| As the day continued, Haku seemed to sense more and more auras. Some were weak, others were powerful beyond measure. He grinned. Walking over to a manhole, he opened it and dropped in, transforming into full snake form, minus the wings he usually had. He slithered throughout the sewers, in pursuit of Takasuke and Reicher. They were interesting prey, and he wondered how they would fare against him. The idea of their bodies excited him, and he increased his speed, racing through the underground sewers of Alteia. His blood lust was high, and he could vaguely smell their scent. He rushed on, pursuing his prey... |

| "Amusing? Hmph, naturally. I'm surprised it took you this long to notice my overflowing charisma," I said in a kind of ironic way. "Anyway, Taka, picking up where we left off, before you almost made me pee myself in terror... the name of the mage I'm looking for is Kuroi". She never actually told me her last name saying something about it being kind of embarrassing and not fitting for her at all. I tried going to Searea a couple times to try and find her but I kinda, sorta, maybe pissed off the Mage Queen when I nicked a ring of hers. I said I was sorry but she still shot me out of the city like a cannonball. |
| Takasuke's eye twitched, well, at least the one that wasn't hidden by the mask. "Takasuke, baka." He said with a light chop to her head. "I see... Well, maybe you should avoid stealing from queens later on. Nobles are one thing, the royal family is another entirely." He responded to her thoughts, having read her mind again. "Kuroi hm? Well, do you wish to look for her again?" He questioned. "Without annoying the queen though." |

| Haku continued through the sewers, faster and faster. The scent was driving him mad with bloodlust. How he longed for such a host. As he got closer, he focused hard, compressing and condensing his aura so that it would not be sensed... He continued on. After a while, he stopped and smiled, looking at the sewer ceiling. His prey was right above him. He coiled his body into a tight knot, preparing to strike from below... |

My thoughts are private, don't go poking around in them without my permission", I scolded Taka as I pointed at him ad pressed my index finger against his chest... its squishier than I thought it'd be... he really should work out more. Though I guess Mages don't really need to train their bodies since they've got that bullshit magic. I sighed and crossed my arms, looking at my feet. I didn't really plan on looking for her or anything... I just wanted to know how she was doing you know? I mean, I'm sure she's forgotten about me by now anyway, she left me behind to become a Mage after all... |
| Feeling strange, Marina sensed a hostile aura, full of bloodlust and hunger for a body. She knew who that person was. Haku, a snake that changed bodies with time. Indeed, Haku would become a trouble in the future. Even more if he were to be able to take this body. Marina looked back to the place where Paradox was. She asked herself if she should interfere or not. A strange sense of responsability came to her. She had to protect this person. She quickly hurried towards the person that was about to be attacked and, after reaching her, walked slowly towards her. "Hey, get out of there." Marina said, pushing the girl away from the sewers manhole. "Be careful, a Snake can attack from anywhere." She said as she looked to the manhole. So that was how Haku usually attacked his victims. How mischiveous and sneaky. |

| "What? Did you think I'd be a giant muscle-head like a hulking knight or something?" Takasuke responded, ignoring her complaints. "And normally, you don't forget about those who once stood by your side. The choice is yours though." He told her. He then looked at Marina. "I see. The snake is concealing his aura and planned to strike from the sewers. Is that it?" |

| "Whoa!", that caught me by surprise, suddenly getting pushed by some weirdo. I stumbled slightly but gracefully cartwheeled a short distance and landed in a standing position. "Seriously!? Again with the snake thing?" I said making the irritation I'm feeling right now very, very clear, "Fuck this...". I primed a charge in one of my gloves, feeling a very familiar tingly feeling in my palm, and placed it against the manhole cover. With a loud deafening sound, akin to a sonic boom, I blew open the manhole along with much of the ground around it. "Come on, were taking care of this..." I said as I grabbed Taka's hand and leaped into the sewer, dragging him with me. |

She told them before she saw Sasha going to the manhole with a very irritated expression, she knew that things would not go well if they kept up in this way. "Wait! What are you going to--" She tried to say before she was interupted by a loud sound. She sighed of the girl's suddenly burst of anger. She then saw that they both had gone underground. "Ah, crap. Seems like I'll have to follow them..." She said as she looked towards the building Paradox should be. "Damn..." She said as she looked back to the manhole and quickly jumped after them. |

| "Well... That's one way of handling things." Takasuke mused as he watched her, seemingly unphased by the boom. "By take care of this I truly hope you don't mean charge blindly at him..." He said although he was already aware that that was indeed her plan. Though, he allowed himself to be dragged into the sewers. "I hope you realize that my type of magic is more for manipulation and not so much for combat." He told her after she dragged him in. |

| Haku just twisted away as he noticed the manhole cover explode. So, the prey becomes the hunter. He grinned, switching into human form, all the while adjusting his suit and tie. He exhaled a poisonous gas from his mouth. It quickly began to spread throughout the sewers. It was odorless, as well as colorless. Haku licked his lips. The poison wouldn't kill them. This was one of his favorites, a poison for the distortion of senses. In a small area like this, my Sense Distortion Poison will do wonders. The echo of the sewers is bad enough as is, but with my poison, let's see how they handle themselves. Oh, how I do enjoy a good hunt.. |

| As I jumped down into the sewers I activated the devices in the bottoms of my shoes, the tingly feeling running up my legs this time. Rather than landing in the dirty water and getting my shoes and socks soaked in crap I hovered slightly above the waters surface like a ninja. "Don't worry about a thing, Taka, Sasha onee-sama will protect you from the bad snake" I told Takasuke as I stretched out my arms. Squishing a tiny snake shouldn't take too long. "And who the hell are you?" I asked, turning my attention to the broad who followed us down. |
| "First of all... You don't even know how old I am. Second, It's Takasuke you damn klepto." Takasuke said with an apathetic yet slightly annoyed tone and another light chop to her head. "And Third, I should be the one protecting you." |

| "Ow! Hey you said yourself that your abilities aren't meant for combat. Or what? Does needing to be protected by a a cute girl like me burn you up inside? Taka...", I said, deliberately emphasizing the shortened version of his name now that I've picked up on him seeming to hate it. When I heard the voice echo through the sewers I nearly jumped out of my skin. "Oh yeah!? Well then come and get some you creepy motherfucker! I'll show you some fun!" I taunted at the top of my lungs as I primed charges in both of my palms, ready to blow away anything that looked at me funny. |
| "No, they aren't meany for combat. They are meant for manipulation." Takasuke told her. "That means I don't have to fight. Winning in my book is simply not getting killed. I could care less if I beat down my opponent in the process." His eye twitched once more. "You know, it may not be best to annoy someone who offered to take you to your little friend." He told her before glancing down the tunnel. "Alright, let's get this over with." |

| Haku inhaled deeply, the bloodlust driving him mad. He exhaled hard, dashing towards them. He steps were quick, and could be heard approaching the group, gaining in speed.. He'd reach them in a matter of seconds.. |

| Sighing, Marina followed them patiently. She was not responding any of their questions towards her since she was not paying attention to anything around her. Instead, she felt worried. What about Paradox? Will he be all right without me? She questioned herself on her mind. She slowly walked behind them before she had noticed what the snake had done. This was only one of his games. She was not going to take him serious and neither did she expected him to take her serious. This snake is full of tricks... How I hate playing his games... She thought once more as she calmly looked around. Before he had even dashed, Marina prepared her swords, that simply formed out of no where. She got in front of both of them and slashed twice, even though he had still not reached them. The slashes created two light fissures that stood for the time being. |

| Haku noticed the two light fissures and smirked. Was that all they had to offer? He continued his advance,charging right through the light fissures that had been created. His body split into three pieces, and collapsed on the ground, fizzing into nothingness. Haku laughed maniacally, as a pair of legs grew from the remaining torso of his upper body. His regeneration skill allowed him to be as reckless as he wanted, granted a few precautions. Haku's advance had stopped, and he stood face to face with Marina, their noses almost touching. His eyes flashed a bright yellow as he stared at her intently, waiting for what she or the others would do. He noticed the swords in her hands. C'mon. I dare youuu.. |

| "Ne, Hebi. You like games don't you?" Takasuke questioned as he turned to him, his cat Kuro jumping into the sewers and onto his shoulder. "How about it? If you win, you can have my body and everything with it. Well, you wouldn't have much of a choice anyhow as I'd force the 'game' onto you should I feel that retreating be the best option. |

| Marina moved her mouth to make a 'tch'. She raised one sword and the sword lightened up with pure and strong light. However... It did not came back down. Instead, the sword created a huge light burst came from the ground. The burst kept going until it hit Haku right in front of Marina. However, she knew that was not all he had for her. After all, he had placed his poison all over the sewers. She knew that this was only the beggining. "We need to get out of here... Now..." She said to the people that she was following. |

| The force of the blow knocked Haku back, and he tumbled back a couple yards before regaining himself and standing up. His entire body was smoking, sizzling from the previous attack. The scent of burned reptilian flesh filled the musty air.. Hmph..Well whaddya know, that actually kinda hurt. Inhaling deeply, Haku formed tiny poisonous acid pellets within his throat, capable of burning through and eating at away at virtually anything. After all, he only needed one body, not multiple. He exhaled hard, blasting a powerful spray of poisonous pellets toward Marina and the others.. |

| Marina quickly slashed her sword to cut the pellets in many, making them fly upwards and towards the ground, some of it stood on her sword. Luckily, her swords were completely immune to any kind of destructive act. The only way to damage those swords would be with heavy god power. She took some steps foward and looked directly at him. As she did so, her wings got out of her back, two wings that were not made of feathers, but magic. The wings had something very similar to a clock. The clocks were all running in a normal speed. Many of them were simply standing still. "I'll say it only once. Go back now and I might give you a chance of living. If you don't, I will certainly kill you." She said with a serious expression that would cause fear to any normal being. Those wings could be easily recognized. The wings of an Angel. |

| Haku grinned. This was beginning to get serious. "A chance of living?" he snickered. "My dear girl...THIS IS LIVING!" At the same time he said that, he transformed into snake form, coiling up into a tight ball. However instead of striking out at Marina and the others, He spit up some acid pellets right above him, then smashed straight up through the sewers and out topside, right into the bustling and noisy heart of Alteia City. The humans began to flee, running every which way. Haku smiled and shot acid pellets at some of them, melting them into liquid pools of acid. Haku's head slid back down into the sewers and smiled at Marina. "Shall we?" He returned topside, releasing his irritation and blood lust on the city and it's people. |

| "You..." She growled as her wings spreaded wide and she flied out of the sewers as well. She looked at the destruction that Haku was causing. That would be a problem, it would only call attention of those who are stronger than him. If Paradox was to lose his time with this menace, he would probably try to finish it fast. However, Paradox was not there now. She would have to buy some time and minimize the damage so that Paradox came to destroy him. She looked right up and Haku and had an angry and serious expression. "How idiotic. Instead of fighting the real enemy like a real myth should, you just keep attacking the weaklings. You're so pathetic." She taunted him as she readied her swords. The clocks on her back started to slow down and so did the world around her. Now, she would be much faster than anything around her. Also, those who got close to her would also slow down, causing them to lose speed and also regeneration rate. She smirked as she awaited for Haku's next attack. |

| Haku snickered. "Oh come now. I'm only having a little fun. After all..It is quite.exhilarating, isn't it? But of course, it seems you want all the attention. Tsk, such a child. But, so be it." Haku's mind raced, thinking of countless scenarios and plans. He was never unprepared. Lack of preparation meant death, and that was not something he was going to let happen. He sank his fangs into the concrete, releasing a reanimation poison. The puddles of liquid that had once been humans began to reform and take shape, turning back into their human forms. Only, there was something different about these. They were mindless, emotionless, and quite slow. They turned towards Marina and began making their way in her direction. Haku watched and waited, burying his tail into the concrete... |

| Marina smirked. She pretty much knew that technique of his. He would use his tail to attack her from the ground. That would not work. She sinked one her swords on the ground and a gigantic clock was created all around the place. The sound of the clock ticking was extremely slow, and so was time. Marina sped up and slashed at all the almost still enemies that she found on her way. In less then seconds, the entire horde of reanimated humans was done for and the clock around the area vanished. She then spread her wings and jumped in mid-air, standing still by using her flight skill. "You call me a child, yet you are the one who is just playing games and 'having fun' instead of taking this serious." She told him as she prepared her both blades, awaiting for his attack once more. As far as she understood the situation, it seemed like Haku was being careful of her. She knew that very well. "What's wrong? Don't tell me you're afraid of me." She taunted once more. |

| Haku laughed menacingly. "Take this serious? Why should I take you seriously? Why should I take anything seriously? I mean really... It's all just a big game.. However, if you insist, then I shall. You should be grateful, as you will be witness to the first of my three great Poisons!" His mind continued to process. Scenario's had failed, while others continued on track. He would improvise if need be, but for the most part, everything was going his way. He remained wary of the group that was still in the sewers, but wasn't too worried. His opponent was definitely capable, but Haku was still unsure of just how skilled she really was. His tail continued to bury into the concrete, deeper and deeper. "Now then..Come. Let us see what you've got.." Haku hissed. He was going to end this, and soon. His scales began to shimmer, and slowly the color began to change from green to purple. It started at his head and began work down his back and the rest of his body. It was a quite slow process, but it had a powerful reward if he could complete the transformation. He only had to be patient... |
