| I was sad! Hiromi didn't have the inspiring personality that Noe did. Perhaps it's because I'm an artist too, and I would take the girl that inspires me to fly over one who doesn't in a heartbeat. I really wanted to see Shin'ichiro with Noe in the end, even after it looked like the decision was made when Jun and Hiromi crashed the bike. Even still, it was a hell of a ride, and one of my new favourites. |

And Hiromi...yeah she's emotionaly secluded and not willing to tell anyone(most importatly to Shin) that she loves Shin.Her denial caused incalculable disturbtion(gf switch:P). After Shin and Hiromi's love come true Hiromi becomes possessive, so it's not a surprise that she asked Noe to stay away from Shin...and why she's a bitch?Because she's somewhat rude to Noe? | If you had a high school girl who climbed trees, and followed you around trying to feed you bird seed(genuinely wanting you to eat it). And constantly talking about flying and tears being taken. Would you honestly say she's just childish? I'm not giving her any breaks because it's a anime, if she was in the real world, behaving that way, she would be classified as being mentally challenged. I can't honestly say "their love came true" Before she made that statement. More like "She was finally ready to start showing her feelings" I believe the kiss came before that, but it wasn't initiated by shin. Shin at this point was still confused as to his feelings. He honestly did love Noe. To me HIromi was more of a infatuation with a ideal rather then a person, and imho they have terrible potential as a couple. And yes, even in love rivalry there can be a bitch. Take a look at tale of memories, would you call the childhood friend a bitch(notice it's always the childhood friend that freaks out. Shuffle too) Where he goes out, and she deletes all the other girls messages off his phone? That's a real bitch move, being love rivals doesn't place you above judgement. |

| to me I saw aiko as being the most normal out of the three. Just like Hiromi she had feelings for him for a long time. The difference was how shin felt. At the time she accepted shins friends confession because of Shins insistance(he practically begged her) and started going out with him. Because of this, she felt trapped in the relationship. And during the course of the show sought a way to break free. In the end she finally got the courage to go for him, sure the kiss was sudden and really hurt the friendship they had. But it was the best way for her to go forward. If she would have simply confessed and been turned down, she probably would have wound up keeping the feelings, but the strong real rejection snapped her out of it. And she actually grew as a character more than the other females. She not only got over her crush, but she was able to move on and try to look at Shin's friend for real instead of just thinking of Shin and tolerating him. The worst possible thing Aika could have done would have been to stay the way it was and just keep her feelings and keep dating the friend. Nobody was going to be truely happy this way. And unless you've been in love, you won't realize you can't just will yourself out of it. If you started to have a crush on your friend, it would never go away, and even if you were seeing someone else yourself you still can't just make feelings disappear, it's why so many affairs happen irl. You get some feelings for someone else, and you give in to those feelings, after you've been satisfied, you can think logically without these feelings, and this is where relationships end. Hiromi, I can blame for everything, first off, she never talked to the father about it. wouldn't a normal reaction to finding out someone may be your dad, and you have a brother, to be to go talk to him about it. It would have resolved all the issues asap. But i really have to wonder, besides Hiromi and the festival, we don't really see much out of Hiromi, why did Shin fall in love with her? She was very cold and distant, and avoided him. Sure he had childhood memories, but he had those too of aika, and from the way it's presented, Aika seemed to be a much bigger part of his childhood. i say they have the worst relationship, is because he fell in love with her image, of what she looked like, and who he thought she was. She practically was a blank slate around him. It felt really forced, like these two were destined to be together despite them not really even being friends for the past year or two. Noe, again is my favorite character. I really liked her and I wanted her to win. But she simply wasn't normal. You have to realize when i say she was retarded, there are varying deegrees of retardation and she is just slightly retarded. I don't mean it offensively, but it's just who she was. She was adorable though so it's easy to love her and not realize her flaws. Even though she was adorable you have to think of her mental capacity versus her age. They were in high school so she was AT LEAST 15/16. Yet she behaved more like a 10-11 year old. It's really easy to forget when your watching anime, since ages and appearance have no ties together(Watch yotsunoha) . About her being his Muse. I'll agree to this. But at the same time, she also was the only girl that he has genuinely interacted with. When did we see anything besides angst from Hiromi, not untill the very end(what she did to make shin her lapdog ill never know) And Aika pretty much was her interacting with him and him being distant. He showed genuine interest in Noe, enough to keep going to her, whereas he was avoiding Hiromi(why? He had no knowledge of the brother/sister thing, he should have been at least talking with her). |

| Hiromi was originally very cheerfull(kinda Like Noe without the her weir thinkings and doings), but after she lost her family she had become somewhat cold...not too mention that Shin's mother treated her as a bitch and even she ensured that Hiomi keep the distance with Shin.... Imagine yourself in her place...i bet very few people are that strong to remain cheerfull and carefree after that... Shin's attraction to Hiromi: If you have seen the flashbacks then it shows that they were very close friends since childhood...His goal all the time was to retain Hiromi's happiness... And Noe: the thing that brings Shin to somewhat love her is the same thing that he liked in Hiromi: her cheerfullness...she was his Muse and Angel of Love... About Noe's personality: Most of the time she shown as childish as 11-12 old...but she has pretty good insights and she seen through the most people well...So i have to say she isn't degenerated just have developed her personality in a very weird way... |

It's just with Hiromi i didn't really get why he loved her and it seemed in the beginning to be one of those idolizing-fanboyish loves. And i've never liked those, and i don't like idolizing-fangirlish loves either. In the end when Shin was saying repeatedly to Noe, that he loves Hiromi, it felt as if he wanted to prove himself that it is so. But still he said, that when he looks at Noe, his heart trembles. Which i took as sign, that she is really important to him and if Hiromi wouldn't exist he'd go with Noe anytime. Going further: Noe was his love, but the director chose Hiromi ;P |

| It's just that Shin fallen in loved with Hiromi before the story started and we've got little amount of flashbacks that only proved that he somewhat loved her as a kid too. For me that was totaly obvious that there's no competiton against Hiromi cause Shin loved her for years...Noe only had chance while Shin thought that Hiromi being with Noe's brother is the best and he should love Noe then. Still the main thing he loved in her was that she's like Hiromi few years ago(exept theextreme childish attitude sometimes). |
