| To ultimately answer the question, because I bet many people will ask this, jot down this simple note: Saya's route = Before Refrain. Heck, after Riki recruit all girls to complete Little Busters without solving any of the girls' problems. Sasami's route = After Refrain. Kanata's route = 3/4 of her story is before Refrain and the last 1/4 is after Refrain. (Yes this is confusing) So yeah, at the very least, Sasami's and Kanata's routes have something to do with the story since they're after Refrain(And based on how their stories go) but of course, like the other heroines' routes, they have their own problems(This includes Saya's too) and Riki must do something. Anyway, it heavily depends on how the anime adaptation will go but this is how it really goes on the VN. |

| In the series each character has her own arc, Little Busters EX adds 3 more arcs. That's the way I look at it. (From the point of view of a person that is only watching the series.) |

| Rather off topic but for Kanata: 1/2 before Refrain and 1/2 post Refrain kinda bugging anyone? I finished her route today and it only took 20 minutes for me to read the post Refrain part :O |
