| Hello new members! This is the official thread to discuss which new anime series the club should follow as a group; the approach will be similar to a book club. After the first episode of each new show has premiered, the club will vote as a whole on which show they would like to follow. We will discuss the selected show and its new episodes each week. We will follow a maximum of three shows, which I'd like every member to watch and participate in discussing. For now, before the spring season starts, why don't we go ahead and discuss the trailers that have already been release? The shows that seem interesting at first glance to me are: - Shingeki no Kyojin (to be honest the screens I've seen of it so far look pretty crazy, although I hope the story will be interesting as well) - Aku no Hana sounds like it has a lot of potential - Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko sounds like a fun watch - Suisei no Galgantia because the story is by Urobuchi who also worked on Madoka Magica and Psycho-Pass - Oreimo Season 2 I will be watching anyway since I have another friend who will be discussing it with me - Higurashi because I like the psychological / thriller mixed with horror Of course I am also open to watching other shows. |
| I've heard some pretty good things about Higurashi but haven't actually watched it myself. I'll check out the first few episodes before the spring season. I'm looking at about the same that you are, Suffocate. I'd watch Hentai Ouji for a fun watch; also considering Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge for how ridiculous it seems and Arata Kangatari for something lighter. Would you guys want to do maybe 2 more serious shows and a comedy? |

| Alright, so thinking over how many we should follow, I say we should do three total instead of three more... My mistake, haha. I think it would be better to focus on three instead of getting overwhelmed with too many. I'll make a new thread with a poll after we discuss further! |

| I don't quite get it, do we wait until all the new animes are out, and just choose one anime to talk about, like a book club. Or is it just like random shiz you want to talk about? EDIT:I read it over and understand now lol |

We should probably do animes that have different airing dates. i.e: Monday, Wed, And Fri, so we have a more activities. but i guess we could always just add new things to the club EDIT:I will probably watch all the anime of this season though EDIT: Here are the three i want I feel these would be interesting to disscuss, all of these animes cover a different genre, and the date thing as i mentioned. |

| I will moust probably watch over 10 animes of this season (But not before they are finished araing i can't stand to watch only 1 episode a week).And there are 3 animes of this season that i hawe especially big expectation, and they are: Shingeki No Kyojin Date a Live Hyakka Ryouran samurai bride |

| I'll be watching about fifteen to twenty series this season so it almost doesn't matter which three are picked to follow and discuss here. Haha! Can't wait to vote and pick some. Though the three that I think might be the most fun to discuss would be Karneval, Shingeki no Kyojin and Oregairu. I'm also really looking forward to Mushibugyou and Arata Kangatari. |

| I was planning to watch Kyojin, Valvrave and Gargantia in any case, but am looking forward to discussing whatever we end up choosing, especially the types of series I usually wouldn't watch by myself. :) |
| I'm really looking forward to: Aku no Hana ( heard a lot of good things about it on another board ) Suisei no Gargantia ( the writer of Madoka called it his "masterpiece" ) Higurashi Does anyone know wether Higurashi is a movie or a series? |

| giving my vote for Shingeki no Kyojin. it's the only show that really caught my attention out of the list; not including higurashi or dbz considering they're both movies so we technically couldn't "follow" them this season. that aside for the other 2 i'd be up for just about anything. i'm not really too picky when it comes to anime. |

| I'm probably gonna watch a lot of stuff but I will also follow whatever everyone else decides to. I also need to take a better look at that list, but I like a lot of different stuff so I'm not too worried about it. I am interested to see how all this plays out. Don't really have any friends in the real world that are into anime so something like this sounds like fun. |

| Is Devil Survivor 2 a sequel or is it just based on a game with that name? I'd prefer not to do any sequels this season so we can make sure the show is accessible to all the members. |
