| Kohaku looks up at Lazarus. "Why would I know how to tell it?" She then turns to the child and smiles. "How have you been Little Sun?" The child responds with "Where did you go?" Kohaku says with a forced smile "I went travleing." |

| He walks to Kohaku's parents. "Your daughter will be staying with me for awhile. She will be treated well and will want for nothing" |

| As he talks to them they have frightened looks on their faces. |
|
| He sees their look, then makes sure his wings aren't out. Swtisfied that they aren't, He continues. "I can assure you I am not looking for people to sell as slaves, nor will I sell your daughter as a slave" |
|
| They just nod their heads while continuing to look afraid. Kohaku runs over to them with Lion Pelt following behind. She pulls her parents from Lazarus and talks to them. While she was talking to her parents Lion Pelt walks up to Lazarus. He asks in an angry voice "What do you want with our Kohaku?" |

| "Why, to keep her safe from slavers, of course. What did you think I wanted, little one? |
|
| (Lion Pelt is the cat person around Kohaku's age) He frowns. "You best take care of her or you will have me to deal with." |
|
| With a solemn look in his face He replies "you have my word, small one" (I know, its just how He talks) |
|
| (Okay I was just making sure you knew.) "And one more thing I am not small!" Kohaku walks back over to Lazarus leaving her parents back where they were talking. |
|
| He ignores his last comment as Kohaku walks up. "Are you ready to return?" |
|
| A sad look crosses her face as she looks around. She was holding back her tears. In a sad and strained voice she says "I-I guess." |
|
| He nods at her. "okay, then" To the rest of the cat people he says "Don't worry, I will take good care of Kohaku" |
|
| Kohaku frowns as she and Lazarus are telaported away. |
|
| once they are back at his home, he looks to her and says "So. There are some ground rules that must be followed, otherwise you will be punished in a manner fitting of the broken rule. The first rule is that I am to be addressed as Master, or Master Lazarus. The second rule is that you must always do as I say. The third rule is that you must dress and act like a lady while you are here. I don't have any more rules as of yet, but if you do something that I don't approve of, I will make a rule out of it. Further trangressions involving the new rule will be dealt with accordingly." He smiles at her and leads her to her new room, a lavish ensemble with any amenitie she could need. |

| She looks at him with an angry yet confused look as they walk to the room. Once there her look changes to a look of disgust but she decides to keep her mouth shut for the time being. |
|
| "Does something in the room not suit you, Kohaku?" he asks. |
|
| "It's too fancy looking. Im not the fancy type if you havent noticed." |
|
| "Would you prefer something a little more Spartan?" He asks. "If you like, I can offer you a room to outfit however you see fit" |
|
| Tears come to her eyes. "I-I dont know." She starts to run to where she remembers the door to outside is |
|
| When she gets there, she finds that the door won't open. He appears behind her and speaks softly. "Why did you try running, my pet? Surely you must have realized that the contract you signed wouldn't allow you to leave until the time has elapsed" |
|
| She continues to tug on the door handle without looking at Lazarus. She then desperately says "I need to go outside. I need some fresh air." |
|
| He waves his hand and the door opens. when she goes outside, she finds that she can't go further than 15 feet away from the building |
|
| She takes a few deep breaths. After she walks around a bit and looks around as well. Once she figures out that he is keeping her close she gives him an angry look. "I cant run away anyways you know." |

| "you'd be surprised what some people can do, Kohaku" He says. with awave of his hand he extends the range to 30 feet |
|
| "I can do many things but that doesnt mean I know my way home." She looks around hoping to see a forest. As she walks she enjoys the feeling of grass under her feet. |
|
| She sees a forest off to the left of the home. "Do you want to go in there?" He asks |
|
| She looks at him and nods. |
|
| He smiles at her and nods. He starts walking to the forest then pauses, waiting for her to follow |
|
| She slowly follows him, looking around as she walks. |
|
| He starts walking again, leading her into the woods. "So what can I do to make your stay more enjoyable?" He asks her |
|
| She ignores his question and continues to walk. |
|
| He is slightly annoyed at hr brushing him off so He follows her and decides to ask later |
|
| Her pace quickens as they get closer to the forest. |
|
| They reach the forest and he stops. "Is this what will ake you happy?" He asks her |
|
| Without turning around she asks "what do you mean?" |
|
| "I wnt you to be comfortable and fel at home here. If you being able to go to the forest is wat it wil take, I can live ith that." He says |
|
| Tears start to come to her eyes and she falls to the ground. She starts to tear at the grass |
|
| He kneels beside her and places an arm on her shoulder. "What's wrong Kohaku?" |
|
| She slaps his arm away from her. SHe gets up to run away, knowing she needed to be alone to think. She didn't want his help or kindness. She needed her own kind. |
|
| He grabs her upper arm with lightning speed before shecan run off. "If that's how you're going to act toward me, I think you'll have to be taught a lesson in manners." She feels dizzy as the world around her melts away. The next thing she knows, she is ack in the room Lazarus apointed for her. |
|
| She looks around the room with a dazed expression. |
|
| A wavering image of Lazarus appears in the room. "You must learn some respect and manners before I am able to let you outside." The voice says in a tinny tone. "When you can learn that, you will be free to roam about the grounds." Then the image wavers and disappears, leaving her in silence. |
|
| She instantly gets angry at Lazarus. She rushes to the door and . SHe opens it she looks down the hall ways and sees a vase that looks rather expensive. She decides she has been nice to him long enough and gets a smirk across her face. She starts to walk towards the vase. |
|
| When she gets to the vase, she finds that she cannot lay her hand on it, no matter how hard she tries. Luminescent script appears before her. "I don't think that destroying my property would be very respectful of you. If you would like to talk to me, you can come to my study. ~L" A map appears afterward, showing the way to his study. |
|
| She falls to the floor in anger. She goes the opposite way of the study and looks around for a way to get rid of some anger. |
|
| He is sitting in his study watching her go the opposite direction. She is amusing him slightly, but he wonders to himself why she is being a petulant brat. He decides to watch her a little more. |
|
| As she walks tears come to her eyes. She then looks at the walls and makes her nails grow into claws. |
|
| 'so she is going to claw my walls, I see' he thinks to himself. 'I need to find a way to keep her in line' He teleports himself to her home island, and looks for Kohaku's parents |
|
| At Lazarus' house Kohaku starts to claw at his walls. Back at her home island her parents were out hunting and not at the village. Lion-Pelt sees Lazarus wandering around though and walks up to him confused. He angrily says "Why are you here?" |

| Lazarus looks down at the child. "I need to speak with Kohaku's parents. do you know where I can find them?" |
