Mangaka Kawaguchi Kaiji (the author of "Zipang") fell from the bicycle on a slippery road and broke the right radius bone. The publication of "Zipang" was suspended from Morning magazine vol.23. Kawaguchi will have a rehabilitation to resume the series at the end of this month.

Kawaguchi drew a character of Zipang with his left hand.

Wow he looks so sad in the picture.

Never heard of Zipang but it has an interesting premise.

I hope he gets better. He's the third creator that I heard about getting an arm involved in some accident or surgery.

He can finish the manga with his left hand..

Then again, it is better for him to relax, rest, and recover before continuing his Zipang project. Considering the complicated political story that goes with it, I hope he won't try to finish the manga using his left-hand while suffering a broken right-arm. Bad idea!

ouch. that sounds like an extremely painful way to break your arm. it hurts bad enough to fall off and scrape your knee.
