THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
The highlight in this episode seems to be a talk between the coach Hanashima and one of the Furuya brothers, Ryuuji (this coming almost in the end, after the previous events of this episode)

Next episode: one more game for the Predators team ;)

Loving Ryuuji. He was so cute, somehow.

Did the director or art change? Felt different than normal for some reason.

Another great episode. A bit emotional, but still great. Waiting for next Predators match.

I thought that Shou had turned into a stud overnight. I mean his popularity with the 3 girls was akin to a J-Leaguers' power to attract women.

But then, it turns out the girls were actually interested in the triplets. HAHA!!

The part where Hanashima meets his former student made me tear up, especially when the he runs off in the street and goes down on his knees, crying.

Hanashima is now a man who is free from the past that haunts him, and I hope it stays that way.

Overall, a very inspiring and motivating episode. Hanashima's determination for himself, his team and the kids says it all.

Christ, I just have to laugh at how moronic this is. This series, along with Area no Kishi, has sacrificed logic, sense and realism for drama. That does not equal a good sports anime. Not even Lionel Messi is capable of effortlessly creating own goals. You do not become blind after hitting the SIDE of your head off the goal post. That kind of nonsensical idiocy is why this and AnK are awful messes.

God, why can't all football anime being on the same level as Giant Killing?

The moment i saw the colours of the presents i was like TRIPLETS ! lol. Sorry Shou. Indeed Ryuuji's ability to make the ball go into the goal as an own goal is amazing , probably one of the most interesting ways to score a goal.

Shou-kun got trolled! 3 cute little girls, all in love with the triplets instead!

Don't worry Shou! You don't Erika!

Ryuuji was cute in the end! Acting like a normal high hoped kid, looking forward to his dreams! I'm sure Ryuuji will influences the other triplets!

Highlight: emotional crying man!

Good episode and I'm glad that Hanashima isn't going to try to make the triplets play differently.

@HammersFan10: Lol. Sorry, but I have to laugh at your whole statement. Since when does (every [sports]) anime have to so be serious?

So many tears IDEK. ;u;

@ Hammers : This is an anime targetted for kids. It's also shonen. Those two clues in and of themselves should clue you into what kind of series this show should be.

Wow, I was so sure, that the whole thing about the Furuyas "not playing nice" would result in a big lecture, that taughts the kids at home respect and all that typical stuff.
Never would've thought, they would go for "just do what you want, son". That's pretty impressive, because the series tries something different.

Therefore, pretty good episode.

Glad that Youhei is still playing football after that injury. Now we only need to find out how Hanashima got hurt.

"Your sight, my delight. Will you marry me?"

When the coach met Youhei again I cried, especially when he ran and when down on his knees and cried. Such a good episode.

Decent series so far. One thing I really don't like though is the political correctness in this show when it comes to gender. This series very much glosses over the fact that males have much more physical potential than females. Although considering the ages of the characters it is a bit more understandable since those differences don't manifest until a bit later. Shou is also too much of the typical annoying idiot hero.

Erika's expression at Shou when the presents weren't for him xD

The feels when the coach dropped on his knees and cried.

Ryuuji also got some focus, nice.

Probably the best episode so far. It managed to be funny, sweet and emotional without forcing.
