Kill Me Baby OVA on MAL

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

This is great news to me as only 2 days ago I was talking about how this anime series got so little sales but yet so loved by many people who find it strangely mesmerizing ( http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=644447&show=120#msg24174649 ).

And I don't think I've heard of OVA bundled with a CD album. From the way they market the hybrid product, clearly it is billed as a CD first DVD second item. This is interesting -- just like OAD is made to push manga/LN sales, so now we have OAD made to push CD sales!

Not sure, but there is a movement to revive the anime that has been going on quite a while.... There is also a stream of merchandise still coming out from time to time, with the latest being 40 different mobile phone covers from the franchise.

This anime has a cult following, interesting, if the CD sales are great, a second season may happen, it wouldn't be the first time this would happen.

This series was painful for me but hey if this gets an OVA a year+ later then anything's possible.

Not going to lie, I am surprised since I heard KMB didn't do well in sells.

KMB is quite a unique work in that it sold really bad (<1k) but yet is very well remembered. News about it like those merchandise sales get widespread attention in anime sites and forums in Japan, for example.

The CD is now ranked #17 in Amazon CD ranking. Very good start !!

However since it is grouped under CD category in Amazon, we will not able to see how many it is forecast to sell in Stalker....
