Karas appreciation

I find Karas was a really good anime. The CG was really good, the action scenes were awesome & the ending was moving. The story isnt simple & well explained but it's a good concept, because usually they explain it all to you somewhere in the first episodes, but in Karas, you have to find it out yourself. It,s not too complicated, but you shouldnt watch this when youre sleepy. What I prefered was the action scenes, seriously, they were really cool. Yeah, it CG so it's pretty simple to make something great, but I find it was giving the viewer the fealing that you,re living yourself these actions. Also, the extras were you see how the skeleton & raw images of these CG is made is really cool :) We see that there are really a lot of special effects in this anime, even on the takes that are not CG.

Even thought it didn't deliver any groundbreaking characters or plot, it summed it all up in an artistic, unchronological anime series polished with refreshing CG and animation quality.

I greatly enjoyed it.

It's a mix of Matrix, Ghost in the Shell with the stereotypical angel/demon magic conflict without the obnoxious morality of good/evil.

the concept was amazing but I think it couldve been much better. I didnt like the CG parts for some reason...probably becuz I hated the music in the CG parts when he turns into karas.
Overall very decent, but the concept has much more potential.

I don't think I've seen a movie (animated or live action) with better action than this. I think I would have preferred it being maybe a 13 episode series with more story and character development, although that would probably cut into the fight sequence budget.

I just watched a clip of the intro, it looks pretty cool. I'll check it out.
