Akane threw a shirt at him "put on a shirt please." She turned and led the room, and annoyed look in her navy blue eyes as she took her hair and placed it under a hat. She had no time to fix it and this was how she normally dressed.

Akane stiffened, her navy blue eyes frozen over with terror. The last time this happened...her father died. He hadn't even done anything wrong, he had been falsely accused. Kira had killed him and it had devistated her entire family. She looked at her hands, trying not to show her fear.

"That can't be possible," Thomas said, his voice was steady. All sign of fear had disappeared, "Kira was announced dead to the public. There has been impostors in the past, you said so yourself, but they're just that. Impostors."
Near's smile grew thin, "They aren't an impostor. This person has a reason to do it and there are two. One without one with. The "real" Kira, in this case, is timid. They're afraid. They make sure the criminals are real before they kill. The other Kira...they're ruthless. Anyone that crosses their path will die. That's how this game is working thus far." He knocked over a pawn that was standing on his desk.

Thomas rolled her eyes, "It's nothing to be worried about Near. If she is the real Kira then--" Thomas's phone vibrated. He took it out of his pocket and glanced at the text, then put it away. "If you think she's the real Kira then we'll watch her. Although I don't see the need to do so. If she's killing real criminals."
"Are you saying that it's right to kill?" Near asked.
Thomas glared at Near, "No. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying that if she makes sure before she does, then that means she isn't as crazy."

Aoi stared at his phone, waiting for a reply, but none came. He set down his phone and stared up at the sky, "Hmph. Thomas. And he said he's my teacher and friend."

Thomas moved back and forth in his chair uncomfortably for the rest of the meeting, anxious to get to his phone but he didn't want to seem suspicious.
