| Oh man.. save for last two pages, what a boring chapter. I had this feeling for several previous chapters already but now it's pretty obvious mangaka really doesn't know what story he/she wants to tell. I really don't know whether main theme should be about relation of high-school boy with young woman, about overcoming your past mistakes, about coming-of-age, about motivations and finding your own way in life, about harassment and acceptance of others, whether this should be comedy, slice of life or drama, I dunno. So far it seems it tries to do everything (and nothing very well). Feels like this manga is running in circles, jumping from one theme to other randomly. Let's hope sister character will bring some much needed impulse. Imaizumi is pretty bad and boring character, I wish he would disappear for good. And it doesn't help that Riceballicious are still doing pretty bad job and their current translator is pretty weak, to the point some of their texts doesn't even make sense (it's bad really I can tell their mistakes even when I don't know Japanese much and even when english is not my native language). Guess I will be better off with CR. |
