Thomas smiled, "Loosen up a bit will you? It's not like someone is gonna have a heart attack all of a sudden and die. Plus, what're the odds that that'd happen?" but still, he too was a bit nervous. N had contacted them, saying that they should be on the watch for anything suspicious. "At any rate, don't you have a social life outside of this? I mean, i know you graduated but still. Speaking of which..." Thomas reached into his backpack and pulled out a pen and a packet, "I'd better get started on this..."

Thomas looked up as the cafe bell rang. He saw a young girl walk in. She had black hair that was tied in two pigtails and pretty eyes. He smiled, then realized how creepy he was being and looked back over at Akane sternly, "Don't ignore your friends!"

Yuno then started getting an unsettling feeling that made a chill go to her spine while she was in line. Once she got her tea, she sat in a empty chair, that was ironically, the next table beside the table of the two detectives.

Thomas's phone rang too. He jumped and pulled it out of his pocket, "Hello?"
"Hey, Ronald, it's Near," came the soft voice.
Thomas stood up and thought quickly. Finally he said, "Oh, hey honey. I'm kind of busy at the moment. Call me again in five minutes. Yeah, bye!" He hung up. He scooped everything into his backpack and smiled at the strange girl and Akane, "Lady problems. I...ah...I gotta go."

She took out her phone and made it seem like she was replying to a friend but she was just sending a text to her partner. She told him to 'tell me what he says as soon as you can.'

When Thomas got to his apartment near the small cafe, Near called once again. "Hey 'girlfriend'." There was no reply, "What's wrong with you Ronald?"
Thomas unlocked his door and walked in, throwing his backpack near the door, "Nothing. So, Near-san. What's wrong? Did something happen?"
Near didn't say anything, then he said, "Ten people have died from heart attacks and it's not just in Japan. It's assorted all over the world."
Thomas sat down on his couch, "Then you know what that's called boss? That's called being paranoid."
Near sighed, "but there are a lot of deaths that's been happening in Japan for the past week. Thirty deaths."
Thomas's heart nearly stopped itself, "I...I see. Is that all?"
"Yes. Make sure to tell Akane to not use her real name out in public anymore," Near said, "You too, Ronald. That is all."

Yuno was holding a boy with dark hair the same as hers, violet eyes, and a black outfit, her brother Ren, from his school. He was in 6th grade, and cared for him dearly, not wanting him to be hurt. "Yuno-chan, what's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing is wrong, sorry to worry you." She replied, but then felt that feeling that they were being watched. She tightened the grip on his hand, and ran across the street, to the Haruaki household.

Hm...she's quite and interesting girl...I'll keep an eye on her," Thomas got up from where he was leaning and started to walk across the street also. He walked a bit faster than a stalker would, trying to pass Yuno to reaching the other side.

Yuno really didn't like this feeling. They were five blocks away, and it wasn't the right street as she thought. "Ren, take this." She started as she gave him pepper spray. "Run. There's something not right about this place, and I don't want you here more. The house isn't far away, you can remember, yes?" Ren just stared in shock. "Yeah, I remember, but-" He was stopped as Yuno pushed him. "GO!" She yelled, which was a rare thing she would do. Ren ran as fast as he could. She stopped next to the alley. "Reveal yourself." She waited, only for silence. "WHO ARE YOU, WHY ARE YOU HERE, WHOEVER YOU ARE!"

She always felt like a still doll, being pulled by strings, until they are cut, and that doll stops moving. She started shivering, wishing she put on warmer clothes this morning.
