| It appears that we are getting the "Tempest" ending rather than the "Hamlet" ending. I'm quite happy with that. My guess is that the next chapter will be an epilog, and so the manga and the anime will end in the same month. If so, it's been a great ride. |
| BTW - Did you notice that this was the first issue in a long time where ZnoT wasn't prominent on the cover? There were only a couple of chibi figures of Mahiro and Yoshino at the lower left. But I did love the 2-page colour opening to the chapter - that was quite retro-delic, although it looks more like something that ought to be in "Discommunication"... (and gawd - Hakaze looks so delicious there LOL ) And I am still pondering the chapter title, "The Dream's Ending"... |
| Ha - I just noticed the front fold-out poster by Hiromu Awakawa - a cross between FMA and ZnoT, with Ed and Al on a train with Mahiro and Yoshino. I guess from the ties that they are all classmates. Man - I'd hate to be their homeroom teacher! LOL |

We'll still have more Zetsuen related in Shonen Gangan since there's some posters left by other famous mangakas. I'd love a spin-off with Hanemura's path towards gaining Yu-chan's affection again lol My bet is that poor Hanemura is still out of luck at the end because, of course, he played the "Mage of Zetsuen" in disguise. Why would his ex believe him if he claims to have been the Mage? LOL |
| I just re-read the chapter more closely and there were two things that I didn't notice on first reading: 1 - I should look at the colour pages more closely - the first colour page after the Character Outline page says "Climax" in English in large letters... (I could claim that I was too intent on reading the Japanese to read the English, but I'll be honest instead and admit that I missed it completely... LOL) 2 - Samon finally looks a bit vindicated as he watches the Tree of Beginnings fade away. The poor sob had a tough time but he was right in the end |
