| I think the contrast with this chapter and the usual pattern for chapters actually worked out quite nicely. If they just keep everything completely gory and morbid it would lose its effect after a while. It's better if they throw in the odd chapter like this to keep us on our toes... |

| GREAT chapter, and everyone who believes otherwise simply doesn't understand the humor of this story. The stories are funny not because Fran is some evil monster who goes out of her way to injure people, but rather, because she genuinely believes she's helping humanity, and doing what's right for her patients, but most of the time, it all goes horribly wrong. In this chapter, we see that she is, at heart, a good person. Even when the director insults her, instead of becoming angry or hurting him, she accepts his decision, and leaves. Ultimately, everything she did was to save a life. And while it was predictable, the part where she's doing another ghastly operation says "The doctor called me a monster!" with outrage was very funny. Also, it's nice to see the director reads the manga, too! |

| I loved how the Director of Medicine knew about Fran's exploites by reading them in the Manga he's starring in! Argh! Fourth Wall Falcon Punch! More smiley Fran, I love her stitch smile, with her big eyes and twin-bolts (instead of twin-tails). She is soooo goofy-cute! |

| Her intentions are pure but the outcome... often the opposite. It was nice to see a happy ending for once~ Fran didn't get cash or additional fame outta this but at least she did what was right for Kaya-chan. I thought at first that Jerald would be very shaky and reckless in the operation because of his eyes. I lol'd when I saw that the Director read the first volume too. Fran cut the 4th wall open with surgical precision xD |
