It's my favorite anime and I hope it gets a 3rd season that it deserves! Many fans requested it... And I personally like that manga and anime have different storylines. I get 2 stories of anime I like this way and Anime > manga for me. Oh and btw ppl watch this in japanese, much better then english... I really really hope they will finally make the damn 3rd season!!!! Then a time. Than a comparison. |

The second season was left for character development (in some kind of twisted way), and the third needs to wrap up everything. So what if the anime has turned into a rom/com kind of show? That can be changed in season three, or not. Just because not all people like the adaptation doesn't mean that people won't still like it. Allow for the anime and manga to grow back together, but not become entirely the same as one another. But please, push the plot forward in the direction of the manga. Side note: Why would Gonzo want to let their international fans down just because Japanese people don't like it? It's the international fans that brought the company back from debt, and put them into a tiny boom. |

It's the international fans that brought the company back from debt, and put them into a tiny boom. When it comes to international fans, they are second.what fans don't understand is when anime is made,it's made for the Japanase audience.and when an anime gets licensed, the only money the licensor sees is the license fee.after that, they don't see a cent more.(another thing that fans seem to not understand when the info is out there on the internet.)so just because an anime is popular outside of Japan, doesn't mean it'll get a 2nd or 3rd season.there are one or two exeption(DBZ Kai being one)but that's it.if an anime flops in japan, that's it.so don't expect season 3 or remake, period.the only reason why the 2nd season was so bad was because they had caught up with the manga,so they came up with an original ending.fans didn't like it,and it showed in their sales.and it wasn't the international fans that bought them back from the brink of debt,it was GDH(Gonzo's parent company)and Gonzo's willingness to learn from their mistake. |

This was such a fantastic series! So fun, light-hearted and hilarious! Always good to come back from work and enjoy an episode or two. I signed the petition :D And to all of you elitist manga readers, don't watch the anime if you don't like it. It doesn't take that much intelligence to figure that out, does it? If you want to waste your time trashing the show, then make your own thread so you can all go QQ about it there and not on a thread that is about a HOPEFUL third season. Too many trolls in the world already, I'm sure you can find a place to do it in private. KTHXBAI. |

You also have to understand that they changed some stuff either to make it or a little more interesting (to those who haven't read the manga) or the author had thought about trying it one way in the manga but chose differently in the anime. Because when Ginei had framed Tsukune I liked the anime version for clearing his name (other than saying that she saw everything). |

Dude, I've seen that video before. It's a fake opening, and Rosario + Vampire isn't going to have a third season. If it does, though, I would DEFINITELY watch it, no questions asked. Rosario + Vampire is one of my all-time favorite anime, so why wouldn't I? |

I'm running through the manga a second time (presently volume 9 of season 2, although I'm also reading the scanlations as they're posted). I have to say, with all the content that has been added to the manga, there's no way they could repair the anime's storyline with just another season. It would probably take a complete remake (similar to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood). Otherwise, there's no way to explain the healthy influx of new characters that are critical to the plot, the corrective details placed around Issa Shuzen, the emergence of something far worse than just the barrier around the Academy cracking open... Additionally, as it's been mentioned before, the chances of a third season being produced are slim. Gonzo lost too much on season 2, particularly because the anime's directors and producers had to jump off in a different direction. The author's notes at the end of each volume make note of the fact that while Ikeda was aware of the anime's existence, he wasn't directly involved past submitting the initial story. Beyond that, he was almost entirely wrapped up in drafting an amazing story and illustrations for the manga, which caused several production delays in and of itself (he initially mentioned a new volume was supposed to be released every four months, but because of the content he wanted to add, it got pushed back quite a bit). While I would welcome another season with an open mind, it would have to be done very carefully in order to succeed. As I stated before, a remake would be more believable (and more welcome, quite honestly) |

I love the characters, more than anything. I only enjoyed the first 2 and last 3 of S2 and S1 as a matter of fact aswell. |

People like you are kind of like PC graphags who think games are only good if they have graphics, and look at barely anything else, which is why we get shit games like CoD and Halo that are still popular and have 500 sequels. In case you weren't aware, there are other elements, and several good ones can make up for a bad one. |

I would have to say after reading the manga first and how the characters are so detailed and how they act and represent themselves is very every well done. Switching to the anime now season 1 was well done in my opinion and as for season 2 they really went downhill from there they didn't seem to bring and life to the characters like the manga now the manga will always be better than the anime that's just a known fact!! I think they could have developed the gang more in the anime and not skip so much in season 2. I would certainly love to see a capu 3 just to see where the gang go with school and the new monsters and situations they get themselves into graduation and of course tsukunes decision who does he choose. Now after watching the anime twice towards the end of it looking back this hole lovey dovey stuff the hole "oh Tsukune oh moka" was dam right stupid aload of fan service right there!!!! I feel in the end of the anime I feel Tsukune treated inner moka like garbage say what you will but watch the last 2 episodes and tell me I'm wrong she knows he wants outer moka and allows him to go to the castle and everything he uses inner moka to win his battles for him it's as simple as that the fact is after he fights mokas father he gets the Rosario's and she says "that's not my decision to make" referring to weather to stay like that or go back to outer moka. What kills me is right at the end her famous quote "What are you going to do with that rosary now that you have it" Tsukune has nothing to say speechless!! She then says "prefer her to me then huh" and she knows deep down he will always prefer outer moka. I felt like shooting him through my labtop for being such an idiot to her but we will see who he chooses of course it'll be outer moka we all know that I think I would like to see the mokas get seperated have there own bodies and own life's and do as they please it'd make Tsukune a little easier If anyone is online anytime id love to chat and hear about your opinions Thanks chat soon :D |

As many have said, I am not so sure there will be a season 3 since season 2 did not seem to do so hot. Though, I would not be opposed to watching a season 3. I dont know if i am part of the majority since i truly loved both the anime and manga even though they had their differences. Ive watched many animes but I have never enjoyed one so much that i had to read the manga just so i could have more. The one thing I definitely have to say is, the manga seemed to give more depth to their characters (ESPECIALLY Tsukune!). Anyway I'll continue to keep a tab on the anime and hope they either remake or create a season 3. I just want it to keep going :). Lastly, Nolan14 if you still wanted to chat, I'd be happy to give more of my thoughts and hear yours on both anime and manga. Email-Baddune1451@gmail.com Thanks all! -Baddune |

I want a remake and a season 3....season 3 first though...I watched the anime and it was great in its own way although the manga was extremely good. That's why I want a remake faithful to the manga--a more action packed series. The anime was also pretty good so I want a continuation of it. I heard that there's a slight possibility that there would be a season 3 to this anime since studio Gonzo had animes that had sequels that took more than 5 years to continue. Let's just all hope they have something for us in the next few years ^_^ |

The majority of anime deviate to some degree, some more than others. Whether it's good or not is anyone's opinion. It's a little bit of an exaggeration, but I'm pretty much serious in terms of the relation between the two series. The first season of the anime loosely covers the first 4ish volumes of the manga's first season. With quite a few deviations, the biggest being how the fight with Kouyou ends, which has a huge impact on the rest of the story, & Tsukune doesn't meet Mizore or Ruby until after this fight in the manga. From there it's completely different, the 2nd season of the anime literally has nothing to do with manga & is pretty much just fanservice. |

I would love to see a season 3 but that seem to be almost impossible because after the earthkuake (sorry don't know how to write) they got low on the budget (the company that produces Rosario was producing many other animes i think 4 more) and canceled all the animes that weren't very popular in japan and Rosario+Vampire was one of that.
