LISA'S IDEAS + PLANS~! These are just IDEAS. They are totally flexible, totally arguable if anyone disagrees. Don't hesitate to object, don't hesitate to add more ideas. If we can come to a complete agreement, then all these plans will be brought up on Wednesday, December 10th. I just wanted to lay down ALL my ideas. These aren't solid and they are not official until I get some good input. AMV Contest: On December 10th, the first annual AMV contest will be announced. Those who are interested will be given a form with guidelines and the submission process. We'll have an AMV party January 07th where we'll kick back, ask everyone to bring their chairs around the Prometian Board and just watch everyone's AMVs. Hopefully chips, drinks, POSSIBLY pizza will be provided [not guarenteed though]. The only way people can get chips and drinks is if they bring their chair up and watch the AMVs :P [otherwise, everyone will just ignore the AMV's and fiddle with their computers like last week q_q;;] Once everyone has watched all the AMV's, they'll go on MAL to vote and the winner gets a cool Naruto Shippuden Movie DVD and their video shown on JAG TV [maybe...]. Voice Acting Session: On December 10th, we'll have our first little Voice Acting Session where a random anime clip is pulled up. The voices will be removed, so only BGM and SFX are playing. Two people will be given a mic and asked to improv lines on the spot. Just like making a parody movie, cept on the spot. Anime we plan to use are Haruhi, Lucky Star, Clannad, and Dragon Ball Z. We'll prolly have these once a month if everyone thinks they're really fun [WHICH THEY WILL BE <333] Art Contest: If you walk around the room, you can find a LARGE amount of members love to draw anime! So why not have a contest? The theme will be Fuuko, who is our mascot. [For those who do not know Fuuko, watch this clip and you shall instantly fall in love with her]. Winner wins... a cool prize? XD and their art will be featured on our flyers! or something like that... but this won't be til late January :P Fundraisers: Okay, so to provide ourselves with Pizza and cool prizes we can't exactly pay everything ourselves... I don't think any of us are THAT nice. On Wednesday, December 10th I'll briefly bring up fundraisers and what we plan to use the money for. Obviously, our biggest goal with fund raising is to raise enough money to go to Otakon for free. or at LEAST a good reduced price. But everyone needs to be dedicated, come up with great ideas, and sell like crazy so we can raise at LEAST 600$$. We have 40 members... assuming that MAYBE 20 will be dedicated, that's enough to cut the price in half [paying 27$ instead of 55$]. Also have to take in consideration that some people aren't allowed to go to anime conventions... so covering about 20 people seems reasonable. Anyways, it'll be mention it really briefly on Wednesday the 10th, but on the 17th, we'll start a Fundraising committee and go into a more grounded discussion about fund raising so that we can start RIGHT when January hits. Phoenix Wright Mock Trial: This is just a consideration, but a really fun idea. If we're going to do a Phoenix Write Mock Trial, it's best to do this in February since a lot will be happening in January as it is. Umm... some examples so people can get a good idea... here and here. My only concern is that no one knows what Phoenix Wright is... but I mean, it'll still be fun. Learning Japanese: MAYBE. This will be a real bitch to plan out. But like... 90% of the people in the club want to learn Japanese, so I mean, if we say we'll teach them japanese chances are they'll be excited. If we go through with this, someone else has to be in charge of it, not me plz ~_~;; IRL Video Advertisement: If we get together and make a video like this, it'd be funny as HELL. Oh man XD. and of course...screening anime: lalala self evident. For all the meets where we don't have events planned, we marathon anime. Okay... it's nearly 12:00 am and I have a feeling I'm leaving out stuff... but whatever, i'll post it when it comes to mind XD but this is all just my rough ideas <3 |

If not, we'll catch the opportunity next Halloween. ALSO. PLEASE KEEP THE FOURMS ACTIVE UNTIL WEDNESDAY I'll bring up the forum in our next meet this wednesday and tell people to fill out the survey and check out the forums. From there, HOPEFULLY the forums will be more active but it won't work if people walk into a... y'know...abandoned forum. |
