| Tenshi shrugged his shoulder, "Well shooting them isn't hard at all when I do it normally. But there is a little bit more of a challenge when your shooting them when jumping from rooftop to rooftop with your eyes closed. All I was trying to do is get a feel for my guns, and how to maintain the right amount of magic I use with each shot," he said with a smirk as he holstered them. "I'll have my partner help me tomorrow though, he is just like me," Tenshi said with a smile. "Kinda sad though, you've only mastered one of our shots though," said Zaiaku. "There goes your mouth again old man... we were gonna wait till he was ready before telling him about those," sighed Keigoku. ""Huh? What do you mean? There is more than one shot I can use?" asked Tenshi. "We will fill you in tomorrow wielder," said Keigoku. "You did a good job mastering the light magic bullet though" added Zaiaku. Tenshi gasped, "You complimented me!" "Shat up..." replied Zaiaku as Keigoku and Tenshi laughed. |
| "They seem to be having a good time..." said a hooded boy "Hehe, yeah. What say we ruin it..." replied a girl in a gothic lolita dress as she pulled out a large sniper rifle. "H-hey, are you sure he's the mark? I mean, there's no bounty on his head and-" but before the boy could finish his comment the girl cut him off. "He fits the description right? Tall with blue hair," she said. "But isn't that pretty common... I mean..." the boys voice trailed off as he looked away." "Don't worry about it," she said reassuringly "If someone wants him whacked then he's definately not a saint. And relax I'll make it painless" she said, pulling out a bullet the size of a D battery and loading it into her gun. She aimed the crosshair over Tenshi's head, "Shoot to kill, Saliva" and pulled the trigger. |
| Tenshi heard something flying towards him and time began to slow, "Baria," he said with a smirk on his face as a giant icy blue barrier surrounded him and deflected the massive bullet. His turned around and pulled out Zaiaku and Keigoku, "Sorry, but I gotta leave," he said with a smirk and he jumped up to the rooftop of the nearest building and scanned the area. He traced the trajectory of the bullet and could slightly make out a few people in the distance. "In all my years as a Bounty Hunter, I'd have to say this is the first time that I got targeted," he said with a smirk as he appeared behind them, "Who much is the head of Meian no Enzeru worth?" he asked as he looked at them. His eyes were glowing a fierce blue as he pointed the twin handguns at them. <<Meian no Enzeru means Angel of Light and Darkness. This version of Tenshi has split personalities, on is the Angel of Light, his usual self, and the other is The Angel of Darkness, a lover of combat and fighting. His split was caused from when he spent his entire youth in a place known as the Dead Zone, an area devoid of any life besides that of demons and other monsters. It was the area outside of the protected area in the Realm of the Gods, just to let you know ^^>> |
| "He deflected it!?" the girl said in shock,"thats hardly supprising" said the boy, as he let out a sigh "but atleast we've confirmed he's the mark... here he comes". The girl stood up and brandished a wicked looking scythe as her rifle vanished into thin air. "How much is the head of Meian no Enzeru worth?" Tenshi asked them "We aren't aloowed to disclose that informa-" "A good 3,000,000 yen" boasted the girl, interupting the boy again. |
| "Oh really? If its that much I have no idea how," he replied. "You don't know how it got as high as it is???" asked Zaiaku. "Not really," replied Tenshi to the gun in his left hand. "This is a troublesome predicament wielder..." said Keigoku. Tenshi sighed, "Yeah..." he replied to the gun in his right this time. "So what are you gonna do?" asked Zaiaku. "Well I never run... so fight?" he said with smile as he holstered his guns as wiped his arms straight down next to his sides as two swords began to materialize. One had a black handle and an ivory colored metal for the blade. While the other had a white handle with a jet black blade. His black trench coat swayed in the wind, as did his hair, as he waited for the two to make a move. His eyes analyzing their movements for any points to counter attack. A smirk still on his face he opened his mouth, "Do you think two people is enough to take me out? I spent my entire existence fighting, so I won't go down easily." His personality seemed to have changed. His words were chilling, as was his stare. Traits of his Dark side began to surface as he stood there with his icy blue eyes, a devilish smirk on his face, and his two swords readied to cut anything that gets near him. << I just passed leet-ness for a second time ^^>> |
| "Hehe, he looks strong doesen't he Shou?" she said, pointing her scythe at Tenshi "Maybe we should retreat for now.. I mean going head to head with him is bit rash don't you think? We don't even knoe the limits of his powers and-" "Time for the harvest, Falx Foenaria!", suddenly she dashes forward and starts swinging at his neck. Watching her rash actions Shou had a look of irritation and disappointment, "Would it kill you to think things through for a change..." he said preparing to draw his blade. |
| Tenshi smiled as he blocked the blade of the scythe with his left arm. His coat tore slightly, and some blood slowly began to drip. He used his other arm to slam the butt of his sword in his right arm to push her back. "Tataru..." his eyes turned completely white as his swords began to glow, "Kaze..." the air around his blades began to become to become visible as it swirled around them. He crossed the blades together and readied himself to launch a massive slash if they came at him again. The point at which the two blades meet made the wind roar as it circled around them. |
| The girl only smiled and brushed off the blow like it was nothing. Ignoring the attack he's prepared she continues to swing he scythe, "Idiot!" Shou yelled. He began to draw his blade, the slash cut across the rooftops, slicing the wind and parting his swords. "Hehehe, thanks for the help Shou," she says and, taking advantage of the opening Shou provided, attempts to slice him in half. "Don't scare me like that..." he said letting out a sigh of relief. Shou re-sheathed his blade and began to prepare for another attack, "Keep him busy" he yelled to her. |
| Tenshi began to laugh, "Baka.... you though that my swords were what I was gonna use?" he said as he began to chuckle. The wind began to roar around him, "Senpuu!' he howled as a whirlwind began to rip through everything as it fiercely swirled around him. "Sonic bullet!" yelled a voice as a massive red blast smashed into the roof in front of the two fighting with Tenshi. A dark haired guy landed on the roof of of the building next to them, "Two on one isn't that fair now is it?" he asked. One eye was black while the other was a crimson red, which resembled the eye of a demon. "What took you Kuro?" asked Tenshi as the whirlwind faded. "I was just leaving the pub when I was your whirlwind. So what is up with this?" he asked. "I have a bounty of 3,000,000 yen on my head apparently. But I don't have time for this," replied Tenshi. Kuro lifted his dual gun, Joukai & Makai, and pointed them at the pair, "Sorry, but I can't let you kill m partner. Tell me, why does a bounty hunter have a bounty on his head? Isn't it a mistake? And do you honestly think you can't take on two Grim Angels?" <<Note: Kuro's Joukai & Makai translate to Heaven and Hell and Tenshi's Zaiaku & Keigoku translate to Crime and Punishment>> |
| "Bounty?" the girl said innocently, "Oh you don't have a bounty on your head. Someone hired us, a creepy guy, looked like a bomb went off in his hands... anyway were assassins, not bounty hunters". "But whats-his-names got a point" said Shou, who was now standing next to her "we were told to exercise extreme caution when dealing with an Angel... facing two may prove a challenge." Elizabeth threw her scythe into side of the the building to her left, "Hehe, yeah we'll need to go all out on these guys" she said as a large machine gun appeared in her hands. The reflection of Kuro could be seen in her eye's "Burn baby!", and glowing symbols appeared on his pistols. "Don't underestimate us were stronger than you think," said Shou, standing behind Tenshi. |
| "All out? That means I can too?" asked Tenshi. "Yeah you can," Kuro said as he holstered his guns and formed a hangsign, "Seal of Heaven Release." Tenshi's body pulsated and a massive blue aura began to form around him, "My part is done," said Kuro with a smirk. "Souyoku no Shugotenshi," Tenshi said with an eerie voice. The building began to shake as his swords broke down to particles of light. The particles shot up into the air and stabbed into his back. Two massive black wings sprouted from his back, and he as laughing hysterically the whole time. "Well, since you guys are going all out, I couldn't resist doing the same" he said as he lifted his arm and formed a gun with his hand. Part of the aura around him began to form into a mass of energy in front of his fingertips, "Now then... who should I shot at first?" <<Note: Souyoku no Shugotenshi means Both Wings of the Guardian Angel, but he is different depending on which persona is currently in control. If light, then he isn't as reckless, but he doesn't use 100% of his power. If Dark, then he tend to be somewhat reckless and uses the full extend of his power.>> |
| "Hehe, impressive... but did you forget about your freinds pistols" Elizabeth said, turning to Kuro, "I'd get rid of those if I were you," she says as they burst into flames. Aiming her large machine gun at him she open fires. "I guess, that would be me," said Shou, drawing his sword and sliceing the air behind him "Die for me!", suddenly the space behind him tears open and coutless blades of all shapes and sizes shoot forth towards Tenshi in an attempt to skewer him. |
| "Pretty sad don't ya know?" asked Kuro, "Fire is my specialty!" He shot a wave of fire back at her as he un-holstered his guns, which where still on fire, and aimed at the ground under her. The fire began to disappear and the gun began to glow, "Not to mention that they are enchanted," he smirked and pulled the trigger and a concentrated blast of red energy rushed towards the ground, "Reflect Bullet!" he called out as it bounced off the ground as rushed for her face. The guns were still hot, and his skin began to sizzle as he gripped onto them. "Scatter Shot," Tenshi said as the ball of blue energy shot towards Shou and broke into 40 different shots, knocking down majority of the blades. A few of them plunged into Tenshi, but he gripped onto them one at a time and ripped them out. His face showed no sign of pain, he just kept on smirking. The ball of energy began to build up again, "Piercing Shot!" he exclaimed as the blast rushed towards Shou's chest. |
| "There goes my Nensha..." she says, effortlessly side-stepping the bullets "Maybe I need to approach this diferently". She suddenly turned around and jumped into the alley below "Hehe, catch me if can" she yelled mockingly. Shou grabbed a blade that had landed next to him and deflected the bullet with it, shattering the blade in the process and blowing him back a few meters. "What the hell is this guy made of..." he said to himself as he grabbed two blades next to him, "But atleast I managed to set the field". His feet left the ground and he began to levatate, "This is instant" almost instantly he moves infront of Tenshi and aimed for neck. |
| "Who does she think I am?" Kuro asked as his red eye lit up, "Demon's Eye," he said. Everything became a tint of red to him, but people remained normal. He smiled and aimed with both his guns, "Reflect bullet," he said as he pulled the triggers. The shots bounced from one wall to the next, gaining speed every time, as they rushed towards her. Tenshi smirked, "Sit upon the frozen wastelands of death, Hyouketsu!" he howled as everything around him instantly froze over. The blades made contact with Tenshi, but shattered on impact. However the shrapnel still impaled him, which caused him to start to bleed. He lunged his arm out and caught Shou by the neck. His grip tightened as he pointed his free hand at Shou's forehead. Energy began to build up, "Caught you," he said with a devilish grin still on his face. The drops of blood crystallized as they fell to the ground, leaving Tenshi standing there surrounded by fragments of frozen blood, "Cold enough for you?" he asked as he started to lightly laugh. |

| Elizabeth turned around and saw the bullets appoaching form behind her, she attempted to dodge them but one went through her shoulder and knoched her over, "D-damn" she said clutching her arm "I can't... move my arm". She pulled herself to her feet and snapped her hand, and Falx Foenaria flew out the building she through it into and struck Kuro in the back, impaling him. Shou struggled against Tenshi's grip, "I hate the cold" he said in a strained voice "But did you forget about my partner?" he asked, as glowing runes covered Tenshi's body. "Folding Earth", Shou disappears form Tenshi's grip and starts to attack the Injured Kuro. <<Folding Earth is refering to Tay al-Ard طی الارض: The ability to traverse the earth without moving. |

| "Oh? That's an interesting technique... Split step," Tenshi said with a smirk. He pushed his weight on his toes and sprung forwards towards Kuro in an instant. He gripped onto Shou and threw him backwards, "I'm your opponent. Not Kuro," he said with eyes that craved for blood as black feathers fell around him and turned into particles of energy. Kuro was coughing up blood and his gun in his right hand disappeared. A broadsword began to form in it instead, "Long time no see Rebellion," he said with a grin. He cocked back his hand and snapped it forward, "Pierce the flesh!" he yelled as Rebellion flew towards Elizabeth and impaled itself into her foot. He reached back and pulled the scythe out of his back, cringing painfully in the process and threw it to the side. He leaped off the building and slammed into the ground. He got up slowly and was panting as he walked towards her with his gun pointed at her. Police sirens started to fill the air and Tenshi looked a little annoyed. A massive scythe formed in his hand and he rested it over his shoulder. It pulsated as a massive surge of energy flowed from it. The sky began to change to a red-ish black and the sirens stopped, as did everything else besides those who were fighting. His scythe disappeared and he walked towards Shou, "Shall we continue?" |

| As Elizabeth stared down at the large sword going through her foot she smiled, "This pain is nothing" she said pulling it out. She fired several rounds into the wall of the building then set her gun on the ground. "The stage is set." she said jumping back onto the roof, and tossing Rebellion back to Kuro "Shall we dance?" she asked, doing a curtsey? "Stopping time?" Shou asked looking aorund, "I guess thats for the best... I don't want any innocents to get hurt..." he said shyly. He looked around and analyzed the roof they were fighting on, Thirty blades on the roof... he thought to himself and his eyes locked onto Sumiyaka sticking out of the gorund. "I guess I have to use them after all," he said spreading is arms, black and white daggers formed in his hands and he held them in a backhand position, "Tsumi to Batsu". |
| Kuro smiled and he stuck Rebellion into the ground. He bite into his thumb making it bleed, "Sure if you can keep up," he holstered his gun and took a deep breath. He ran the part of his thumb he bite across the palm of his other hands and formed a handsign, "Gate of Blood, Seal." The blood that was flowing from the wound on his back stopped, as did the blood from his thumb. Then, he pulled Rebellion back out and gripped onto the handle, "Ready?" "Oh? An assassin that cares for the well being of the innocent?" Tenshi smirked, "and here I thought that we had to be more cold hearted as one. You see I use to be one before becoming a Bounty Hunter. However... I was never good at it because I always took to long to kill my target," the devilish smirk turned into a grin, "It was much more fun killing them slowly." Tenshi rose his arm and pointed at blades on the roof. His eyes turned white, "Senpuu!" A blast of wind swept up the blades and sent them flying off the building, impaling them into the cars parked in the street below. He moved his arm and pointed at Shou. A ball of energy began to form again, "What madan bullet should I used now?" he asked. |
| "Lets," the said, picking up Falx Foenaria "S-type: Ludic Moment", and with those words a blue mist covered the building and Elizabeth Vanished from sight. "Do you want to risk using your Demons Eye?" she asked innocently, her voice echoing throughout the mist "Doing so may not be the smartest idea". "Blowing my blades off won't help much," he said as he layed down a dozen vectors. The vectors shot out in all directions, cought the blades, and began swinging at Tenshi. Damn... I need to hurry. My body won't last this rate |
| "Baka... my eye isn't even my real eye, its just an item created by the owner of the River Styx. My real eye was lost when I tried to restrain Tenshi when he went berserk before. I feel sorry for your friend, at least Tenshi isn't as bad as he was before," said Kuro as he tried to locate her by following her voice. He traced it as it bounced from one point to the other and lifted his gun, "Reflect bullet, Snowball Shot!" he exclaimed as a small blast shot out of his gun, "I hope that bullet takes forever to reach you. Because the longer its alive, it will only get bigger and more destructive," he said with a smirk. The thirty blades slashed at Tenshi, shedding his coat and shirt to pieces. He ripped off what was left of his shirt and coat, revealing several dozens of old scars and a tattoo of a roman numeral 12 inside of the letter C on his chest. He was still bleeding pretty bad, but his continued inching ever closer to Shou. Blood was dripping from his scar riddled arm as he continued to aim at Shou, "Sweet dreams... Heaven's Bullet!" roared Tenshi as a massive surge of concentrated energy ripped across the roof as it rushed towards Shou, shattering all the blades in the process. |
| "Oh so thats what you mean by snowball, hehe thats clever." She giggled, her voice constantly changing directions, "And I should remember to visit this River of Sticks or whatever you call it some time... but thats not important now, after all... you not our mark." Suddenly thin, laser like, pillars shot out the ground beneath him. "You sure took your time," said Shou "Its not my fault that guy wasnt exactly a wimp," said Elizabeth, as she defelcted the bullet. "We need to finish this now," he said "I'm running out of time" The air began to pulse with energy, and black static crawled across the roof. Shou and Elizabeth joined there hands together and pointed at Tenshi, ther position looking similar to that of a waltz. "Angels Scream, Devils Cry" they said in unison. But before they could finish Shou's cellphone began to ring. Reluctantey, he answered it, "Hello? Who is this?" he asked casualy "Oh its you... we were just about to... what!? ... Tch... that bastard..." he hung up with a look of irritation on his face. "Who was it?" asked Elizabeth. "It was Troy" he said to her, "The contract was a fake..." "What?!" she replied in shock, "are you sure?" "Yeah, we were set up..." he said. Shou and Elizabeth had stopped there attack and continued there conversation as if they had toaly forgotten about Tenshi and Kuro. |

| "Pfft" Tenshi covered his mouth, but couldn't hold it back. He began to have a fit of laughter as his wings welted away. The aura around him disappeared, and his eyes returned to normal. He was still laughing as he held his side, "Oh my.. heh heh... that's a riot... heh... a fake contract," he fell to his knees and sat down, "You guys have it rough, all this trouble and it was all a hoax. At least it was a good warm up for me," he said with a smirk. Kuro jumped up to the roof and sat next to Tenshi, handing him a roll of white bandages. He formed a handsign, "Seal of Heaven, Close." Tenshi's body pulsated and he gasped for air. He fell forwards a little and was panting slightly. He gripped onto the roll and began to wrap the bandages around his arms, then followed by his torso and chest. As he finished he gave it back to Kuro and pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, "So what are you gonna do now?" he asked as he snapped his fingers. The building pulsated as the damage caused by the fight after the barrier was set up began to reform itself. As it finished the sky returned to normal, and time flowed normally again. Kuro fell backwards, "I'm gonna go back to the pub and get fixed up when my body feels like moving." "I'm gonna continue with my training, I wanna try those shots with my guns," Tenshi said with a grin plastered on his face as the cigarette hung from his mouth. |
| "That may not be the best idea," Shou yelled to Tenshi from across the roof "seeing and injured man blasting cans on roof tops will looks a bit suspicious wouldn't it?" pointing out the once silenced sirens. "And trust me, 'rough' doesen't even begin to descibe it." Elizabeth said to them as she walked up to them, "If you see a creepy, frankenstein looking guy, blow his head off and bury him in his basement for me." "Where that pub you mentioned," Shou asked them laying on his back "I really need a drink," he said coughing up a little blood. He held his hand up in front of himand Sumyaka appeared in his hand. "Oh yeah... Tenshi, Lizy's Nensha is still on you so its gonna burn like hell in a couple minutes," he said boredly. "Oopsie," she said to Tenshi, sticking her tounge out. |

A blue rune appeared underneath him, "Se!" he completely drenched himself as a torrent of water poured onto him. Kuro slowly got up, "I'm fine, I can show you guys, but just to let you know, assassins are gonna stick out like a sore thumb, because it is usually filled with Bounty Hunters all the time. There should be a room if you need to crash there for the night and I'll see if Karin can patch you up." "Oh shit..." Tenshi said as he put his face in his hands. drops of water dropped to the ground from his drenched hair, "I forgot to tell her hold long I was gonna practice to. She is probably gonna bite my head off when I get back." He pulled out a pocket knife he carries with him and readied it by his hand, "If the water doesn't help, I can always distract the pain with an even greater pain," he said with a smirk. Kuro laughed, "Just make sure you aren't bleeding if you come back to the pub, you know how anal Karin gets if too much blood drips onto the floor." "Yeah I know. At least 20 of the scars on my chest are from her and that damn whip she uses," he replied, "I forgot that she underwent Grim Angel training with her father when he was still alive," he added as he laughed. Kuro remembered when he introduced himself, "Oh yeah, about earlier, I lied when I said I was a Grim Angel. Actually I'm a Seraph," he said with a smile. |
| "A seraph huh," said Elizabeth, her intrest piqued "hehe, this is the first time I've seen one in real life before... only corpses and statues..." she said circling around him and examining him. "Don't even think about it," Shou said as he grabs her arm and pulls her away. "Oh fine," she said disappointedly. Shou noticed the wounds she was ignoring and picked her up, "I told you too tell me about any injuries you receive" he said to her in a scolding tone, "We should head to that pub soon... would you mind leading the way?" he asked them. |
| Tenshi got to his feet and put the knife away and Kuro got up, "Sure," Tenshi and Kuro said in unison. Kuro laughed as he neared the edge of the roof and lifted his arms up to his sides. He slowly began to fall forwards and twisted his body in the air landing on his feet on the sidewalk. "Ready?" asked Tenshi as he jumped off instead of doing what Kuro did. The sidewalk cracked a little when he landed on it. He looked up and gestured for them to do the same. No one was out at this time of day besides all the drunks that roamed the street. |
| Shou nodded as he walked towards the edge of the building and jumped after them. He fell as if he were going in slow motion and landed soundlessly on the cold concrete, still carrying Elizabeth in his arms. "Hey... aren't you guys being a bit too nice to the people who just tried to whack you?" she asked them. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" replied Shou,"we woulden't have gotten out alive at the rate we were going". "Hehe, well yeah, but neither would they," she said, with her always creepy giggle. "And neither would any of the innocent of the innocent people within half a mile of use," Shou said, looking guilty. |
| Tenshi smiled and looked at them, "It's all in the past, that's why it doesn't bother us anymore. However," his smile turned into a devilish smirk, "If you try it again, I can't promise that you'd make it out alive." Kuro sighed, "Enough already..." he said as they began to walk. The cops were heading towards them as Kuro rose his hand, "Feather Illusion," feather fluttered around the group as the cops just hand past them, not even noticing their presences. They continued to walk as Tenshi opened the door to the pub. A bottle of Sake was flying through the air and he caught it, "Thanks Karin," he said with a smile and popped it open, taking a swing as well. "Tch. Just get to wo-" she paused as she saw people follow them in, "Welcome~" she said with a smile. "I'm going to bed, can you fix them a room? Treat their wounds while you are at it too please," he said as he opened the door to a cellar and headed to his room. Kuro pulled a few chairs out and sat at a table, "I'll be here if you need anything," he said to the two. |
| "He lives in the basement..." commneted Elizabeth as Shou set her down "Hey can I get a drink? As long as it gets me drunk I don't care whats it!" she said cheerfully. "Hey Shou-dono, You want anything? ... Eh?". Shou had an uneasy look on his face, obviously having a diffacult time coping with so many people at once. He sat in the chair between Kuro and Elizabeth, and looked around slouched, marking the exits, and hiding his face. "Your making a scene," he said, embarresed. |
| Kuro lends in forwards a little, "His room is right next to the armory," he whispered with a smile on his face. He as obviously already drunk. Karin sat at the table and placed a pitcher of beer in the middle along with some glasses, "So what happened to you Kuro? You went out to get cigarettes but then you came back with Tenshi and these two. Oh not to mention that happened..." she said. "Oh ha ha... yeah..." he sipped his drink, "I was just helping Tenshi with his training, and he froze time so people that can't function within it's radius could notice." Jake the bartender and owner of the pub motioned for the everyone to leave and flipped the sign to closed. He joined the group and poured a glass, "Welcome to my bar," he said cheerfully. The door to the cellar opened and Tenshi walked out. He had fresh bandages on and sat at the table with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He placed the bottle of Sake down and pulled the ashtray in front of him as he fished out a deck of playing card from his pocket, "What should we play?" he asked with a smile on his face as he shuffled. The cuts on his arms already began to close up because of the recovery rate of Grim Angels. "Anything is fine with me," said Kuro, "How about you guys?" he asked Shou and Elizabeth. |

"You should slow down, Liz... you can't exactly hold you liquer very well" he said to her, "Oh, shut up, you sound like my mom," she said, emptying another glass, "don't eat to fast Liz, don't microwave your pets anymore Liz, don't set that man on fire Liz". Shou, realizing talking to her was pointless, turned to Tenshi "Old Maid," he said to him. |
| Tenshi laughed and started to deal out the cards, "You can count me out. I gotta clean up," said Jake as he got up. "Alright," Tenshi said with a smile as he finished dealing the cards. Kuro looked a little shocked at Elizabeth's words, "You microwaved your pets before....?" he asked as he picked up his cards and started to sort out his cards and discarded his pairs. Karin did the same after she poured a drink for herself. |
| "Why is it always the pet thig people go at first," she asked herself "Hehe, they were only small ones... hapsters, gerbals... oh! Did you know that cockroaches explode when you microwave them?" she said exitedly "but its not a total explosion, its only there heads, there brains and insides splurt ou-", but before Elizabeth could finish explaining all the gory details of her sadistic experiments Shou shoved the end og the sake bottle into her mouth. "Please... stop," he said with an even worse pallor than usual. "Showy" she said through the bottle "Joo Ka go firsht". |
| Tenshi laughed as he held his hand face down so that Shou could take a card, but he cringed and dropped his hand. He got up holding his side which was obviously bleeding pretty bad, "Sorry, but I'm calling it a night" he said while he smiled trying to hide the fact that he was in pain. He walked to the cellar door and went down the stairs, falling at the very bottom. He slowly picked himself off the floor and coughed up some blood. He leaned against the wall and inched towards the bathroom. Karin and Kuro showed no signs of getting up to go help him. Kuro smiled and looked at him, "Don't worry about him. In all the years I knew him, he never liked showing when he was in pain," he picked up the cards and continued the game. As he got in there, he grabbed a wash cloth and used a knife to cut the bandages. The bloodstained bandages slid off his body and fell to the ground as he collapsed into the tub and used his foot to turn the shower on full blast. He put the wash cloth in his mouth as he cringed when the ice cold water struck his body. Here I thought that I could hold out longer than I did.... he thought to himself, I'm an idiot I guess he thought again as he chuckled. His body had gotten use to the water and he spit the cloth out of his mouth and turned off the water. He was lying in the tub as his blood went down the drain. He grabbed a towel that was on the toilet next to the tub and draped in over his head. His wounds had started to close up as droplets of icy water rolled over them and turned into steam. He lifted his arm and examined it, "Seems like I have more scars," he said as he laughed to himself. |
| Elizabeth was stretching the arm that had been pierced by Kuro's bullet, "Ah.... hehe, that feels so much better," she said clutching her hand "Now then if you'll excuse me..." before even finishing her sentence she falls face down on the table passed out, half from exauhstion and half fromthe alchohol. Shou let out a sigh as he turned her head to the side, "She's in worse shape than she appears," he said to Kuro, letting out another sigh, "Your pride is nothing worth getting killed over, I mean if your hurt you should ask for help, speaking of which what about you? Her Scythe strikes twice in the same place so that wound of yours may be serious" he said in a worried tone. |
| "Ah it nothing really he is just always like that. Besides I'm gonna use the 'shower' after he is done," said Kuro as he waved it off like it was nothing. "What does he mean..." asked Karin. Kuro gasped, "Um... well... actually these two attacked Tenshi, but it turned out to be a mistake." "Tenshi has the pride of a soldier, but is as stubborn as an ox when it comes to asking for help. You see he was a captain of a army of Angels when we use to live in the Realm of Gods," Kuro said as he laughed, "Anyways the shower I was talking about is special. The one downstairs is worked up to a separate water supply than the one the city uses. It was installed by Ferryman of The River Styx, and it has a healing property. So we are use to using it after a battle in which we get injured pretty badly." "The bad thing is that it doesn't get rid of the scars, it just seals the wounds leaving you with reminders of the battle," said Tenshi as he walked up behind them. He was wearing black tattered jeans, and the towel he used was around around his neck, but his chest was bare. The only thing you could see was cuts and scars everywhere along with the tattoo. He picked up a can of beer and plopped onto a chair and opened the can. After taking a sip he looked at Kuro, "You can use it now, I'm done." "Alright," Kuro said as he got up from the chair which was soaked with blood, "excuse me then," he said as he waved and headed downstairs. "Now where were we?" asked Tenshi as he picked up the cards. |
| "It was your turn" replied Shou, "But... it looks like we lost a player," he said pointing to the passed out Elizabeth. "Anyway who is this Ferryman your talking about?" his voice was becoming strained, and he was breathing heavy, "He seems to have quite a few magical items... a few too many." Shou picked up Elizabeths cards and, without looking, evenly distributed the cards between the two. He looked at his hand... he had the Joker. "Damn you Elizabeth" he muttered to himself as he shuffled the cards around. |
| Tenshi put down his hand and looked at Shou, "Are you sure that you are alright? You got hurt pretty bad too didn't you? Also I'm sorry if I choked you a little bit to much back there, but I couldn't really hold back that much," he said. "Ferryman is the merchant that we got to when we need supplies. His store is nothing but a normal pawn shop up top, but there is a warehouse that he built under it that he calls the Netherworld," Karin said. "Part of his running joke," Tenshi added as he sighed, "But its where he sells all of his magical goods. There is a Library down there too that has a lot of ancient tomes and what not. He sad some much stuff that your head would explode," Tenshi leaned back in his chair and yawned, "I think I'm out for today too, you guys win by default." |
| "I'll be fine. I'm more worried about her...", he said looking over to Elizabeth. As long as she's okay I'll be fine. "I see... Hmm... He may have somthing I'm looking for then..." Shou said to himself. "Oh hold on!" he said grabbing his arm "Tell me do you knwo what anthropodermic bibliopegy is?". "I'm looking for a book like that. Its written in a dead language with blood red letters, really evil looking, a gaping mouth on the cover. Do you know if he has any books like that?" he asked him. <<Anthropodermic bibliopegy is the practice of binding books together with human skin. Gross yet awesome at the same time>> |
| Tenshi made a somewhat shocked face, "um... I'm not sure... but I'll show you his place tomorrow after I'm done with magic practice, I have a few people that I'm teaching," he said as felt Shou's grip loosen. He rose his hand and waved, "See ya," and he walked down into the cellar and headed for his room. |
| "I see. Thanks." Shou said with a soft smile. As he watched Tenshi walk away he began to mutter to himself, "Tommorrow huh... hey, wait a minute" he said realizing something "... where the hell are we-" looking over at Elizabeth "um... I susposed to sleep." |
| Karin was still sitting at the table, "I suppose my presence was forgotten...?" she asked as she got up, "I'll show you two to you room then. I have one open, but it has two beds in it, is that alright?" she asked. Tenshi walked into his room and looked at his jet black guitar and smiled. He threw his wallet and some change on his desk and fell onto his bed, completely passing out. His walls where filled with posters of American bands, but the bulletin board in front of his desk was filled with wanted posters of which he collected the prize from. He had a mounted sword on his wall and a display of shurikens next to his desk. Kuro passed by Tenshi's room and closed the door. As it clicked the door had an auto lock on it, and cloud only be opened normally from the inside, but on the outside was a fingerprint scanner. He headed to his room, also in the cellar and opened the door to it and walked in, closing the door behind him. |
| Shou looked over to the girl standing next to him, K-kowai..., he thought to himself as he picked up Elizabeth. "The clowns are expired." she mumbled to herself in her sleep, "I... don't think tha'll be a problem," he replied to Karin. As he followed her up the stairs he passed a number of locked rooms, Just what the hell do they keep in this place anyway, he thought as he entered the room Karin led him to. He threw Elizabeth on the bed closest to the door, which didn't seem to disturb her sleep at all. He layed down on the bed and put his hand on his forehead, "Two more months..." he said to himself as he drifted off to sleep. <<Fun fact: Shou's daggers, Tsumi and Batsu, also means Crime and Punishment. However when the the kanji for them is turned backwords it reads as "Mitsu and Tsuba", Honey and Saliva, the name of Elizabeths guns.>> |

| The people waking up and getting ready for their day began to fill the air as Tenshi leaped from building to building knocking down the discs that he borrowed Ferryman earlier that day. It was around 6 o'clock, but he had been up for 3 hours training already. He finished his training with his guns as he landed into an alleyway and started to jog out of it an blended into the crowd. He was wearing headphones while he listened to music. He also had on black sports pants with two solid white lines and a black hoody with a white skull and crossbones on it with the sleeves missing. His arms where wrapped in white bandages as he practiced his jabs running down the street. Kuro walked up the cellar and looked at Karin who was another early raiser, "Where is Tenshi?" he asked. "Who knows... I got up at five and he was already gone. He is probably psyched that he is teaching today that he is out exercising," replied Karin as she put the chairs at the tales down. Kuro was helping her set up while Jake was in the back washing the dishes. The commotion they where making started to wake up the others that we upstairs. <<lol thats cool ^^>> |
| Shou layed in his bed still in the same position he was in when he fell asleep, the banging of chairs and the clanging of dishes had woken him up. He got up and sat the edge of the bed rubbing his eye's then stood up and wandered downstairs, still half asleep. "Yare yare... what is this... so early in the morning..." he said with a yawn. Shou had never been a morning person and is usualy very irratable when he wakes up. His yellow eyes swept across the room and glew in the dimly lit stairway, due to the fact that he was born with tapetum lucidum in his eyes. "Where's the other one..." he asked, leaning a shoulder on the wall. <<Note: Tapetum lucidum is latin for bright tapestry and is is a layer of tissue in the eye of many vertebrate animals and lies immediately behind, or sometimes, within the retina. It reflects visible light back through the retina, increasing the light available to the photoreceptors and increasing night vision. However some of the light isn't aborbed and is reflected back out of the eye, hence to glow.>> |

Probably out for his morning practice and exercise. He is always the first one up." "He usually only ever gets three or four hours of sleep. Its a bad habit he developed when he was a little kid, after all he was practically in hell that entire time," Kuro said with a somewhat nervous laugh. Karin's look strayed as she continued to put down more chairs, "Yeah... that's probably why..." "Ah! Sorry... I forgot that that's a hard subject," said Kuro as he looked down. "It's alright..." she replied. "Oh it could be because of the fact that he is a former soldier from the Realm of Gods," said Jake trying to lighten the mood. Karin nodded and Kuro sighed. Tenshi was jogging in place as he waited for the light to change. He was wearing his hood and his hair blocked his eyes. A little kid across the street waved as Tenshi lifted his head. His eyes were glowing blue and it seemed to have scared the little kid. 'Damn... that always happens... why do my eyes become like this when I jog?' he thought to himself. People began to look at him, but then the light changed and he continued his morning jog. 'Blending in with these people is so hard sometimes..' he thought as a car ran the red light on accident and smashed into him. Shrapnel of glass was impaling him as he stood there with the front of the car bent around him. He was still standing as people looked at him stand with the front of the car wrapped around him, 'Oh shit.... this isn't good...' he thought as he stood frozen. Jake was flipping through the channels as a news story was reporting a story. "This just in! When the people of Genkin City were waking up, there was a hit-and-run accident," said the reporter. "That's horrible..." said Karin. "It seems that the driver was hospitalized when he collided with what witnesses say was a man jogging. He was dressed in all black, but they couldn't get a clear look at his face. Another eye-witness says her daughter cried at the sight of the man because he had the eyes of the devil. The suspect is still at large-" she was cut off when Jake changed the channel with another reporter claiming that there was a super human among them. "You don't think...?" asked Kuro as the door to the bar opened. Tenshi was walking in. He had a white t-shirt on with black sports pants. "Morning," he said as he walked by and grabbed a can of beer. There was still pieces of glass sticking in his arm, and he had several cut marks. 'I knew it...' thought Kuro, Karin, and Jake. |
| All this... so early in the moring..., Shou thought to himself as he walked over to Tenshi. "Hey where are these people you suspased to be teaching?" he asked him, totaly ignoring what he had just heard on the TV, "I'll help out, too" he said with a smile. Suddenly he heard sirens in the distnance, they were getting closer. They coulden't have followed him could they... he thought to himself, as Elizabeth walked down, "Aagh! Could you keep it down!" she said holding her head, she obviously had a hangover. "Oh!... Tenshi's still here? I thought he'd be in jail by now..." she said to them "I forgot you were a psychic..." Shou said to her. "Hehe, I'm hurt Shou," she replied to him, "Anyway If I were you I'd hide" she said as she puched Tenshi down the basement stairs, "They'll be here in about... now." And, just as she said, a police car pulled up infront of the pub right on cue, "Well I'll leve the rest to you guys," she said as she stretched, "I'm going gonna go take a shower, If anyone peeps I'll blow you head off," and with those kind parting words she walked back upstairs. |
| "Damn her..." said Tenshi as he walked into the armory. He shuffled through the good in there, "Ah! Found it," he said as he put on a watch that he picked up, "Now I just set it to 12..." he said as he set the digital clock. When he set it to 12 he began to disappear. He began to creep up the stairs as he left the basement. "Sorry officer, we haven't seen anyone like that around here," said Jake as he conversed with the cop. Karin and Kuro where also talking with them as Tenshi tiptoed across the room to the stairs, he bumped into Shou, but covered his mouth as he turned him around and forced him to go up stairs. Mimicking Shou's voice with another item he picked up from the basement he said, "I'm going back to bed after all." As they got upstairs, Tenshi lead him to the end of the hallway and said, "I appreciate it but I can teach them," he said still invisible. The window started to open as Tenshi climbed out and jumped into the back alley. He walked out of the alley and the time now read one. As he got to the sidewalk he had on a black business suit on, and his hair was black. The merchandise from Styx really saves a person's ass from time to time,' he thought to himself as he walked down the street. The cop cars slowly began to leave. <<The watch he is wearing is the River Styx Multipurpose Wristwatch. Its features include: Invisibility, Appearance Alterations, Grappling Hook, Radar, and much more. It also doubles as a normal watch when set to a different mode.>> |
| Shou stared out the window Tenshi had just jumped out of and watched Tenshi walk away. Shou continued to watch him until he could no longer see him then reached into the pouch of his hoodie and pulled out a cellphone. He dialed a number and held it up to his ear, "Troy, its Shou," "Oh, why hello there. What can I help my cute little Shou with today," the woman asked in a british accent," "I need you to look into somthing for me" he replied as he walked into his room. Once Shou heard the police car leave he walked back downstairs, wide awake now. He was had on the same hoodie as before but it was unzipped this time, showing a plain black shirt, he also had on a grey knit cap and a scarf covering half his face. "Is it always so exciting here in the morning," he asked with a smile. |
