| Aki looks at Trent. "Trent?" Death bends down and looks at Zero's leg. "This doesn't look good. I'll have to take you to the hospital, but you'll need an alias." He stood up and thought for a moment. "I've got it, you'll pretend to be my little brother and your name will be Shane Martian." |

| Aki wasn't sure what to say and she looks away from Trent hoping that would help. "Why are we in an ally?" Death (Gene) looks at Zero. "Why are you sad?" |

| "Oh okay." Aki then looks at Trent again and blushes slightly. Death bends down and looks at Zero. "Do you want me to carry you to the hospital?" |

| "Can you get on my back?" Death asked. Aki gently squeezed Trent's hand. "Please don't stop. I don't feel alone anymore." A few tears fell down Aki's cheeks. |

| Death helps Zero climb onto his back. He starts walking to the hospital still carrying Zero train. Aki kisses Trent back. |

| Death continues walking. "You're welcome." Aki looks out the window wonder where Trent was going now. |
|
| Death arrived at the hospital (for aki and trent let's switch to aki's apartment. |

| Lucian -Walks into cafe, orders some tea, and begins research on current case- |

| "Well then, it's about time I get going. See ya tomorrow!" Sunami was sitting in the cafe with her best friend, Ryouko, and said friend was about to go to dance lessons. Ryouko ran away while waving her hand, and Sunami waved her away with a smile. "Bye bye!" She took another sip from her tea, and looked at her shingami, Zur. "C'mon, let's go already," he kept saying. Sunami let her gaze be directed back at her tea, and took the final sip, after which she stood up and took her bag. "Finally!" Zur yelled, and flew to the door already. Sunami slowly walked behind him, during which she passed Lucian's table. She stopped at seeing the papers he was looking at. "Why're you stopping?" Zur asked, and flew back to Sunami. "A detective, huh?" she asked Lucian, now searching eye contact with him. |
| -looks up from computer, seeing sunami- oh, hello. Yes, I am a detective. Why don't you sit down, this is perfect timing for a civilian interview. |

| "Sure, I wouldn't mind." Sunami sat down on the opposite side of the table. "What would you like to know?" Zur was now behind Lucian, looking at the screen, and had long given himself in to the laughter. I wonder what's so funny... Well, he's a being that laughs over some really strange things. Better not pay any attention to it... |
| Thank you. This is just a civilian interview, completely random and anonymous. I'm just going to ask you a few questions about recent things, not very hard. |

| "I see. I will do my best then." Sunami gave a smile to Lucian. When she saw Zur was still laughing behind Lucian's back, she looked at him with a death glance. He slowly stopped laughing, and Sunami gave him a quick sign with her head to come to her side. |
| -looks at sunami- are you alright? -looks behind him, only to see nothing.shrugs- Alright. Let's begin. The first question is easy. What is your age? |

| "15 years old." |
| -makes a quick note- And do you watch or read the news? |

| "Both." Sunami looked over to Zur for a second, who was still obediently standing behind her. |
| And are you fond of history? |
|
| "Yes... It interests me..." Sunami said with a smile. |
| Good. That makes things easier. I assume you've heard of the Kira case? |

| The Kira case...? "Yes, I've heard of it, but I don't know any details. Supposedly, he was a serial killer that only killed criminals, right? But, I heard he had the ability to kill them from some faraway place, am I correct?" The answer is clear, that man owned a death note. I wonder if the police know that, though... She took a quick glance at Zur. So that's what was so funny, eh, Zur... |
| That's right. A very interesting case, if I say so myself. But the problem is, I can't find any good historical records of this case. I don't like to mess with the police, but when I went to their files, the folder on this particular case wasn't there. It's like it didn't even exist. Also, all files on people related to the kira case are missing as well. I presume this was all done by the same person. You look like an intelligent girl, what is your opinion on this? |
