| I KNEW they would stupidly and needlessly draw out this tension between Natsume and Harutora, and now that they've moved on to something else, they probably won't tell each other for at least another 7 episodes. So annoying and pointless. |

| I liked the romance in this episode, nothing really happens much in this episode but Dat foreshadowing though. Looks like Tenma is in his own problems. Good thing he's getting focus too. I noticed something happens to Harutora's mark, it was glowing at the end. Poor guy he needs to pull himself together and now deal with the "D" guy. The whole episode I could see how Harutora and Natsume were feeling down. ;_; EDIT: WHERE IS THE NEW OP/ED??? |

| Good ep. As expected, they're gonna draw out the Natsume=Hokuto thing. But well at least Harutora is thinking about it really seriously. Liked the scene when both of them were on bed doing the same thing XD Kon was kawaiii as usual with Ohtomo sensei >.< <3 I don't know if they're changing the OP nxt ep but I'm actually a bit glad that it wasn't changed yet. This was my fav OP last season so happy to see it again :D Being Touji is suffering with how these 2 are acting XD He must really want to do THIS XDXDXD Tenma seems to have a role this arc. Wonder what the talisman will do to him? Doman is starting to get serious. Let's see how the action this arc will be then. |

| They adapted that better than I thought. it's nice that Temna has started to get some background and screen time. Except they didn't spent the whole episode building it up. They spent whole series slowly building it up in between all of the plot. It's not that's just going to be said then dropped. That fact its been brought up means it's being dealt with, but they have to solve their own personal insecurities first. It's major personal discussion that needs the right time for it. No it doesn't for very reasons I listed and nevermind they were going to talk about it middle of street which isn't an appropriate place to discuss stuff like this. So not a surprise that two very shy people would lose their nerve when something interrupted them. Not everybody can easily talk about their feelings nor confess their secrets. |

| We finally got a bit more background on the 12 generals. And Doman is finally making his move by invading the school and getting the Raven Coat. Can't wait for more battles again! |

In terms of the scenes in this episode with the main cast, then yes they did spend the entire episode building it up. I Know it's not going to be said then dropped, nor do I want it to be, but I wanted them to at least get somewhere, to confirm that they're aware of the situation, and if that was an inappropriate location, then they'd discuss it in the near future. That would at least have eased the needless tension that will now linger on for a couple of episodes. But the fact is, even with all that build up, they made no progression at all. If they address the issue in the next episode, then I'm mistaken but I highly doubt that will happen. That's all that's bothering me, it's not too big a deal, but I waited 2 weeks to see some progress after episode 12 and I got nothing. |
| Hokuto in here gets a little screen time, but entirely flashbacks. I missed her though. Tenma also gets a little screen time and a little background from him. Good introduction on The 12 Divine Generals and their motivation. Harutora and Natsumi can be a little decisive on their friendship. Well all ends in that cliffhanger scene can wait to see more in later episodes. Overall great set up episode. |

They want to say it, but they are afraid to do it because their lives and relationship will change. Neither one know how the other will react or what will happen. So it's natural for them to be scared, because they want to do it right and properly. It's pretty obvious they will eventually discuss it once the two overcome those doubts and take a leap of faith. You already got progress since Harutora is now aware of Hokuto and thinking about what that means. It doesn't mean the issue would be immediately solved by this episode. |

| Man a two week hiatus was too long. Glad to see the show's back and that the OP stayed the same(heard the new one I just know it will be a while before I become used to it). Honestly thought there would be resolving dialogue between Harutora and Natsume but Big bad battle comes first. |

| Finally we get on to the main plot. I like how they included the slides of text. I'm guessing that's part of Harutora's internal monologues in the LN? | So if I'm not wrong then that old man is planning to use himself as a distraction while his real aim will be to search for the real Raven coat at the Onmyouji academy through the talisment he stuck on Harutora's friend. Sound like a good plan to me. |

| Well, unnecessary romance drama is unnecessary. However, all this tension building has been pretty great. And I love the text slides -- most memorable one obviously being "the scariest kind of lies is the kind used to deceive oneself." This next episode is gonna be epic. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. |

I feel like the best time to reveal something like that is during the climax of the action which I feel that there is a strong possibility of happening since they focused on their relationship more so right before Doman begins his assault. The tension is raised higher by including personal struggles and problems during conflict. They will be forced to resolve it or the conflict at hand will not be dealt with. Also, I find the lack of discussion on Hirata and Momoe's meeting disturbing. Are we going to ignore the fact that Hirata slipped something on Momoe? A shady character since his introduction. Additionally, it seems like it will be a review episode next? That's the feeling I'm getting from Kon's end message. If so, dammit. Anyways, I'm really liking the show so far. |

The anime pretty much skipped many explanations regarding Kon, info on Ashiya Doman, completely butchering Volume 2 content in episode 5, few interactions between the main cast and now skipped and changed a few stuff in Black Shaman ASSAULT arc. I was hoping for Tenma's character development to have more screen time, it sucks so much! I cri evrytiem ;c But they tried to adapt Volume 6 / episode 13 pretty much decently, I appreciate studio's effort here. And yeah, I'm guessing he performed some kind of spell on Tenma, he looks evil considering what he did at the end of episode 9 when he was thanking Mutobe. Seems like the cult is working with Douman on this from the shadows. |

| The Natsume/Hokuto thing to be dragged out.. as expected They're probably gonna really drag it out Doman making his move Harutora shaking as Doman faces the Prep School, and that star on his face shining bright red too.. What's going on there? ;o I still liked the episode despite no real progress between Harutora and Natsume. Expecting some awesome action next episode :D |
