| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For the first time, I'm not surprised that it went 3-0. It sucks to have everyone's memory wiped out and Ren freaking out abt Psyqualia and Kai not reacting to that. And in season 1, Ren looked more like an adult. now he looks and ACTS and a child. Seriously, the circuit is going to repeat Q4's losses until probably the last one. The least the anime could do is tell us how many VF Circuits are there so that we can count as to how many we'd be expecting. : |

| The cool thing about this episode is that Ren is the first character in the show to play in a completely logical way in terms of knowing when and how to defend, what to call, and such. It was pretty fun to watch Aichi get stomped by good plays. Not to mention, Ren doesn't have to win by getting an undefended critical every turn like Kai. |

| So Q4 lost completely, and Aichi wasn't even the best match out of the three, liked Misaki's battle better, though she needs to upgrade her deck |

| I've been disappointed with this season for quite a little while now. I just struggle to find it interesting in comparison to season one. I don't know I just feel that watching it each week is becoming a chore. Honestly I'd prefer the story to follow Team AL4 as they seem to be a bit more interesting than the main characters who don't really seem to grow at all. Of course, that could just be me. |

| Why has everyone except Q4 gotten stronger, and why does it seem like Q4 is back in the middle of season 1? Why did Ren re-succumb to Psyqualia so damn easily? Why has Asaka not changed at all (still an annoying bitch with a dumb crush)? I'm sure they felt the need to take some liberties to keep the show running, but this is annoying. |
