| Good Day community of myanimelist.net I just have a little question that has been bugging me for quite some time now... Who was the one who gave a SHONEN! anime a rating of "R?" The anime is based off of a shonen light-novel series. If you know the basic definition of shonen, you would know that an "R" rating for such a show is utterly ridiculous... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the information posted about this anime is wrong. Might be mistaken so can someone kindly clarify this piece of information for me? *before anyone says anything, already tried to change the rating to pg-13, but it was rejected by the mods* |

| It's a tough call. Right now, I'd say PG-13. There's a lot of sexual innuendo, and for the amount of skin we get, there is no identification of the more pivotal parts. |

| If Girls Bravo gets a PG-13, then there's no way Ninomiya-kun gets an R. Oh, the second season of Girls Bravo gets an R apparently. |
| It would be fair to give it an "R" if it was seinen, but just odd when you see it on a shonen show. In my opinion, an "R" should only be given to animes that show extreme forms of violence and or scenes that are borderline hentai. Ninomiya hasn't exactly shown any form of extreme violence, just average ones you see on any shonen title. The fanservice is mild, the worst you see is Reika wearing a very skimpy bikini. Doesn't matter either way, just annoying when people throw around "R" ratings when it isn't necessary. Maybe a system in which you have to justify why it has an "R" and above rating should be added... |
