| Wolfgang leads the four Master's up several flights of stairs, before finally reaching the correct floor. It was a hall, ending in a small lounge type area, which numerous doors on each side. The hallway was one of the many sleeping quarters that the Manor housed. He stayed silent as he walked, speaking only to tell each of the Master's which room was theirs. |

| Cathy hesitated.She would kill to make a phone call,to hear Maria and Elise bicker endlessly,but she will not take the risk to phone from inside the Einzbern manor;her identity,as ambiguous as it is,she will keep it hidden for as long as possible - on magic alone,it can be simply assumed she is a rogue heretic Church agent. |

| As soon as Caius entered his room, he got to work. He opened his Grimoire, and went to a small desk in the room which fortunately had already stocked in it paper, pencils/pens, and tape. He opened his Grimire and began meticulously copying one of his family's circles... the Circle of Silence. When placed on all walls, ceiling, and floor the circles react with one and other sound proofing the room. Now no one in the house can hear any noise coming from his room... whether it be magical or physical. He then took the same pen and looked through Grimoire... and began hanging several pieces of paper taped together in a Circle with a large Heptagram in the middle with each point. He hung this circle on the wall as well.... |

| Catherine looked around the room she was given;everything was suffocatingly comfortable and absolute luxury.A cream and beige color scheme,on light,honey-colored wood.Elegant,indeed,but infuriatingly so.She briefly wondered just how rich the Einzbern are,before taking a second thought and she decided she'd rather not know. "Hmm." she murmured to herself,turning on the lights and drawing closed the blinders.She locks the door,and opens the closet;her clothes have been moved in there."They got a grip on us,and they aren't letting go...just what did I sold myself to?" she mumbles,feeling trapped.Extracting a change of clothes,she enters the adjacent bathroom,feeling the need of skin-scrubbing. |

| With his 1 huge circle with a heptagram constructed from at least a dozen papers now hanging from the wall, he pulled out from the cover of his Grimoire... seven copies of the Servant Cards. He threw the 7 cards into the air where the hung almost suspended in time... before flitting across the room with each one getting stuck fast to one of the corners of the heptagram circle. The lines and runes of the circle began to glow red as the servant card gloed white... and from each card came a black sillohuete of the heads of his Servants... his wonderful Servants. Sitting indian style on the floor now, Caius said with an honest smile full of real joy as he "Good evening... my friends". For they truly were his friends, besides the Butler and a few Maids, Caius had not ever really contacted the outside world too much. Thus for the past year or so after being invited to the Ritual... he summoned his 7 Servants and became close to all of them over that time. The 7 Servants greeted him as such: (The conversations continued like this for the most of the night...) |

| Cui silently followed the butler, Wolfgang, as he showed everyone their rooms, making note of where everybody was supposed to be staying. Unlike most of the others, he decided to wander the grounds before heading off to his room. As he wandered through the estate's garden he pulled out his smartphone and sent out an email to his some of his more-trusted contacts. They responded back fairly quickly, just before he had completed his trip around the premises. As he walked into the room, he pulled out his phone again and looked at what he had received- a fairly well-put-together series of dossiers on each of the other participants. The only one that wasn't well-detailed was for the girl named Cathy, something just felt... amiss. Whoever that person was, she was able to keep her information fairly secret- she must have connections to some big organization. "Hmmm..." Cui muttered aloud. "Should I pay her a visit?" He let that thought mull over in his head for a few long seconds before he stood up to his feet suddenly and said, "Yup, I'll do it." He walked out of his room and lightly rapped on Cathy's door so as not to disturb the others. |

| Catherine had a rather nice bath;warm water was nice for frozen nerves.As she dressed in night clothes (emerald green shorts with matching camisole),she stopped for a moment to look at herself in the mirror;she didn't know what to feel. To feel proud of the scars that proved what a survivor she is,or ashamed of the blood that stained her hands as she fought for survival?"I'm such a joke." she quietly concluded,turning away from her reflection. A light knock on the door disturbed her thoughts as she dried her hair with an overly-fluffy towel;she approached the door with caution,letting the towel on the bed.She opens it,coming face to face with the overly-friendly participant. A perfect,crimson eyebrow rises."Yes?" she inquires,eerily quiet. |

| "Hello there!" Cui said with his ever-present smile. He raised his hands in a gesture of peace. "Don't worry, I'm not here to cause trouble. I just want to chat. May I come in?" |

| "Thank you," Cui said. "May I say that you look beautiful, by the way." He stepped into her room and sat in one of the nearby luxurious chairs, making himself at home. "I would continue the pleasantries but you don't seem much the type, so let me cut to the case: you interest me. I'd like to know more about you. Of all the other Masters here, you're the only one whose dossier seemed a bit off. It was a bit too well-put-together, if you ask me. Plus, I can feel everyone's suspicions and distrust of me- not that they have their concerns in the wrong place, of course." |

| Catherine made herself comfortable across from him.Her eyes were cold,calculating."You're one to talk." she simply replied."You reek of suspicion,dear.And unless I was informed wrong,you're a professional killer of your own kin." Cathy adds,placing the cards on the table figuratively. "All you have to know is that I can and yet cannot kill you." she concludes after a moment;"But I guess truth is going to be unrevealed sooner or later.What would you like to know;my three sizes?Blood type?Profession?" she mocks,tone frigid,voice silent. |

| "Oho!" Cui exclaimed, his eyes widening a little and his smile growing slightly larger. "I'm happy to hear that I wasn't the only one doing my research after all! And now that it seems I've been caught red-handed, I guess there's no point in hiding it from you. Yup, I'm a professional mage killer. It's both my job and my entire life- was my entire life until now. As much as it sucks to admit it, I'm not out to get any of your guys' heads; I'm just here to play the Eizberns' little game." He took a second to cross his legs and place his hands in his lap. "As far as info goes, your three sizes would definitely be a plus but in all seriousness, I want to know your stake in all of this. Why fight for the Grail? What would your wish be if you won? As sweet as Lillisviel might be, she's still nothing but a puppet and Caius, he seems to be only motivated for revenge or power. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he decided to try to destroy the damned thing like what happened in Fuyuki City a while back." |

| Catherine sighed heavily after minutes of thought."Then I'll be honest as well.I am Ekaterina Saint-Basil,former Executioner,serving under the Russian branch.As it's noticeable,even after leaving the agency I still have connections in it;my purpose here is a dual one,I guess.My intention is to win the Grail and thus prevent it from falling in wrong hands.As for wishes,I frankly have none." she quickly summarized,nearly seeming bored. |

| Caius sneezed "Aaaachoo!" Lancer said "Bless you" Archer "I think someone is talking bad about you..." Saber "Maybe, maybe not... where I come from, ones ears ring when someone is talking about you" This launched a series of conversations irrelevant to the Ritual and the Grail Wars... |

| Lillisviel was shown to her room, the same room she had lived in since she arrived at this Manor. She had changed into her nightgown, and was lying on her bed, thinking. The meeting with Grandfather could have gone better. She couldn't believe Caius had threatened him. She would have acted as well, had she not known of the Avenger that protected him. She did liked the Avenger. It was scary, and gave of a weird aura of hatred and malice. She bid the thoughts from her mind, knowing that she shouldn't dwell on it. Signing she turned over in her bed. She closed her eye's and slept. Tomorrow the Grail Royale would begin. |

| "Hmmm? Well aren't you the interesting one?" Cui said with a slightly lifted eyebrow. "How about this: why don't we form a little alliance? I personally don't have any stake in the Grail- don't want any part in it even- and I'd trust you having it over the other two. If I win, I'll give you the Grail. All I ask for in return is a chance or few to get to know you better. What do you say? Would you like some company tonight? And maybe some wine to ease your tension and loosen your lips?" |

| Catherine didn't know why,but she agreed - perhaps she wanted to screw up once in a lifetime? The morning came,and somehow found Catherine laying ontop of Cui,on her very own bed,empty glasses and bottles on the coffee table.A soft knock from Wolfgang woke them,informing it is time for the First Match. |

| Caius awoke the next morning on his own, he fell asleep on the floor still chatting with his friends all night. He collected his cards and destroyed all the circles... just in ti me for the First Round to begin. "Show Time" said Caius in anticipation. |

| Lillisviel was already awake when Wolfgang came, having gotten into the habit of rising early for study. Today was the first round of the Grail Royale held by her Grandfather, and today would mark her first ever Battle. Accordingly, she had chosen to dress in the formal white clothes of the Einzbern's. A dress, with light blue markings running across it's length. She had thought long and hard as to which Servant she would field, and had finally decided on Assassin. While some may consider it a strange choice, it would be stupid to play her strongest hand so earlier in the tournament. Beside, Assassin wasn't as weak as people thought. Ready, she stepped out the room and stood beside Wolfgang, who was waiting to escort everyone to the Arena. |

| Catherine poked Cui's stomach lightly."Wake up,we have to go." she hissed tiredly,feeling a small headache.She got out of bed herself,yelling "One moment!" towards Wolfgang,door still closed;she opened the closet,pulling out a pair of form-fitting jeans black in color and a green blouse to match.Aiming for the bathroom,she was dressed and fresh as new in less then two minutes. Hesitantly,she opens the door,greeting both Wolfgang and Lily,"Good morning" . |

| "Well that's a lot less sexy of a way to wake me up than I expected..." Cui mumbled, instantly wide awake at the light poke to his stomach. He hopped out of bed, picked a place out of sight and stayed perfectly still, using his Infiltration spell to conceal himself. The spell should be more than enough to hide his presence unless they used some sort of high-level scanning spell. He waited until they Cathy left with Lily and Wolfgang before slipping past everyone undetected and rounding a corner in the hall. He deactivated his Infiltration spell when he was sure no one was watching and took a moment to compose himself so that he didn't rouse much more suspicion than usual before happily greeting everyone. Not surprisingly he was the last one to arrive but now that everyone was present, Wolfgang escorted them to where they would hold the first match of the Grail War. |
