| Blaze place shifted before Rin. It looked like he was being burned to ashes, but the flames covered the sight. "Don't worry.", he said as he tapped her shoulders, "If you don't want to go, don't.", he said and smiled, "I'll help you with all my might." |
| "I don't wanna go back! They aren't my parents. So they aren't in charge of me! They aren't nice and they don't like me! I'm never allowed to leave and they always blame me if something goes wrong." Rin cried hugging his leg. Aki patted her back. "It is true. They do worse than what she's saying." Aki said sighing. |
| "Rin..", Blaze said. He let out a sigh as he was searching for the right words. Suddenly, he shook Rin off of him, "Weak-willed fool.", Blaze said. He engulfed his fist in flames and grabbed Rin by her chest, "Tell me. You wouldn't mind it if I'd punch you right now, do you?", Blaze readied his fist, "You're already giving up anyways." |
| "I don't care they do it all the time. It won't hurt.." She mumbled lookong down. |
| "My punch doesn't hurt.", Blaze said, "It kills. I will ask you once again. You wouldn't mind if I'd punch you right now, do you?" |
| "I don't wanna die." She said determined. |
| "That's what I wanted to hear.", Blaze said and let go of Rin. The flames dissolved and his arms were relaxed again. "Now gather yourself together. I'm here and before anything happens, I will be the one going down while you run away." |
| "You can't do that for me! You don't even know me!" |
| "I do know you. Rin, right?" |
| "I haven't met you before... Or have I?" She asked. |
| "Pretty introduced me to you at the lake. So I know you." |
| She nodded at Pretty. "I understand. And I guess you do.." She said. |
| Blaze smiled, "Yeah. Show us what you can do.", Blaze challenged her, "I'll be your sparring partner." |
| "I don't know them. The people I lived with never showed me.." Shesaid. |
| "Is that bad? I sometimes get mad and I feel hot." She said to them. |
| "It is.", Blaze said, "Everyone from the Sayge Clan must know how to control fire." |
| Rin sat down and put her toes in the lava. She closed her eyes. Rin concentrated and felt her hand become hot. She opened her eyes and saw her hand on fire. "I did it!" She said happily. "I'm just like Pretty-chan abd Blaze-kun!!" She smiled. |
| "You're not even close to being me.", Blaze said, "But good job.", he praised her and patted her head, "I'm sure you're going to master the element." |
| "Thanks. One day i'll be as strong as you." She said. |
| Blaze wasn't amused by what Rin said. He wasn't touched either. What he had to give up for the power he got now, he didn't want anyone to walk the same path as him. "No Rin, You'll be stronger than me on day..", Blaze said. As I did not earn this mastery like most people would. Rin.. you'll become even better than me in controlling fire... earning that control the right way. |
| "I hope I do. Right Aki." She asked her pixie."You can do anything you want. Right Blaze?" Aki asked. |
| "What do you guys mean?" She asked confused. "You're nice and hapoy to me." |
| "You can do anything you want. That's true, Rin.", Blaze answered. He smiled. The girl thought that their lives were normal. "Rin. I'll answer one of your questions every time you master a technique." |
| "I'll try my very best." She said to Blaze. |
| "I don't care. I wanna stay. You two are nice and you've taken xare of me this far." She said smiling. |
| Pix flew over to Rin. "He wasn't always like this.", Pix whispered to Rin and then sat on her shoulders. |
| "What do you mean Pix?" She asked confused. |
| "Why don't you ask him yourself?", Pix replied, "Remember what he promised you?" "Heh. Teacher?", Blaze said, "I guess so.". Blaze created a fireball bigger than an average one, "Let's start with controlling.", Blaze commanded the fireball to slowly approach Rin. "Return that back to me." |
| She caught the ball with her hands and tossed it back to Blaze. "Pix told me you weren't always like this. What does Pix mean?" She asked. |
| Blaze looks at Rin, a bit surprised by what she asked. "Heh. About my past?". Blaze sent the ball back before it had come close to him, "Try doing it before it gets close to you.", Blaze instructed. "About your question. I told you to master a technique before asking me anything." |
| "How do I do that?" She asked catching it and tossing it back again. |
| "Concentration.", Blaze replied as if it was the easiest thing in the world, "I'll slow it down some more.", he added before sending the ball back to Rin, slower than before. |
| She focused on the fire ball. She caught it before it got too close to her. She sent it back. |
| "Even slower.. I guess.", Blaze said and turned the ball back to her. It was moving even slower this time. "Concentrate on the ball.", Blaze said, "Imagine it turning to a direction.". Before the ball came close to Rin, it split in two and sped up. "Think fast!" |
| She focused one fire ball to turn five feet in front of her. The other one she had to catch and throw back. |
| "Not bad, Rin.", Blaze said, "Let's go again.". Blaze resend the 2 balls to Rin. "There's a trick to this game." Blaze noticed the ball being thrown at him by Pretty. The ball got returned to Pretty in an instant. |
| She focused again. Both balls turned but closer than the first. "What's the trick?" She asked. |
| "I told you the rules about asking me something, right?" |

| "Not really." Rin said. |
