| I think that it's a separate story (different characters, plot/ purpose, etc) but it is happening at the same time as TRACE is happening (ie, same setting - Korea, same ideas - traces and troubles, a few cameo appearances - Mr. Beggar etc). Basically, it's a side story whose purpose is to explain more about the 'Troubles'. Where they came from, what they are, what's under the mask type of thing. |
| A good question would be - how it is NOT related.. It's simply a continuation directly after events of trace 1.. Back when trace started I thought gwon would be main character of the series - but after the introduction of other characters I understood that it's just authors style to reveal an important characters backgroung more deeply. 1.5 concentrates more on evolution of the troubles though. Seems like when trouble dies it somehow shares it's experience with other trouble's. Probably the reason why the rose thorn girl didn't want the trouble to live long was exactly this, since she was somehow related to god's virus kid and should know much more than we currently do about the situation. |
