A "prank"? Well, that sure didn't look like one to me.

Hina definitely did the right thing. Just let that dude go.

Hina's and Youkadou's relationship was tainted with subterfuge from the start. At the very least, Youkadou can move on from such an ugly situation. At best, he can develop true love for Maruetsu, whom I think fits him well.

As for Hina and Kazuki...I'll never deny that what Hina did was wrong, even if it was in response to Kazuki doing the same thing. However, the fact that it was made possible by Kazuki's preceding actions absolves her at least a bit. To cheat on someone is to put a knife in that relationship, saying that someone else is desired instead of the person cheated on. Again, and to put it simply, you don't say you love and want to stay with someone by cheating on them. By cheating on Hina with Mai, he elevated Mai above Hina.

Of course, by going after someone else as Hina did, you aren't saying you want to continue the relationship, either.

This isn't to say that a relationship gravely injured by infidelity is incapable of being saved and healed--it'd take effort from both parties, even in this case. But Kazuki, for one, isn't properly accepting responsibility for what he did. He may have confessed, but only because Hina revealed that she knew already (according to my memory). To this latest chapter, he still seems most focused on getting Hina back and getting away with what he did--rather than accepting responsibility, seeking her forgiveness, and then trying to continue with her from there.

I can't imagine how this is going to proceed.
