Dissected down, the concepts are not original in the slightest. And when they're mashed together, it does not work in the slightest. Each of these individual concepts literally crash into each other which make a very lackluster result. Not to mention that everything else about the anime, such as the characters, the dialogue, and plot, was also really bad.

Needless to say, I dropped it. Very little potential. 1/5.

I suppose you don't like flatten CGI technique used for animation. From the viewpoint of design those mechs look pretty ok, But they would propably look awesome if they were hand-drawn

Maybe it's just the names but I'm seriously getting Sengoku Basara vibes from this. Interesting how they're using the names of historical figures and blending European and Feudal Japanese eras together. I'm not really into mechas, but this looks pretty awesome.

Top-notch 10/10 for the music... not sure about anything else yet.

This anime reminds me of Escaflowne (for a lot of reasons). It had a pretty good start, though I dislike the use of historical figures.

Damn, mecha/fantasy with great animation and voice acting, and a huge cast of characters...?
Consider me thrilled as shit. I've already got huge expectations for this series.

I'm just starting my anime for the season, and after the first episode I'm pretty sure this will at the least be in my top 3 this season, if not my favorite.

Have to agree though, this is a bit of a minus for me as well. Usually anyway, but for some reason they didn't seem too out of place here... which is normally my issue. It seemed to fit decently enough though.

I was worried that this might be another testosterone poisoned bullshit like Sengoku Basara but it actually might have some potential.

Some people who are attached to these historical characters might get petty and be offended but that certainly won't be me; this story and characters are their own.

Why this anime receive one of the lowest rating in here?
The last time i see, it is on the 7.08. That is one hell of a score lower than most generic anime. Heck this should score better than Nobunagun.

I know that it very subjective, but I enjoy this anime very much. The setting, the concept, animation and everything else seems perfect to me. Definitely one of my favorites so far.

Okay to start we have the deaths of the actual Nobunaga and Jeanne D'Arc, then we get swept into some sort of alternate dimension with many of the world's historical figures and warriors and you add in sci fi and mecha to warring japan.

I'm all for crazy new takes on old stories so count me in.

That was fucking ridiculous, but I love it!

Historical theme? +1. Historical with Oda Nobunaga? +2. Men with huge goal/dream? +3.

The OST was fucking great. What's with these OST, this and Nobunagun, they both have awesome OST.

"Zehimonashi"/"It was inevitable". By the way wtf is with this and Buddy Complex episode 2 title, one is The Lover and another one is Nice Coupling, and they're both mecha anime. ~.~

Edit: And I love Miyano Mamoru as Oda Nobunaga, I wasn't a huge fan of his but damn that was some great voice acting!!!

Galilei Donna all over again? Hopefully it is not as bad. I was very uninterested up until the end.

What's up with the douche bags that get mad about our negative opinions on this anime? Go F yourselves and crawl out your A holes. Respect other peoples opinions and right to post.

Are you another one that feels obligated to finish any short series you started, even if it's not interesting? By the way, when you're asking another to respect other's opinion, you yourself shouldn't be using "fuck yourself" or "your ass hole", that will make you look like nothing but a hypocrite.

Has quite the twisted setting. Will be pretty interesting if they don't ruin the execution.

Probably a show I won't continue:

Pros:

- Really cool Mecha designs, the CGI didn't look bad.
- Somewhat serious tone and plot

Cons:

- character designs look ridiculous. the bi-shounen styles put me off
- colors are too saturated for me
- I don't really care about the story so far, would only watch for cool battles
- setting is too weird for me

I think I am going to like this a lot. It's historical with some Mecha elements and it's got 3 of my favourite seiyu's Takahiro Sakurai, Mamoru Miyano, and Yuki Kaji. Oh and how can I forget Tomokazu Sugita so make that 4 of my favourite seiyus.

At first, by the title alone, I thought this was going to be a comedy, but when I actually watched the episode and saw the tarot cards I understood the fool was just referring to the 0 tarot card. So hopefully this will be 22 episodes long that way it matches the tarot theme it has already associated itself with.

I love how japanese will just never get tired of using Sengoku themes in their works, it's like the best thing about them.

Anyways, this seems like it will be a fun ride.

Since there Kawamori, the script and the mecha are "almost" identical to those seen in Aquarion. Not bad, although I love all the most massive in the style of certain parts.
Too many high-sounding names, give me a little trouble, it seems a great meatloaf!
Character design is also reminiscent of the characters of the anime series Aquarion!
Animations, scenarios and good colors. Current rating of 6/10!

History got butchered again.

Together with threesome of main heroes annoying as hell (well, foursome cause DaVinci counts too). And mecha genre, worst combination.

This was pain to watch. Instadrop.

This episode...I honestly almost dropped it. actually, i did drop it..for a bit. i really, really just didn't like the girl when she was in the mecha. sorry, but i'm not watching this for excessive fan service. because that's all Je'an looked like to me, a girl whose been thrown in just for fan service.
Also, i was a bit skeptical about nobunaga. I wasn't too sure if I liked him yet. but surly I didn't hate him either.
Lastly, the mecha's....why didn't I realize that there would be mechas here? I just didn't like the fact that they were using mechas, in what looked like the sengoku period.(ok I also just hate mecha's)
The other characters were fine to me. but we will see

Wasn't expecting this to suddenly have mechas.

LOL mechas in a historical/medieval setting? How foolish, just like our main character. However, I'm all for these, uh, unique concepts haha. Let's see where this goes.
