There was even a running joke in japanese 2ch that to defeat an enemy, all you have to do is ask Jeanne to try and protect the enemy (seriously everyone she tries to protect gets killed) Well buddy complex is worth a watch imo, to watch Bizon (same VA as Mitsu) go crazy due to being NTR-ed Mahou sensou was utter rubbish but Mui was cute Well Mitsu not having a song can be considered additional suffering i guess.. I wonder what Ichi and Caesar would do if they had survive to the end? would they go back to the west star to Caesars territory and rule it together, or would they remain in the East star and open a chocolate/sweets shop and run it together? Personally i think they would go back the west, im sure Ichi would be curious about the west star culture and Caesars homeland (i dont think she would be pleased to run into his old lovers though) Which brings something to mind.. when Ichi agreed to marry caesar in ep 12 and the crack in the west star appeared, it seemed that the place that collapsed in the west resembled Rome, or is it my imagination |

That right there is enough to watch. XD LOL Yeah, I see the high scores that anime got... That is true, it could be for Mitsu. XD LOL I do believe that Caesar & Ichi would go to the West Star. After all, he does have a house there... unless it got destroyed... I agree, Ichi would be curious, she gave me the impression that she really was a curious girl (nope, she definitely wouldn't, that's for sure. And I'm sure there would be plenty of them...) When I first saw that, the first thing I thought of was Rome! It really did look like it. But hard to say as a lot of the Western Star charas are Italian (you could almost call the West Star Italy/Rome (even Arthur in legends was said to be of Roman descent) and then you have Greek Alexander, and the architecture isn't much different. So I don't know... I think Sakurai doesn't do character songs... But I'm not sure. LOL, that could be the reason too. Haha, yeah, the "extremely popular" Mitsu. XD Well, he is talked about a lot! | Hmm, I think Ichi would definitely be interested in her hubby's homeland. I also think Caesar would be considerate enough to let Ichi decide where they will live XD. It looks Greek to me but they do have similar architectures. Why do they troll him so much LOL... Going back to what you said Ichi and Caesar definitely needed character songs. They do help us understand what they were thinking and they cemented Ichi X Caesar. I can see why people who haven't read the character songs are confused and wonder if Ichi loved Caesar in the end. The show just didn't have enough screen time for them. |

| Yeah, she'll pout alright. I have no idea either. There wasn't much to the monkey, he was more of a comic chara. I can enjoy Mitsu (his suffering), but Saru always just plain annoyed me. Yes! More fanfics! Yeah, a thread of the translations of them would be good. As I do believe they'll get lost here. Already has... XD Thanks. Yeah, it's obviously just her brother and important people she's referring to, and it's before she met Caesar (or the good side of him anyways). |

| Well, at least your hard work isn't going to waste XD. I think it also has to do with you being the only one translating since the fanbase is small. I barely got a chance to watch ep21 on a decent sized TV. I gotta say I love the small detail of having Ichi's eyes shake when she says "we finally meet again Caesar-dono". |

I really like some details of her expressions during the episodes.. like how she is clearly annoyed when he said he would call the love he would give everyone 'true love' ... i would conclude that she isnt happy he is going to love her as much as everything else, and i like how when Caesar was fighting Nobu and kept talking about equal love they gave us a shot of her looking miserable with her hair messed up too But i guess she has already fallen for him since ep 18 so ofc she isnt happy when he suddenly wants to love her equally as everything else.. no girl would want to hear that |

| Yeah, Mitsu's transparent, but still questionable. I will never understand how he equated Ichi's death to being Nobu's fault. Just based on him being the destroyer-king? It didn't make much sense. Ichihime was overcome with emotions all right. No, she sure didn't upon seeing Mitsu. XD She said she was happy to see him and then instantly asked about Caesar. LOL Mitsu does wallow in his pain. XD Cesare is pretty much the bane of almost every historic figure in this. LOL Oh, Ichi's definitely not happy about that. Oh, yeah, that shot was good. That's for sure. |

| meh Mitsu was the one who swore to protect here even if it meant spying and having his ninja girls reporting her activities to him, but when he failed ofc its easier to blame someone else... she isnt his property who he has a divine right to protect, but he acts like he is some kind of knight in shining armor (and fails miserably) The way he rescued her only for her to worry about Mitsu reminds me of the super mario game, i remember mario rescuing princess peach but she married the prince instead When she ran to him after he rescued her, it was her 'instinctive' reaction, but she then realized caesar didnt return and she probably realized her feelings for him then, after all her chara song mentions praying for someones safe return every day in caesars part, she probably had a epiphany about falling in love with him after ep 18 |

| Mitsu was spying on Ichi a lot through the use of ninjas, but he will never admit it. He was really a stalker and he still failed. Yeah, he acts like he's her great protector, but is just so much fail. Seriously it's been so long since I've seen someone fail as much at him, but still act like he's great. LOL Oh, really, that happened in that game? LOL XD It definitely was instinctive and Ichi is someone who will worry about everyone around her. I agree, she realized then that she was in love with Caesar when she was sad that he had not returned. |

| Alright, time to start a discussion I've been thinking about recently. Ichi's song makes it clear that she wants to be Caesar's home to return to and how she won't hesitate with her feelings anymore. Yet, she also says that the lingering scent won't fade in essence saying she will always have something towards Mitsu. I was reading a discussion on another board and someone was saying that the song basically means that she will always love Mitsu yet also loves Caesar. That it's about her loving both of them and chose Caesar since it's in a way her duty now as his wife, but that if given the chance she would go back in time and be more upfront with Mitsu. The guy made it sound better though XD. How do you guys take the context of the song? If given the chance would Ichi go back in time and confess to Mitsu or has she made up her mind already and chose Caesar. Does the japanese in the song give a little more insight that gets lost in translation J? |

Those guys were using my translation to discuss it probably... in which case they clearly dont understand the context of the song No, the first part of her song is her feelings BEFORE she fell in love with Caesar, i.e after she was forced to marry him, (probably between ep 13 and 14) hence, she regrets not being honest, but after she fell in love with him, she decided to move on, you cannot love two people, she chose caesar, but she says 'the lingering scent will not disappear' means that she wont forget her past i.e you will never forget your first love, its lingering, which means its only a small part of what it used to be.... i.e she will always think of mitsu fondly, but she has someone she wants to love properly now How do i know this? the first part of the song describes her feelings for the first guy as 'flowerish/vivid scent' i.e her feelings for the first guy was like that, but the second part, when she referenced the first guy, the vivid scent is changed to 'lingering', hence, the first part of the song and the second part (caesar) describes her feelings at different times i.e first part is probably between 13-14 and second part is probably in between 18-20 Again,she does not love two people, and falling in love with her husband is her choice, not her duty, she made it clear, it is what her heart wants, nobody forced her to, she said it was foolish probably because she was falling for the guy who killed her father and her people and forced her to marry him Ep 13 she specifically told Mitsu she is only going to Caesar strictly for the good of the clan and the people, she was basically promising him she will only be there because she has to, but her feelings changed as she fell in love with him, in a way, she broke her promise to Mitsu there, she NEVER intended, expected, or felt that she would fall for him properly, which is why the first part of the song she was regretful and sad She never, in the show or in either song said explicitly that she loved mitsu, her song title is Name of Flower, which is only referenced to in the end of the song.. 'i want to welcome warmly, the name of the flower that has bloomed.. surely the person will call it love' The context of the song is that she once had feelings for Mitsu, but she has fallen in love with caesar, and from the tense with which she used to describe the blooming flower, its the first time she has truly fallen in love with someone, which goes in parallel with caesars description of the name of the flower that he has also fallen in love for the first time.. Her words were 'SURELY the person will call it (the name of the flower that has bloomed) love' but in english it can also be something like 'The person will call it love.. right?' its saying that she was sure its love, but she isnt 100% sure, and the person she was referring to (Caesar) obviously is the one who knows the answer, in a way she is asking for confirmation that it is love, and in caesars second song, when he described that he finally realized the 'name of the flower that has bloomed', he is answering the last line in her song- 'Yes, it is love' Its very subtle, but its there, as i said, her lack of certainty of what the name of the flower was is saying that she never knew true love until now Her feelings for Mitsu was described as 'flowery feelings' but her feelings for caesar was described as 'the name of the flower that has bloomed-- Love' the song is about her love for caesar, not about her love for both men... Would she go back to the past if she could ? i think the answer is yes between ep 13 and 14, but she had the perfect chance to do just that when caesar was stranded in the west star and when he came back as an enemy (Giving her a perfect chance to get rid of him, especially as ep 13 shows clearly their feelings were mutual at that time), but she chose to wait for him and go to him instead The description of Mitsu in the first part of the song is meant to mislead people into thinking the song is about Mitsu, when the focus is actually on Caesar (the name of the flower (Love) is only meant to caesar after all) And as if it wasnt obvious enough, episode 21 shows that she no longer has any romantic feelings for Mitsu... The first half (Mitsu) and second half (caesar) is in a chronological order of how her feelings changed as the story progresses |

| How Mitsu was always holding onto the comb like that was... uncomfortable. Very cringe worthy. He didn't stow it away, but was always taking it out and looking at it. Yeah, she's a married woman, who clearly returned the feelings of her husband. And after she died with her husband he still had it... I agree about the song complete! The first half is her feelings in the earlier part of the story (probably 13-14), the second part with the reference of praying for a singular persons safe return is obviously after ep 18 Even in the english translation its pretty obvious if you read between the lines, just watch ep 21 for yourself and ask if she looks like she loves both men, or has she chosen one from the start? I think its pretty obvious really... she stopped showing any romantic interest in him after ep 18 (i said her feelings reflect her feelings just after that ep) She does not love both men, that would make her a slut, she explicitly states that she has AN important person i.e one person, and that is the person she explicitly states that she was in love with I want to see chapter 6, but i guess ill wait for the release |

| Hmm, I think you can probably make out what they are saying J. Well, from what I saw in the chapter Caesar whoops ass, His beam attack causes damage to where Ichi and Nobukatsu are at. Nobukatsu shields Ichi from damage. Ichi I guess offers herself to Caesar in exchange for him leaving. I'm not sure if Nobukatsu is dead or just injured but Caesar leaves with both of them. Mitsu appears to be NTRd again. |

That's the key, how Ichi is acting purely platonic towards Mitsu. LOL, so many shojos have their female chara in love with 2 guys (in one it ended like that). Thank goodness Ichi's not like that. Wow, that is different from the anime. And he took Nobukatsu too? I like that the manga is doing differently (as long as it's Caesar x Ichi). |

Also the manga its not even on mangafox even though there is english translation, it seems semi-official to me But with the entire round table and arthur being already shown, im guessing Caesar will switch sides soon enough, so he should fall in love with Ichi since thats the only reason he will.. But how is Mitsu going to kill Nobukatsu now? |

| Well, I was rushing when I was looking at the chapter so I'm not sure. Nobu interfered before Caesar delivered a finishing blow, but in the end Nobuhide ends up taking a finishing blow from Caesar to protect Nobu XD. I really can't tell if Nobukatsu is dead or injured, but he's with Ichi in Quo Vadis. They also showed a panel of Mitsu with a shocked face as Ichi goes with Caesar XD. Himiko was also doing some stuff this chapter, but couldn't really tell what. |

| The manga isn't that popular I'm guessing so scan groups really aren't going to waste there time translating it. It also is getting released officially on the comic walker website. The downside is the english translation is a month behind from the latest japanese chapter. Well, there are different possibilities they can take with the manga right now. Mainly Caesar and what he will become. I can see him and Ichi falling in love or something like Nobu and co rescuing Ichi from his clutches. Whichever the case they both still have giant death flags T_T. |

After wrecking both Nobuhide and Nobunaga, he walked over to Ichi and said Finally, i was able to meet You, Beautiful Princess My name is Gaius Julius Caesar And i have come to snatch you away LOL that was epic, anyway caesar said the oda was finished but she threathens to kill herself unless he spares the Oda and saves nobukatsus life, she also asks him if they were going to the west star but caesar said they were going to the takeda It seems the manga skipped the shingen story and just made it seem that caesar has already conquered it beforehand, there were some other convos but i didnt bother translating them, just wait for the translation Im guessing Hannibal and charlemange will arrive in the next couple of chapters and she will have him whipped by then, im sure he will be an ally at least |

I was always wondering that myself. XD Oh! That was REALLY epic! LOL So Caesar! He can do kidnapping in an awesome way. XD This is just so different. I kinda wish the anime did this. | Snatch you away really couldn't they made it more romantic like take you away LOL... Hmm, with Nobukatsu still alive I wonder how it will affect Mitsu's storyline. Did Caesar propose to Ichi J or was it just a kidnapping scenario? I can't see someone like Shingen to be defeated off panel. It's probably an alliance like ep 6,7 showed us. Unless the manga explicitly said Takeda has been taken over. |

No he didnt propose, after he said i have come for you she was surprised and was like 'ummm not my father or my brother' she wasnt kidnapped, after she found out he wants her she threathened to killl herself unless he leaves the oda clan and she also asked to save nobukatsu i suppose, i havent bothered reading all the lines She said something like 'the oda clan will not fall to you' or something while she threathened to kill herself (even though caesar literally wiped the floor with both her dad and her brother this ep), and caesar seemed impressed with her courage I guess once Nobukatsu is cured its possible he sent him back to the Oda but in exchange he asks to marry Ichi, and once nobukatsu gets back, tells everyone that Ichi stays behind to marry caesar, and then there will be a succession problem and Mitsu will off nobukatsu, that might happen i think, and then hannibal and charlemange can arrive and Ichi does her thing with caesar With arthur already mentioning guinevere, its probably the same thing, Caeasar will do his heel face turn out of love |

That would make sense for that to happen. It would be the shortest way to get there since they're cutting things. And be different. Caesar has to! That's how he develops. |

| Well in the anime Caesar wiped the floor with both Nobuhide and Nobunaga, but it took 7-8 episodes for their battle to be settled, i guess the manga just went for the shortcut and have him whoop both at once, i think the next time caesar pops up, it will be as an ally, after he has gotten ichi to marry him of course Caesar even did his CONDEMNATION thing this chapter when he used the laser on nobuhide http://www.alfoo.org/image/diary48/levela13/levela13-1403627252-1.jpg close up of chara song box That looks like caesars wine everyone is drinking Well i was reading the blog of a caesar x ichi fangirl in japanese, she was talking about how the second ending could be about Jeanne and Nobu but it can fit Caesar x Ichi better, i havent tranlsated it properly, but ED 2 talks about 'for the sake of protecting you' 'sleeping peacefully my (or your, im not sure) arms', 'stripping off the armor that conceals true feelings', and a reference to 'is this feeling that rises in my heart called love?' and something about 'flower that blooms' I think its Jeanne but draw your own conclusions, this fangirl is pretty crazy |

| Hmm, it looks like they are moving up the Caesar X Ichi storyline. While still needing to deal with the Takeda and succession part. We could very well get more juicy interactions here than we did in the anime. My only problem is Mitsu and what role he will play. Ichi's expression priceless. It does look like it's western wine. |

| The manga hasnt had a single Mitsu and Ichi interaction yet, the manga isnt moving up the caesar x ichi story, its probably just rushing through the story by making caesar defeat both nobunaga and nobuhide at the same time rather than stretch the details, i always felt the caesar vs nobunaga storyline from 5-12 can be cut drastically so the 2nd half isnt rushed Anyway with the entire round table cast being shown, im sure caesar will heel face turn soon enough All wines are western, the east star doesnt seem to have glasses like that either BTW the fangirl also bought the blu ray vol 2 which has booklets with additional details on all episodes... | I dont think the info is based on who is in the cover... the blu ray disks include a booklet describing a detailed summary of each episode, blu ray vol 2 has the episode when caesar is first introduced properly, so the booklet may have some info on him in the summary Ichi is probably 18 or 17, i always thought caesar is the older guy, since he seems like the kind of guy she will find reliable etc Most fujoshi will prefer caesar over Mitsu, they always like the bad boys, not the whiny ones |

| Japanese fans get some pretty nice things with their anime DVDs. I guess they have to considering the prices. Well, I toi knew Caesar was the older one considering that's how it usually ends. Still he's only 19 and already a known playboy throughout the west XD. It's not that hard believing he's never found true love considering his age. |
