the queen gets up from her throne and walks over to me "I wish you wouldn't wear this, the colors are so clashing, I could easily make you the same outfit with better colors" "Not again mama, but besides the point... I'm getting married?!" My mother and father look at each other and smile "Yes lennox, you are getting married... to the princess of the mythological creatures" "Its a political marriage but i hope that you two will get along" I'm getting married?.... another cage..... |

| "Don't I have a say in this?" "No" "Honey, we really need to work on your responses, but yes lennox, you do not have a say. I wish we could but just go with it" "Ugh... fine" I leave the throne room and head towards my room, karen is inside. "So you heard the news sire" "Why do I have to karen-nee" "Its for the good of the kingdom" I see how she has an outift waiting for me "Why should I change, if I'm getting married why not show who I am and not some powdered up facade?" "Because your mother made this outfit, and its the same as your old just with different colors" Karen-nee smiles as she folds out my outfit, the same I am wearing but with a blue with gold accented hoodie and black with gold accented pants with blue shoes. I put on my new outfit and head towards the throne room again "See i told you this new outfit looks good" My mother retorts with a proud smile |

| a carriage had arrived, one that defiantly didnt look like the human carriages, this one had the mythical beings flag on it. the driver got off and opened the door, the king first got out, then the queen, then finally princess ceres. they had their royal guards around the carriage and ceres personal guard with her |
| "SIRE! The guests have arrived!" The hearld proclaims, all of the guards stand at attention, along with the maids behind them with karen-nee close to me. "Don't forget your crown" My father whispers as I attach my personal crown to my sleeve (like in no game no life) "Please enter!" The king proclaims as the giant doors slowly open |

| the king and queen walk in first, in their royal formal attire "queen and king of mythical kingdom and their daughter princess Ceres" the king and queen step aside, Ceres comes into their view, she was in a beautiful dress |
| I look up for a second but quickly use the cowl of my jacket to hide my mouth since it was turning red. Karen nee say this and had a cat like grin as she poked my side, causing me to wave her off. My father and mother stand and after facing me for a second we all bow towards our guests. The king and queen soon take their seat on their thrones "welcome guests to merciall" |

| "Thank you, i believe the two should should be in a courting period, but they should not reveal it to the pubic until later. This may help improve the relationship between the two" My mother adds "My wife is right, a courting period should be added. Then we shall reveal the couple in... say a month?" I cough lightly before looking back at the girl, she is very beautiful and looks to be my age, but she has wings. How I wish I could fly |

| "that sounds alright. shall we leave our daughter with you for that period of time?" the king said lightly pushing Ceres in front of them |
| "I believe it would be best if your daughter stays with us for 15 days then our son stays with you for 15 days. That way both can learn how the other lives, but the two are forbidden from revealing this to anyone aside from us and both cannot take the relationship farther than kissing." my mother looks at me and I look away but she notices my face and smiles lightly |

| without saying a word Ceres goes completely red and looks down "of course, then we have reached an agreement" they bow their heads and wave their guards to bring her bags Ceres turns and sees "m-mother? f-father?" |
| "Wait..." I turn to my parents "She is already moving in?" My father turns to me "Yes... and she's living in your room" "Surprise" "EHHHHH?!" |

| "im sorry darling but we must go now" "no mum dad please" she was clinging onto her dad, the human guards take her and hold her back "im sorry" they leave "mum....dad...." |
| "don't you think this is kinda... messed up?" Some guards hold her and I run up and have them release her "How can you expect us to accept this so easily?" |

| Ceres takes a deep breathe and then turns around |
| I look at her but quickly turn away and hid under my cowl "Are you sure you're ok with this?" |

| "yes.....i wish to be alone for a few minutes...is there a place i can go?" |
| "y...yeah i can show you to it" I motion for her to follow and as we pass the throne I shoot my parents a pissed look "Theres a room meant for studying, up can use this" I take her to my personal library and let her in before closing the door Talk about a rough first day |

| I sit at the door, the faint sound of her crying slowly breaks my heart but at the moment I can't think of anything to say I'm sorry |

| she sat on the floor and just let it all out before she grew exhausted of crying, she went quiet as she just laid there on the carpet, her wings stretched out on the floor |
| I don't know when she stopped crying, but I went at some point and got her something to eat and drink but I left it outside the door and sat back down "I brought you something to eat and drink if you'd like... and ... yeah.... I think your wings are very beautiful" I look out at the dusk sky and reach out I would love to have wings, I could fly away and reach the clouds above |

| she gets up, wipes her eyes and makes sure she looks ok. she dusted herself off and opens the door "thank you..you may come in now" |
| I open the door and cover her head, making sure she is ok as I head towards the window "The hell was that?" |

| "Why the hell are they here? Papa should have taken care of this" I close the blinds and move over, bring in the food and close the door "We are gonna stare in here for a minute, sorry for making this such a stressful first meeting but we need to stay in here while my parents handle this" |

I move over to one of the shelves and move it in front of the door just to be safe "I don't know what they want but it's just to be safe." |

| The king and queen enter the throne room as the group enters "What in the flat earth is the meaning of this?" The king angrily asks as the men enter, the king putting on a robe since he was asleep |

| Ceres goes to the corner of the room and sits, she wraps her wings around her just leaving her head and upper body open |
| I sit next to her and grab her hand, but turn my head away to cover my red blushing "S..s...since we are... enga..engaged I need to make sure my.....well make sure you are ok" |

| Tyrus: "We have news which are quite important. Duke Allan di Hohenzoller, duke of the northern lands, is stiring up a rebellion. For now he has neither the quantity nor the quality to be a threat, but this can change very quick. I came here to ask in which way it should be handled. We could send in the spearhead and kill them all, send in an inquisitor and guards to arrest them, let the lord 'disappear', you could send the royal army, you could send for him and ask him yourself, or leave the matter until we got a civil war." |

| The king pinches his nose and thinks "plant a spy and wait, catch him making a statement or a notice, anything against the crown.. when he does arrest him and bring him to me, then set up a new temp duke to take control and wane out the rebellion." The king looked at the captain and added "set up spies across the lands as well, make sure talk of rebellion ends at the base" |

| she looked up at him since he was holding her hand and sitting close to her, she wrapped her wings around the both of them "thanks" |
| Tyrus: "We already have spies in every village of the kingdom. Also we know about the rebellion because of a statement he did in presence of a spy. We will send in guards to capture him. Also... If I may ask, why were the royal family of the mythical beasts here?" EDIT: Changed it, sorry I forgot it xD |
