Of course you could play the Matrix card but then there's no point in any discussion if you're assuming everything someone sees isn't real as you could do it with anything. You could even say the real world in Matrix is actually inside another Matrix. Then on and on ad infinitum. My main gripe with this theory is, as it's with practically every conspiracy theory, that it distances people from actually reasonable and sensible theories, as these kind of dumb theories bring in much more interested people. It hinders people having better discussions. I guess it doesn't matter since only illogical people would believe in these kind of theories and there shouldn't be much to discuss in Yuyushiki. |

And for those saying this theory is crazy, that's totally fine. For those who actually read the disclaimer, they know I said none of this is considered "true." I will reiterate again that it shows a different PERSPECTIVE of the series, not the actual truth. What is compiled as evidence are just a surprising amount of coincidences that are put together in one place. So let me repeat this one more time, since I am sure someone later on again will say this is pure bullshit, and in essence it is. It's a theory, not the truth. You are free to believe in whatever you want. If you don't believe in it and think it's pure idiocy, that's perfectly fine. No problem with that. If you believe in this theory, or at least pay attention to it while watching the series, kudos to you. Another thing. As you noticed, I kinda got lazy halfway through. Expected since it takes me an hour to go through an episode and take screenshots, another half hour to resize, organize and upload the photos, and another hour to formulate some ideas and post an update. With an average of 30 pictures per episode, it gets tedious and we all know I have better things to do than this. So basically, future episodes are stalled for now until I have a sudden random urge to somehow want to update it. You are still free to update any new finds that could support this theory, or evidence to disprove it. And since I'm bored, might as well add in something. Since I never did the first two episodes and used a 4chan thread instead, there are some unproven consistencies that weren't explained properly. It is clearly seen in episode one that Yuzuko was talking to a store employee. But did anyone else see the reminiscent dream-like aura? If you see the duo speaking to someone that Yui doesn't know, be sure to check if dream-like auras are present. It could just be a flashback. Final note: For those who know of Umineko, I feel like one of those players using the Red Truth to disprove/prove logical or illogical theories. But if anything, be sure to enjoy this series no matter what you believe in! |
| from the limited I admit manga reading ive done.. the anime ive completed .. and the various psycho-dramas ive watched .. this was a fun theory to watch people troll and joke on but you would need 2+2 to equate to 5 for it to actually be accurate. |

| It's not about believing or not. I just feel that the theory is very similar to the conspiracy theory proposed for Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. Even the hints with disappearing characters. So, could it be that both theories came from the same source. That's it. |
| I had fun reading this thread, it gave me the the drive to re-watch the anime with a different perspective. It's still entertaining with or without this theory in mind. I've also been reading the manga looking for any more clues. But so far the content has been the usual; conversations among the three and Mom. However, there is a slight development: Intriguing stuff... Thanks for posting this thread alexpte! |
