| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, I feel like this training session got a bit awkward. At least music/OST was better than last time imo. Some parts of the episode felt almost like a rematch like from the first episode to me. Good thing Takeshi's skills improved drastically cause he would of been a goner. Kazumi was awesome this episode. Other than that, it felt rushed again. I am impressed by Kazumi's improvement with his skills though. Guess those training paid off. |

| I'm impressed! Kurumi actually took her life into her own hands this episode. Too bad it only lasted for about a minute of screen time, and was followed by her blindly wandering into a dark room and following a sketchy guy through a mirror. I don't even know why Takeshi is bothering to rescue her at this point. I mean, sure, she is his friend, but she has almost no sense of self-preservation. She's just going to walk into an open manhole and drown once he rescues her. Kazumi defeated the girl who he had already defeated in the first episode. In one attack, after pulling the 'hurr I wuz just holding back' card. Woo-hoo, so exciting. I honestly was annoyed at how he talks to her as though she's his little sister after defeating her. I mean, he's already admitted to punching his little sister to keep her from going to a party where there were boys and she might have gotten cooties. Takeshi's fight with Oigami was also pretty underwhelming. However, I thought the training sequence with him and his mother was actually decent, and managed to add some sense that, yes, they are family. I really hope his mom doesn't die and that the 'vision' he had was just something that was made to trick us viewers into thinking that would happen. |

| I don't understand why they had to fight Oigami and the other girl. At first I thought the 2 of them had been brainwashed or something, but after the fight it is clearly shown that they remember helping Isoshima, so why would they want to hinder Takeshi? |

| She's back to normal with "kiss". She escaped and just bumped into that guy who is willing to help her with escaping. And that boss is... Then they are ready to go. The two of the who helped childhood girl fought against them. So he's able to foresee the future, too. lol~ that final preview is funny as always. |

| Just like everyone else asked, why did they even fight? Only reason that makes sense is to showcase his training like others said but honestly they could have just used some random lackey to accomplish that. Otherwise this was an awkward fight. One more episode to go. |

| Thank god I'm not the only one wondering why they were fighting, I thought I missed something earlier. They helped Isoshima, so why would they fight the other people also trying to help her? |

| My first question is a pretty simple one... Why did they waste so much of the episode on Kurumi? Gekkou does his creepy psycho thing and scares her, Oigami tries to help her escape, then she runs head first to the first sketchy guy she can find and walks hand in hand with him into a magical portal going god knows where... this just goes on to prove once again how useless her character really is. They could have left out all of that crap and focused more on the training and the invasion/rescue, maybe the episode wouldn't haven't felt so rushed and cramped together then. As to why we had a rematch from episode one? Simply because it was a convenient rematch from episode one. Pointless and completely unnecessary, but for serving up the results of the training. This series started off great, had a lot of potential, but the last several episodes have been failing pretty bad. I'm happy about one thing though, no more of those god awful previews from blonde bimbo witch bitch. They're so annoying, why couldn't we have just been giving normal previews? |

| The pace... THE FREAKING PACE. Yeah it was a nice episode, nothing impressive though. I don't care if the rematch was pointless, I liked it. One more episode. This has been a fun ride, not too good, but definitely going to miss this. Too bad, this had a lot of potential :\ |

| The inside of their headquarters looks like Hogwarts except the staircases don't move :P Damn yuri is everywhere this season, not that I mind ;) I have a great idea lets walk though a portal with a person I've never met to who knows where :) Seriously why would she go >.> Happy memory :) Why the heck wouldn't he wait for her to tell him... Ida's pat then headbutt was awesome. They pretty much fought just for the heck of it :P So Gekkou is about to kill their mom... fucking bastard. Looks like Kurumi is learning the truth. Goodbye Mahoka you will be missed :( I'm still curious about what happened to Futaba, like what kind of special powers does she have. |
| I would say that Takao and Hotaru in here are not bad, well except for Gekkou, he is irritating for the most part. Dat Yuri kiss (well not exactly). Kurumi trying to escape to get back to Takashi, but now she is alone with the leader of trailer Mommy and son still training to get stronger. The fight was okay, Takashi was indeed getting a little stronger. Dat headbutt XD. Dat second eye magic. Onwards to save Kurumi. Somewhat a meh episode. I think it's kind of slow for the most part. Let's see how will they end it off in the last episode. |
| Worst anime ever, at the beginning 2 faction stood against each other and then straiten it 2 just a single boy named takeshi a newbie at magician who takes all the glory without breaking much sweat even right till the end. Well goodbye mahou sensou.. fought well takeshi.. hope you better learn some badass magic 2 entertain us next week and the ending be a tragic one at that |

| Impressive. Takeshi might be able to keep up with gekkou's angel hunt now. And for the people saying the fight was pointless, how was it pointless? If trailers showed up at wizard brace hq with liberation already activated do you think there wouldn't be a fight? Oigami and Hotaru could be thinking that they're about to be invaded by wizard brace. So attack first ask questions later. But since they were defeated and Takeshi showed no other signs of wanting to fight they probably concluded that Takeshi was telling the truth that he was only there for kurumi. And it's not like Takeshi and Oigami are friends; Oigami most likely wanted a little revenge for the first time they fought. So I wouldn't say it was exactly pointless. |

| Can someone please tell me whether the LN actually does flow like this? They just walk through a mirror, get to the Pendragon fortress and there are only TWO, like the two WEAKEST Trailers out there waiting for them? Lax security doesn't even begin to describe it. Then there's the rushed training and rescue mission. So let me get this straight, out of the entire school, only 3 WB magicians could be spared to rescue Kurumi when Takeshi has THE KEY to the Trailer's base?!? Why didnt' anyone think to send in a huge task force and wipe the Trailers out? Wouldn't that be a more logical mindset for the leaders of the remaining Wizard Brace? Seriously, I had extremely high hopes for this anime given the art ain't half bad, the music is great, but the story just doesn't flow well enough. They should have made this a 2 cour series and included more content..... or is it because they actually lack LN content that they had to do what they did? Can someone out there please enlighten me? I really want to like this series, and am seriously interested in reading the LNs, but if this anime is representative of the LNs.... then I really don't know anymore :( |

| Interesting episode to say the least. It seems all parties involved trained in their own ways. I mean Ida who had to focus all his power to ever be able to use some of it, was capable of using a potent BANG spell that was badass in power and visuals, I like it. I also like the spells Takeshi mastered, though Strike Vision looks a bit overpowered. The only thing I criticise and this may have been the anime's fault more than the author is that it took them a relatively long time to show more spells on their arsenal. Apart from that the episode was enjoyable. Finally time to kick Gekkou's whiny ass. |
