THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
The episode was quite amazing in both drama, self realization and innovations. In terms of drama thee end was quite good on the construction side of things. So I start with that one.

About thee end, it was quite interesting to know that in fact in the spoiler
the construction work in fact destroyed the track and field of the school. Leaving a lot out in sports. Despite everyone still practising it symbolically in response to such a destruction.

While it was nice to see Konatasu in the spoiler
being hilarious to everyone and enjoyable. The real deal comes in the following,

Along with the spoiler
there is no doubt t the Title “Radiant Melody” suits the song nicely and I cannot wait to hear it all. The piano is nice in it IMO.

Excellent episode and it even referred to RPGs in the spoiler
no doubt of it. Sawa's suit shows out her breasts a lot and got to love who the frogs represent TBH. Sawa got me enticed sexually a little with that suit which looks like the one Sena was having in Haganai during the RPG parody.

About the preview, oh dear in the spoiler
Konatsu is crying! SHIT! I hope it’s nothing bad but tears of joy there. Might edit later if time is around.

Dat Taichi ... lucky bastard

Ok, I'm really sure about my Taichi x Sawa shipping now. Look at how he blushed when he saw Sawa dancing, and how Sawa responding to Taichi's *bad idea*. If this show is a romantic comedy, I'd guess they'd kiss each other already! (c-c-c-c-combobreaker for this kissing week :P)

I think I could say that i was expecting the school to be teared down after saw those construction workers. However, I was really unprepared for that culture festival cancellation. Oh man, they could just make this one their last cultural festival, not just cancel it right away?! They must be ... really sad.

That scene where everyone in the choir and sometime tennis club just doing their own things alone really emphasize that everything just gone back to the way before they had to come to the club. Since there's no need to practice, everyone just go and do their own things. :(

However, when I saw they started gathering up, and that Wakana walked in with such as smile, I have a small hope that things can get better. From the glimpse, that song sounds really good. I'm now looking forward to hear the whole thing.

Oh, and I have a grand finale in my mind, and I wish this would happen, which is:

---

Oh, by the way, I was still looking for a full version of "Goin' my way" by riya, and was sad that it wasn't released with the Blu-Ray. However, they were teasing me in this episode by having Konatsu hummed it. Damn ...

5/5 for this episode. For that they gave us the smile, then took it away in a flash.

YUP! Felt the same way. Yeah hist blush was splendid like never before.

One thing I like about this is that was really shown as a accident in life and not ecchi in any way. The setup and flow says a lot about that. That being said this is totally a good example of how slice of life shows should be done. As in good for the whole family. The ones that have ecchi are just not meant as much as Taritari is.

Even the bath part was meant to convey the whole family problem of members walking on each other in taboo places like the bath. Just saying.

I love how Konatsu stepped up on those vocal club members.
Atta girl!

So, that is what the principal and the vice principal worries about.
The school is being converted into a real estate.

And finally, Wakana's song is finally done! Can't wait to hear it on the final episode.

We don't know yet for sure but I do want to hear the song. :)

Well the episode was slow but the end was great. Everyone was so depressed and even Konatsu had lost all hope. And then Wakana appeared <3

With the song in her hands and the biggest smile on her face, Wakana put the group in the right track again. I love that girl!!

Well, cute show, but thats all it is, sadly...

So Tanaka is supposed to like Sawa, but hes ready to secretly make fanservice pics of her and give them to his random pervert friend (hell not even a friend) for some help with drawing?!? Gimme a break...
LoL at random girls behaving like absolute bitches... the show reeks on feminism. It goes a bit too far for my taste I guess.
Sawa fanservice again, whats new. Not that I dislike it, but it seems like a waste with the trees that we have for main male characters.

So much potential wasted, thats all I can say about this show.

The transformation of Wakana from a gloomy girl that was pretty much a clone of the Vice Principle to a cheerful, happy girl that is much more like her mother has been one of the shining accomplishments of this show. Fantastic character development!

That was classic! What made it better was the totally blank stares from the vocal club girls and the "What?" LOL!

I loved the Taichi x Sawa shipping done here! Before, there had been a little indication that Taichi was attracted to her, but what red-blooded heterosexual high school boy wouldn't be! This episode, it shows quite clearly that he is smitten! Sawa already displayed the signs, even through her troubles. I hope they deliver on that bit of ship-tease before the end!

The artist that was in Nako's class. She looks identical, but the personality is totally different, if I remember correctly. (She was nice, but her art was incomprehensible.)

...really? Renovations? That's the ominous twist? I had low expectations since there was only so much it could be, but I thought for sure the school was closing. That's at least something they could try to convince me was worth being upset over. But no, villainous characters in shady meetings and overdramatic reactions because they're making the school better. And oh no, the festival! The festival they knew exactly when was going to take place! They couldn't start construction a week later, or hold the festival a week earlier? This is not a hard problem to solve people! So I'm just gonna go and assume that the principal has been moping this whole time because he's really bad at scheduling.

And I'm not usually one to gripe on animation, but that badminton arm in the ED drives me absolutely crazy. Never seen anything so jarring!

Well, the important characters are still developing well as the end approaches, so at least there's that. I really hope that song makes for a great finale!

Edit: I just rewatched the last few minutes, and the dialogue is much more ambiguous than I thought. The initial impression that I got was that they were renovating the school, and the principal's defense was that the impact on current students would be minimal. Now, particularly noticing what Wakana said afterwards about the school shutting down, I can see it going either way. I'm not sure if it was the actual dialogue of CR's translation, but that whole scene definitely could have been conveyed better.

Well, noone should be exactly proud for doing such things, but if I was ever asked to do it with the girl I like, I would rather punch the pervy bastard suggesting it :/ Guess thats just me then...

If this ever delivers ANYTHING on the romance line it gets +1 from me. Now more than ever.

For this week's episode, Wakana looked like a total different person here, with her writing the song and all. Especially in that last scene when she had finished the song.

The RPG-Scene in the beginning was cute, and Sawaservice was much appreciated. And Badminton-guy got his share of personal Sawaservice as well. Lucky guy =)

And I'm really beginning to like the vice-principal, too, even though she was such a bitch at the beginning of the show.
I want Rambo in a mecha-suit with a laser-chainsaw gun that fires nuclear warheads, fighting the love-child of Predator, Alien, a group of Bangladeshi terrorists, and Satan. (Actually that would be a pretty sick show) - StopDropAndBowl

Sawa wore quite a revealing outfit in the beginning even if it was just Konatsu's imagination and I bet Taichi was happy to see her panties when she danced. I would like to see some consistency in her breast size, I felt like they were smaller again.

It's pretty fucked up that their school is essentially closing down, I wonder if it can still be saved.

konatsuchan is everyone's younger sister!
Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

It's a shame to change the shape of such a nice looking building tho i can understand that if the number of students are dropping that you want to use the buildings for something that brings in more profit.
Or at least sell some part of it since it's expensive to maintain the place.
Tho i have to say even tho Japan has been having a low birth rate for a while now that doesn't have to mean that they will still have a low birth rate in 10 to 20 years from now no one knows what the future holds after all.

In any case it's sad that everything that the worked for with the festival coming up was for nothing.
Tho it seems that Wakana hasn't given up and there might even be more people willing to take part in there musical it would be a shame to let it all go without a fight after all.

Well, fuck.
What's up with the government not waiting for the academic year to end before starting any building works and seeting up provisional classes instead? This is plainly ridiculous and offensive to all students and teachers.
I just can't grasp how they can do it just like that. A really big dick move there.
But leaving that behind, dat Sawa. How is she not perfect again? It seemed like Taichi could develop some feeling for her, but with the show ending in 2 episodes, i doubt we'll get any romantic development at all.
I'm looking forward to Wakana's song and how the group plans to sing it.
