Seeing as there were no topics made yet, seemed like a good place to start. Unlike the others Tsubaki has a great variety of weapons that she can turn into. Not only does it make her all the more adaptable, but its fun to talk about which weapons we like the most. Have a feeling the Fey Blade will turn out to be the most popular. Personally the Scythe Chain really has become my favourite. There isn't a drain so it can be used in most situations. Good for blocking with the chain portion and can throw part of it only to pull back to Black Star's hand. But all the weapons have their uses. All depends on the situation and how well Black Star makes use of them. |

Yeah the smoke bomb was pretty cute when first used :). Probably the only one that has a face right on it so big points there. |

Really enjoyed episode 28. Episode 28 definitely gets points for showing off Tsubaki's modes again. Got to see the Scythe Chain, Ninja Blade, Smoke Bomb, and Fey Blade. Of course would have been nice if they won the day. Like the hint as well about more potential in Tsubaki that can be tapped into. |

From that image I like how both characters look when in that mode :). But really it is a mode that's looking better and better. While it didn't beat Mifune that shadow star was a good attack. Still do like the Chain Scythe. Think its got good flexibility in uses. Trap Star and Shield Star do a good job when its in use. Not to mention the control Tsubaki seems to have since she seems to move around on her own a bit. Still more of any Tsubaki mode is fine in my book. |

Have to say the Fey Blade keeps having more cool moments as the series continues. Episode 36 really stood out for that reason. I mean that Shadow Star Endgame Cleave was just pretty damn cool. Using the shadow to grab the opponent and drag them into a slice from the blade is a nice move no matter how you look at it. Cutting the opponents arms off when he is that tough just reflects the strength of the mode overall. Only real downside is the physical price that is paid for using it. This time especially the resonance was pushed to the limit. Seeing BlackStar clutching his chest is definitely not a good sign. Doubt Tsubaki likes using the mode as well due to the shape it leaves her partner in after. Only hope is that understanding the other presence inside Tsubaki will help to alleviate that downside. Since if it pushes BlackStar any harder it will be a mode that they just can't afford to use. |
