Why?! why ?! Why?! Why ?!
Why did this have to happen ?!
It was a big shock, the battles were intense and all I wanted was to see my ship sail.
A-Drei always there at the good time ( found ya moment)
Q-Vier from Kajikaji saw and felt like a little bit of Kanato their ,crazy mode( at first I thought he would target Lieselotte ( good thing he didn't) but the thought killed me
L-Elf 's plan worked but those bullets scarred me my gosh I asked for those two to not die
T^T

Lisselotte and her past made me tear up,her memories, I am at least glad that she loved L-elf back the same way ,but the ending of the episode got me .

Then I wonder how she knew how the story turned before the episode was aired.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

What she drew didn't happen, though. Liese's death was hardly out of left field; someone thinking it was going to happen and drawing it doesn't mean they knew in advance (especially since she got it wrong).
She's just a very good artist who is extremely skilled at emulating the official art style.

So after rewatching, I wonder if there's anything more to the part where Unit 1 appears to be slitting its wrist to cool off its blade. I mean, this is coming from the same machine that commits seppuku routinely.

To me it kinda reminds me more of that thing where the swordsman wipe the blood off his sword before putting it back in the sheath. Can't remember what anime or whatever but I know I've that type of thing before.

^ Liz said that they are spirits without physical appearances. When their ship crashed on Earth, they had to jack body of all living things including animals and humans to survive. So it can be inferred that Magius are gender-less. The situation of Pino and Prue is interesting though. I want to know why these two have a distinct physical body (even trapped in the engine).
''

So you're making assumptions. All we know is that they are pseudo-immortal beings whom are capable of body-jacking, do not die of age, and feed off runes. We do not know how they reproduce, or if they reproduce at all. They could possibly reproduce as parasites, which would in turn give them a gender. To say they are genderless at this stage is not true.

We don't know.

Actually I think they do have genders. We've only seen males take control of males and females of females. Also, Prue and Pino who are confirmed Magius call themselves brother and sister which means there is definitely some distinction.

Man the way some of these scenes are directed and especially the delivery of the voice cast makes what could just kind of be pure cheese into some really edge of your seat stuff. This show really owes a lot to it's all star cast. I'm also feeling Kou Matsuo as a director for a sci-fi mecha series a lot more this season in general.

The scene of Lieselotte falling off the rocket kind of reminded me of the way Kai Shiden's doomed romantic interest Miharu Ratokie is killed off. Very similar kind of shot. Also the music choice for the final scene in Shi no Saki ni Aru Koto was spot on. That track in particular has been a favorite of mine since I got the soundtrack with it's somber string portions and variety. I kind of stand by my earlier claim now that Valvrave has the best soundtrack of anything airing this season, though I'm probably biased since this is my favorite Japanese composer really on his game.

The detailed plan for Saki's escape was written on L-elf note. They left Unit 4 to her as a vehicle to get back to the moon either with them or with the help of Dorssian royalist. It's not that they don't care, there's not enough time to go find her with Cain on their back. This plan by L-elf was very practical. It's just unfortunate that A-drei caught Saki in the act.i

The anime isn't even finished yet.

I think the time for anyone to get angry about plotholes is when the anime gets finished with still no explanations.

Also, goddamnit.
Liselotte is the most lovable girl in this anime so far (Far, far lovable than YOLO Shouko and HARUTO-PLS-R*PE-ME Saki). And she gets to die that quickly.

Sad episode :( why did Lieselotte have to die? I came to like L-elf x Lieselotte ship but she die T.T its no more.

Then I feel sad about Saki, she has been left again without remembering her. How dare them. I hope she's not betray her friends, after all, in the preview of the season 2 showed Saki is with Cain.

Strike Brace

Mainly intended as a gauntlet-like defensive armament against fast-firing weapons, the Strike Brace (ストライク・ブレイス Sutoraiku Bureisu?) also functions as a cooling system for the Z-Edge.

You know, I really wonder whether a watcher could read everything in the instruction in real-time before it moves to the next scene... Come to think of it, I think the bodybag we see in the trailer may actually be a captured Saki - the bag is to prevent her from doing strange and wild acts (at least to those who are not Cain).

Watch the episode twice and I think it is also a pretty good episode. I like how the "perfect plans" coming up by none other than L-Elf fell apart everywhere: Lieselotte was not saved; Saki could not escape; the students were outguessed and outmaneuvered by Cain (which almost led to their certain defeat). Also like how Satomi has grown up to take lead (though only to a certain extent as he kept insisting on waiting for L-Elf's instruction lol).

And we got to know a lot more about Magius. That Lieselotte is a Magius is a bit of a surprise but now everything links together including those freaking green marks (so it is really an iron maiden she went inside after all! ).

Also we can see that the OS girl (Pico?) in Valvrave is not Magius because she does not recognize the life form Magius. So does it mean she is yet another alien life form captured and enclosed in Valvrave to do the donkey work? Why didn't Haruto's dad explain that as well in the previous episode?

I also love the depiction of Haruto when 1) he decided to save L-Elf and 2) asked Lieselotte not to think that she has no future with L-Elf -- it is so easy to see how he identifies it with his relationship with Shouko (unfortunately this is the only Shouko we see - the heroine is MIA in wait how many episodes so far?). It is just sad that despite this flag being set up, she just goes to die the next moment.

On the other hand, I am not sure what the purpose the knife fight serve in the story. Except to show us the crazy side of the kid and some cool sakuga, I don't see how the melee is necessary.

So now Lieselotte is gone - my guess of the pairings is now in tatters. So who are the ancestors of the prince we see 200 years later?

I wanna see more on Saki's part and how she's gonna escape but all we get is 2 minutes of Saki and A-Drei every single episode and stupid recaps of the last episode instead. I'm sorry but my mind works well enough to remember that L-Elf found Lizzy and don't need to see it again.

Damn episode was amusing in many ways, Liselotte reveals herself to be a Magius (also their motivation) and then saving everyone but lost in the sky, I don't know what to say in the last scene :( As for Saki, just about to escape and then being captured again. L Elf (or Michael) just being badass as usual until a sad moment in the end...

First, it was space alien vampires. Now the bigger picture appears to actually involve a space alien infestation! What twist can they come up with next...

Irritainment at its finest, indeed. I guess that's the price L-Elf pays for being more super human than the actual super humans... the love interest he dodged countless bullets for and plotted to rescue for 10 years dies before he even gets to be with her for one full hour.

What a terrible waste of a character once again. Meh, gotten used to it.

They know she's left behind but have no idea where she is (though L-Elf managed to make sure Carmilla found it's way to her) or what they can possibly do about it right now. It is what it is, but lame isn't the word I'd used to describe it.

well said, perfectly put except for how you don't understand the concept of a knife fight. it's out of respect for eachother. it's to show skill and uphold honor. L-Elf couldof said, "fuck you." and shot him dead right there. knife fight/sword fight among two people familiar w/one another is a pretty classic move depicted far and wide in film.

I also gotta say that they are really giving the feel that they will kill of Haruto soon. I know, it's been in our face for a while w/the dream sequencing where they flash forward. I wonder if Shouko's lack of screen time is really a flag. I have more hope for the second season to not be so obvious to fall to the overused "death flag" quote. now I'm just really curious as to how many people will die before this season is over.
